I will not elaborate on what it was they did (as they made a one time exception and went above and beyond to help me out of a bind)... but I definitely had to mention this and leave a review as not many places would do this now days and it meant more to me than they will ever know!!! Thank you Michael and Chris!! On top of this, I have taken my car in for repairs and it was always fixed timely and right. I highly recommend Smiths.

Smiths always does a great job! They are my go to mechanics that are honest, reliable, and affordable. I’ve had multiple vehicles I’ve taken there over the years and they never disappoint!

Best car repair experience I ever had, was there at 8 and my car was ready before 11:30 even though they had to wait for the part to come from the dealership. They were very honest and did a great job! I won't go anywhere else!

Brian Smith (owner/manager) of the repair shop is the most responsive, honest, reliable, kind, and intelligent auto repair guy I have ever met in my life. Recently, I had a sensor outage in my 2019 Ford F-250 and I took to Autozone to have it confirmed. They said it was probably just a sensor problem so I replaced it. Unfortunately it was much worse than that. I called Brian's shop and explained the predicament, and that I was scheduled to go on a roadtrip that very afternoon. He called the local Ford dealership to have the part available for pick-up by me. I picked it up and drove to his shop to have it installed which it promptly was. I live in downtown Houston and do not drive anywhere for any service (doctor, dental, etc.) but I will always go to Brian's shop for auto/truck problems going forward. He is the man!

Brian and his staff are always courteous and helpful. They have always treated me fairly with all repairs and warranty work on my vehicles. I trust them and recommend them.

Took my son’s car in for multiple repairs. We had a few hiccups at the beginning but boy did Brian go above and beyond to make everything right!!! Even offered to refund my money which I refused! I mean come on they did the work and they had to pay for all the parts! That would have been really bad karma on my part!! But no way was I going to allow him to refund anything! It was really just a fluke on most of the mess ups. He fixed it right and all is great with it now!! I will absolutely be taking my other vehicles to him when they need repairs. The only problem is there is a lot of vehicles there as they come so highly recommended. But definitely worth the wait to get in and I see they are expanding and adding new bays to their facility. Brian is absolutely wonderful and such a pleasure to work with. He goes above and beyond to make sure you’re happy. I am extremely pleased with the service that I have gotten there. I am a Houston and Katy reviewer and this was one review I really enjoyed doing.

Great service and cheaper compared to the dealer. Slight mishap after a repair was done, but it was quickly remedied. We’ve taken 3 cars here and all have been good experiences.

I had to pick up my 2021 Jeep Wrangler from the dealership after 2 full days it was just sitting there. Dealership hadn't even looked at it yet. Took it to Smith's Auto: upfront, honest, excellent customer service, smoothest, headache-free process! My jeep was repaired Thursday and I got it back Friday afternoon! Satisfied? 100% !

Most reliable and trustworthy mechanic shop there is. Love there no bs on what diagnosis and price is they'll never overcharge or tell you need fixing just to make a $. Very knowledgeable staff with a great atmosphere for customer service. Only downside to being the best as they are is open slots they are always busy & well worth the wait. For 2 generations my family has used them and never has there been a problem. They are truly the way a shop should conduct business. Thank you all for your great service & care dealing with the public.

Brain is a very good guy!! He will try his best to fit you in if it’s busy they did good on 02 Corolla power steering pump got me in and got me out !!

Honest and professional. They are a busy shop. However, it is worth the wait. They are extremely honest and only fix what needs to be fixed. They never push anything on you. The price is very reasonable, not outrageous pricing like the dealerships and chains.

I don't do reviews, but being a procrastinator, this is something that I meant to do months ago, and I am just getting to it...I moved to old Katy a little over 2 years ago, and I was looking for a good automotive place to have my vehicle serviced if needed. I chose Smith's Auto, and I have been going there since the Spring of 2020. I would first like to say that EVERYONE, Brian, Chris, and Michael has always been courteous, respectful, and very knowledgeable about what I needed to have done. No bait and switch or outrageous prices. I always went in the morning when they opened up. My problem was handle quickly, and I was back on the road within a short period of time. If I had any issues with anything, the problem was addressed immediately and taken care of. This shows the INTEGRITY of Brian and his crew. Based on my experiences with Smith's Auto, I recommend them for your automotive needs.🚘

I went to Smith's Auto Repair after the dealership diagnosed my truck with needing a new engine that would have cost me $10k. I went to Smith's for a second opinion, they did a thorough check of my truck and did not find what the dealership found. Chris and Michael at Smith's did give me advise as to what they felt was wrong and they were absolutely correct. My truck is now running good as new. I really appreciate their honesty and their willingness to find what the issue was and making sure it was repaired. They are a great team over at Smith's Auto Repair!
