He was very great at communication and my car returned to me great! It's been running without anymore issues. (I had a coolant leak coming from my turbo.) He realigned my light at no extra charge, and he even informed me on things to keep an eye out for after giving it back to me. I will definitely be going back to him again with my car needs. This was my first time at Brown’s auto and was very impressed. Richard kept me informed and updated on the progress of my repairs. I had him replace my a/c compressor, condenser and lines. Everything was put back like it was originally. Just a great job, he will be my go to guy for auto needs.

I'm new to Brown's Auto Center. I Googled "mechanic near me" and, out of about twenty or so choices, this shop seemed like the most likely choice with positive reviews and the proximity to where I lived. Very happy I made this choice. I needed an entire new steering system. I knew (guessed) this already. And as we discussed that repair over a phone update, I asked Richard to look into an air conditioning issue that I had been putting up with for years and figured it was about time to address. After further investigating and pricing the parts, Richard gave me a firm quote that I agreed to, and his shop did the work.
Just picked my truck up and it now steers like new and, with the A/C "servo" issue solved, I'll finally be able to survive another hot Texas summer without melting.
Very happy with my service and I highly recommend this shop.

I had my fuel pump go out during a weather freeze. One of the only places that got back to me quickly. Richard Brown was professional and very straightforward about the job over the phone and in person. When I brought my vehicle in he even gave me a ride home so I didn't have to uber, which was very kind of him. The fuel pump was replaced quickly. I was able to get my car the same day it was fixed and I couldn't be happier with my experience with Brown's auto center. Highly recommend, exceeded my expectations.

Very friendly service, Richard does all my mechanic work on all my vehicles. He has even helped me diagnose over the phone. Family owned business, small staff but still gets the work done in a timely manner. While his place is set off the beaten trail, he has been in business for over 20 years, starting in Grapevine and moving to Roanoke later. He can do anything from simple oil changes to air conditioning repairs. Trucks, cars, jeeps, SUV work.

3 month update- Richard replaced a timing chain on my car when the first place I took it to told me a new engine was needed or just scrape it. Richard was fair honest and dependable. Car is running great! Thank you Richard.

He understands what is needed to keep you going or what needs to do to make it like new. There is no pressure either way, always safe, and at the right cost. I would highly recommend.

Finally I have found an affordable auto center that I trust. While other centers insisted my truck needed a new engine, Richard Brown disagreed and had my truck running like new for half the cost of a new engine. I also trust they will not do unnecessary repairs. When performing maintenance on our newer vehicle, they saw an issue that needed attention. Instead of charging me to make the repair, they suggested it may still be covered under warranty. Again saving me hundreds of dollars. Brown's Automotive integrity puts other service centers to shame, including car dealerships!

I recently asked Brown's to service my 2001 Fort Expedition with 305K miles and after driving down to Houston today, I can report the car runs great. Mr. Brown and his staff are honest and do good work. Matter of fact all three of my Fords run great due to Brown's service and support.

Super nice people and incredibly helpful and honest. I got an estimate here that was $500 less than the estimate I got at a franchise auto place. They were very busy, but fixed my problem in the same day and my vehicle working great now. I highly recommend Brown's and will be doing all my car work here in the future.

I visited them from out of town about two months ago and couldn't have been happier with my experience. Richard and his wife took excellent care of me - let me know about all repair needs & expenses in a professional way - not pushy once. They even took me to downtown Grapevine while they worked on the vehicle. I felt the most comfortable I ever have at a repair shop/auto center. I highly recommend.

Been to many mechanics and this family run autoshop is what you hope for. Honest, friendly, timely, and fair priced. Grapevine Ford wanted to charge me $12,000 for a refurb engine on my f150. Ricky was willing to actually take time to diagnose the problem and fixed my truck for $2,600. Awesome people that take pride in what they do!

I called around after relocating to this area to find a mechanic that would be trustworthy....I believe we have found him. I have a 2009 Tahoe that I love and have no desire of replacing, we noticed oil stain in the driveway, I called Brown's they were very honest and said they could swing by and take a look( as they are in my neighborhood). After the initial look it was determined we needed some work done and made an appointment to take the car in. Took the car in dropped it off, Richard called that afternoon and explained his initial thought was correct and the part needed to be replaced. Fast forward a few days after getting the car back, my husband goes to run an errand and can't get down the street the car has no power. My initial thought oh no!!! But we got it back in the driveway text Richard who came straight over with his computer, diagnosed it and replaced the damaged part. ON A SATURDAY MORNING!! Granted one repair had nothing to do with the other, he was still willing to come check his work and repair my vehicle! We will only use them from now on :)

Took my truck in on a holiday and needed a same day repair. They did an outstanding job and had it back like they promised a few hours later. I know if it was something more mechanical than U-joints im sure it may have taken a few days but they delivered and called when my cost threshold was met to ask if I wanted to continue. If they worked on boats I would take my boat to them. Overall great service and honest.

The folks at Brown's are really nice people. They completed the brake work I needed promptly and professionally and didn't over-charge like others have tried. They adhere to a principle I have taught my kids over the years. "Do the job well and then give a little more." Highly recommended!
