Tacos Mi Estilo Jalisco

We have stopped by Tacos Mi Estilo Jalisco twice for lunch on the weekend. It's never been too crowded so ordering is pretty quick. The quesabirria is so good! They warm two corn tortillas and fill it with birria and melted cheese. We have also tried the tacos and mulitas with asada and carnitas and both were delicious! For those who don't know, mulitas are very similar to the quesabirria except the meat is whatever you choose. I would highly recommend coming here for the tacos, mulitas, and quesabirria! The food is amazingly fresh and flavorful and for the price ($2.75 - $3.50) it's really hard to beat. Note this is a truck that is parked outside of the Harley Davidson so there is no dedicated seating or bathrooms.

Very clean rooms and very nice staff, we would love to come back. It was already very late in the evening and we were still hungry, I can only recommend it, the food was super delicious 😋 even though we ordered very late.

2022 Food Truck Month, Part 5
October is typically one of my favorite months of the year and because of this series I want this month to end even less than I normally do. I had no idea that many cities don’t appear to welcome food trucks within their borders, so tracking one down can be a little more challenging than I anticipated.

Having said that I’ve really enjoyed searching for them where they can be found and I absolutely intend to continue this series in October 2023!

We caught up with “Tacos Mi Estilo Jalisco” on the corner of Los Vallecitos Boulevard and Bingham Drive in San Marcos, California.

Their “Pollo Tacos” and “Pollo Burrito” were both flavorful and enjoyable. Where they really distinguished themselves was with their “Asada Tacos” and “Carnitas Burrito.” The fresh ingredients and flavors really complimented one another and made both these items excellent.

Not lost on one of our Review Team Members is that the burritos featured whole pinto beans that were not refried (which brought back fond childhood memories of the pinto beans being prepared in a similar manner).

Although their is no seating available, there is a small counter for you to utilize while eating. We discovered a picnic table available in front of the adjacent motorcycle store that came in handy.

They prefer cash, so come prepared.

We have to admit that we loved their hashtag (#tacoboutjalisco)!

We were cruising down Mission Blvd yesterday and landed upon this gem. We had the carnitas taco. so yummie I almost forgot to get a photo 😆. Price was also reasonable too. Yea so if you’re ever in the Valley you need to hit up this spot.

Definatelly authentic Mexican tacos!!! We tried Carne Asada, Berrian and AL Pastor! The cilantro , onions and jalapeños made them excellent! Very tasty, and the Jamaica agua fresca was great! My toddler had a cheese quesadilla. This is a food truck. There was a bench we used and we ate outdoor !😋

Great taco spot that offers a different style from the region of Jalisco. High quality meat and tasty homemade salsa. Don’t expect TJ style with lots of extra toppings. This is the minimalists taco spot. I’ve had the birria, carne, pollo, and shredded chicken. All to go, no seating other than grassy area next to Harley Davidson

The rice and beans were good! The chicken tacos were nice and juicy. The shrimp tacos sauce is literally the bomb! Five stars for sure. Sorry I eat the food too fast before I could take a picture 😂

Super good. I’m from New Mexico so nothing compares to it yet. Not even this place. But it does have good tacos. The shrimp is kinda spicy but fire. Chicken tacos are also good. That’s all I have had. Rice and beans kinda plain but still good.

YOU HAVE TO TRY THIS PLACE! Simple, tasty, and well priced. Ordered eight tacos to eat there and ended up ordering four to-go because they were so good. So tired of the other taco places around here selling mini-burritos, AKA "tacos," for $5. This place is legit. Can't wait to go back! Recommendation to business: please try to get on Door Dash if you can so we order from home (I know you are on GrubHub).

This is one of my favorite places to get tacos so I hate leaving a review because it will mean longer lines but they deserve it. The tacos are slightly different than your traditional TJ style tacos but delicious nonetheless. You can’t go wrong with anything on the menu so try it all

Awesome! The tacos al pastor were some of the best I’ve ever had. And my kids loved the chicken quesadilla. Will definitely be coming back regularly.

Stopped here yesterday. Had the Al Pastor Tacos and an Horchata. The tacos were the best I have had in a long time! Even the salsa had flavor! The horchata was super good too!! The price is pretty good too!!
And last but not least, the young lady that took my order was very nice too!!!
I highly recommend trying this little taco truck!! I hope all the other tacos are as good!!

Juicy pastor, bomb salsa, awesome people = best freekin street tacos have had. I only go here now, the second truck got started up too.

Been driving by this place everyday coming home. Always a line out front. I thought a taco truck at a gas station, can't be that good, I was wrong. Great little tacos, and even a variety to choose from. Value priced. Now if I'm in a rush for a quick snack or meal I stop. Strongly suggest you give it a try. The lady taking orders had a bit of an attitude today, but quickly forgot when I got my tacos. Conveniently located at corner of mission and las posas.

For me, the Asada and Pastor tacos were nothing special.

But the Carnitas was insanely good, very tender and juicy and flavorful. Reminded me of Carnitas Momo in LA. I definitely want to come back just for the Carnitas, and maybe try a few other meats as well.

We have gone numerous times to the one in San Marcos and we never leave disappointed. The food is authentic and has such an amazing taste. The food truck is very clean and the customer is excellent. These tacos are a must and they just added bowls too for those who don’t eat tortillas. Highly recommend them. They have 2 locations Fallbrook and San Marcos

High quality tacos that melt in your mouth. Staff is always friendly and food is delicious here.

I usually get the carne asada tacos, but definitely need to try out there are menu items!

The al pastor tacos are really good here! The red salsa though is on another level. Had left over salsa and ate it on eggs, to die for!
