Galactic Gallery

Having been a life long fan of Drew Struzan, I was quite surprised when I learned that his sole representation was through a local gallery, Galactic Gallery. Not only that but Galactic Gallery's primary exhibit was Drew's original art work. I quickly made an appointment to visit Galactic Gallery as soon as possible and the best part was it was literally in our backyard right here in Flower Mound.

We visited the gallery on a Saturday morning and the owner Ben Stevens, greeted us personally at the door. He showed us around and made us feel comfortable and free to view all the art at our own pace. Seeing Drew's original art up close was no different than seeing the actual brush strokes of a Van Gogh or Monet at the Louvre in Paris. In short, it was breath taking. Ben has created a world-class gallery space that is open, bright and welcoming. Ben even showed us his work space area and the many treasures he had on file that were amazing as well.

We ended up buying a collectors item of a lifetime as well, a Back to the Future triptych signed not only by Drew himself but by Micheal J. Fox too!
All in all it was a great experience and we loved our visit and highly recommend it to other art lovers as well.

As a follow up Galactic Gallery hosted an event in November with the man himself, Drew Struzan, who graciously signed some of my treasured movie posters that he created. It was a once-in-a-lifetime bucket list event. There was a food truck with great food on hand as well. It was also great being with a crowd of like minded Struzan fans as well. It was quite a night. Thank you Ben for bringing this amazing space to Flower Mound. Truly a first-class facility.

The Galactic Gallery is incredible! I've been 3 times now, and plan to go back soon! Seeing Drew's original art is an experience that I absolutely cherish, and I never would have had that experience if it were not for Ben Stevens. The work that Ben has done with the gallery is nothing short of extraordinary. He's also friendly and welcoming from the time you walk in the door to the moment you leave. I simply can not recommend this gallery enough. Stop whatever you're doing right now, and book an appointment!

As a kid growing up in the 80s, I used to stare at Drew's incredible posters in front of the movie theater. I was always mesmerized by his ability to capture a likeness. After watching his documentary multiple times, I was shocked when I saw that a gallery (totally focused on Drew's work) was opening two miles from my home in Flower Mound! I remember so many of those posters and to see the artwork in person is nothing short of amazing. Thank you, Ben, for such an awesome gallery! If you haven't been, make an appointment today, you won't be disappointed!!!

I've been a fan of movie posters and Drew Struzan's art since I was a kid so when I found out about Galactic Gallery I was so excited. It did not disappoint! They have great pieces of original art and the owner walks you around answering any questions if you want. Plus they have great prints and gifts for almost anyone. I highly recommend going.

Absolutely stunning venue for viewing incredible works of pop culture art.

I've been twice so far and on the second time was the VIP Drew Struzan meet. I can't say how great it is that this place is so close (relatively speaking) it is so fantastic to see Drew's art in person, something I'd never though I'd be able to do. I only wish I could afford an original. I will go back and I hope the Gallery expands even more. If you are a fan of movie posters and especially Drew Struzan this place should not be missed.

To say my son is a Star Wars fanatic would be an understatement, so on our last trip to Texas we had to visit Galactic Gallery. The owner gave us a personal tour and shared some great insight into many of the items in the gallery.

If you are "thinking" about going, stop. Just go. You won't regret it.

I love this place so much. Seeing Drew Struzan's work in person is one of the most memorable experiences of my life. Ben Stevens is very friendly and accommodating and his collection of pop culture collectibles and fine art is truly a sight to behold. I highly recommend visiting.

A Visual Candy Shop. I visited Galactic Gallery during a Drew Struzan exhibit. I never thought I would get to see so many of his original pieces up close. Quite a crowd showed up for the event, but there was plenty of room for everyone. The Gallery is well lit and easy to move around, and the exhibit was well curated. Various rockets throughout set the tone. There's also a life size Alien Queen on site that makes for a great selfie moment. I notices that there is a full pop culture art library in back, and even spotted Loish's two books (of course a third of those has just gotten it's kickstart funding so now there's a trilogy.) All in all I had a great time. Ben Stevens has done a great job with this.

This place is a literal slice of heaven if you’re a fan of the master, Drew Struzan, like I am. Honestly, I never thought I’d get to see his works in person so for Galactic Gallery to suddenly appear and answer my prayers is a treat to say the least. I also loved my chat with Ben Stevens, the owner, who is just as big of a fan. Can’t say enough good things about this place - it is a treasure!!!

I have visited by appointment a couple of times - as the artwork changes, I like to go back and visit again - and attended the Drew Struzan event when that happened. The gallery is always amazing! I can't imagine a better place to view original works. The owner, Ben Stevens, is always very friendly, and extremely knowledgeable about all the art. I can't recommend it enough!

GET THEE TO GLACTIC GALLERY!

Tucked away in a non-descript building in Flower Mound, you will find one of the most fantastic art galleries you have ever seen! Galactic Gallery is a movie lover's, or just a general Geek's DREAM! From the moment you walk in, you are absolutely overwhelmed! Drew Struzan has to be one of the BEST artists ever. It is hard to believe that the paintings on display are not photographs. Extremely realistic. I had so many flashbacks to some of my favorite movies of the past. You will have an absolute blast walking down memory lane!! STAR WARS! INDIANA JONES! POLICE ACADEMY! THE MUPPETS!! (and who doesn't love the Muppets?)
There is also a giant replica of the Alien Queen from the "Alien" movie franchise. It is a wonderful photo op!
You WILL have a fantastic time at this place.
Say HI to Ben while you are there!! And don't forget to visit the gift shop.

Amazing experience every time here. I'm just thrilled to have one of the most celebrated film artist's collections on display and for sale right in our back yard. It's a must visit for every movie fan.

This place is awesome. IT not only offers up the fancy gallery experience, but takes it up a notch with the pop culture and geek heaven it showcases. It is a must visit!

This place is great, the owner is super friendly and knows his stuff. He’s also willing to work with you if you want to buy anything. You have to make an appointment so you can’t just walk in, but that’s not a big deal.

Amazing gallery, had a blast and the owner was kind enough to take time and talk shop with us. I will 100% be going back to see more and hopefully pick up an original one day
