What a lovely concept--special-needs citizens thriving in a special community, surrounded by loving caregivers, understanding supervisors, and a host of committed volunteers.

Come for lunch and to shop in the beautifully eclectic retail shop or thriving greenhouse. (Hey, Cowboy, did you know, they have a great hat selection and can shape it to your preference?!!!)

Most importantly, if you have a chance, take a tour of the chapel, workshops, and grounds and meet some of the citizens. Many are so proud and excited about the wonderful products they make on-site. I'd visited the cafe and retail shop, but never had the level of appreciation I have for this organization until I did that recently.

On a recent trip to south Texas to visit our daughter & family we drove up from Houston to visit Brookwood. We were so impressed with everything! The extensive gift shop has something for everyone and I was pleasantly surprised at how reasonable the prices were in the garden center. We had an amazing lunch, took home a slew of desserts and of course as many plants as we could squeeze into our mini van. My husband hasn’t stopped raving about the beef lentil soup! I believe the beef stock was the richest I’ve ever tasted. Of course, now I have to try and duplicate it. No pressure. 😳

Brookwood is an amazing place full of amazing people. Thank the Lord for everyone there. The community members, the staff, everyone is so great! May the Lord bless the work of your hands and keep you all of your days!

We like the store and restaurant. I'm always prepared for my wife and me to come to the register with a handful of stuff. There's a nice leather couch for me to sit on while my wife shops.

This is a must if you’re in Katy. Come to lunch at the cafe, browse through the gift-store or shop at the garden center. A lovely facility for adults with disabilities.

I love to buy a plant in brookwood.They have good selections,you can find a good deal too.Plant lovers must check this place!

First time visiting the gift shop and garden plants. Bought myself a beautiful yellow orange abd pink rose bush. Next time I be back to try tge Cafe.

Nice gift shop with many Christmas decorations, ornaments, and gifts. The proceeds from the gift shop and restaurant are used to provide jobs and programs for the mentally challenged.

We had a wonderful time shopping and having a fabulous lunch. It is a very beautiful place. Very impressed with all the awesome people that work there. My God continue to bless all the work they do for the adults with disabilities.

Place is a great place to take visitors to Brookshire. Expensive but great when need a safe,clean place just to get out.

Always love to shop there but the restaurant is fantastic. Their plants are pretty good, too.
They have everything ..you can eat and shop there. You must go there and they make a lot of their items.

This was an amazing organization! They have an amazing gift/ clothing store, resturant, nursery, and group home for disabled adults. The clothes were beautiful but expensive, and the Christmas decorations beautiful and for sale. The resturant light and sunny and the menu simple but elegant. Service and the food were outstanding and the prices reasonable. We loved it.

Brookwood is one of my favorite lunch spots to take out of town guests. I had been a suporter of the spring flower sale for years and now enjoy the restaurant and gift shop. The food is great as is the service. It is lovely to combine good memories with friends which benefit the community.
