Great place for a family gathering or just plain BBQ outside by the river. Fishing is good but you need to go up river...kayak friendly.

We spent a weekend there a couple of summers ago and I thought it was so perfect for the kids. The water wasn't too deep and up top there were inflatables and rides the kids. We loved it.

Very calm and peaceful place to go fishing and have some quiet time.
It would be nice if other people who come would be considerate and respectful of the obvious spot someone is fishing in and not take it over.....but I guess some people just don't know how to see other people around them.
