I was very impressed with how quickly I received a quote. The representative was very nice and took my inventory over the phone. Other companies I called wanted to come to my home. When the movers got here the day of the move all of my stuff was wrapped and loaded on to the truck. I have some art work that I'm very fond of and Blue made sure they took extra care of my art work. Thanks for a job well done! I will use you guys again if I ever have to move again.

The crews work was A++.
They did a great job being on time, in wrapping/taking care of my items.The crew never stopped for a beeak but worked hard the entire day.
They were very professional from the dispatcher by name Mike who made follow up calls to the movers.
Thank you so much for taking good care of my belongings and bringing them from Maryland to Alabama in good condition.

I can't thank these guys enough. They came thru last minute for me an my family with a move from California to Texas. The initial company we were working with dropped the ball on us last minute and never showed up the day we needed to be moved out of our place. I came across these guys and they were able to get us taken care of. They were on time, confirmed when we should expect their arrival and at our convenience, they even had extra packaging material for all of our stuff. I will gladly use them in the future and recommend any one to them as well.

These guys were a blessing for my family. They moved us from our family home in Mississippi to our new place in Texas. The process was smooth and though we were worried, Raphael and his team made it as carefree for us as possible and it really helped ease things for us during this difficult time. They were on schedule and even confirmed with us the day before our move and the day of. I've referred a few others to them and I'll be using them in the future for my business moving needs as well.

Mimi and the staff were fantastic. Very prompt to respond to my online inquiry and despite the fact that we had to play phone tag several times due to my crazy schedule and kids, they were always accommodating and courteous. Their quote was extremely detailed and they answered all of my questions. Ultimately my husbands company decided to handle our relocation but I would have no reservations calling American Eagle if and when we have moving needs again!!

I worked with Chris on my recent move from CA to TX. He was very helpful in working with me before the move and planning it so that it went very easy and with no stress. He was professional and provided great service. Everything made it to the new location on time and without any problems. If I ever have to move again, I will be calling Chris to get his help.

I was really nervous about moving due to the horrific stories I’ve heard about some moving companies online but I spoke to Chris and he was friendly and very helpful. The movers were on time and all my stuff made it back to me with no damage. The price was great too!

Overall, I would recommend American Eagle moving and Storage. When getting my initial quote, the representative Shondrell was helpful and gave me all the information I needed. The only negative thing I would say is that I had to play phone tag to reach Shondrell again.The movers dropped everything off 3 days later for a 500 mile move, which I thought was impressive!

This is the first time I have had real movers move me from state-to-state. American Eagle Moving has been very responsive to my concerns and allowed me to directly communicate with the representative that can make a firm commitment. They have reassured me that I made a good decision. They are taking on a complicated move; I live in one state, the furniture is in another state and American Eagle will deliver to a 3rd state. The detailed logistics involved require a team committed to excellent service.

The representative was quick and sent the information needed. Once the online furniture assessment was complete, the representative (Chris) followed up and sent a quote that was well within my budget. So far, American Eagle Moving has been an excellent company. We will wait and see how the actual move goes.

Now that the move has occurred, I can give an update for my experience.

1. The movers who came to pick up my furniture were respectful, careful and hard working.

2. The movers who came to drop of my furniture at my new place were respectful, careful and hard working.

I have NO complaint about these individuals. However, I would not recommend this company to others nor will I use them again. This is because of the following:

1. I was called by dispatch on one day stating that the movers would arrive to pickup my furniture on the next day. Nobody showed up, so I called Chris late in the afternoon. He did not see that a pickup had every been arranged. However, he stated that my stuff would be picked up in the next couple of days. Again, nobody showed up. On the fourth iteration of this and with me in tears, I finally got an ETA for a pickup.

2. While the stuff had been carefully loaded, when it arrived in New York, it had obviously been moved to a new truck and that was NOT done carefully. Boxes were crushed. A box freezer was placed on the top of the stack, while a large TV was placed on the bottom of the stack. The freezer works, although it is scratched up. I have not yet unboxed the TV. The stand for my coffee table was broken (and it is an family heirloom). However, I can fix it. There is a whole through one of my office chairs, but it is not an expensive chair. One of my living room chairs had a tear that I was able to fix. Many boxes have been crushed.

3. NOBODY called me and told me that I owed additional money because I had gone over the alotted square feet. Therefore, when the movers showed up early in the morning, I was told that I needed to give them nearly $1k in cash, which I obviously did not have on me. Therefore, I had to call Chris (or Luke) and get the account information to wire money to the company. Then we all had to wait over two hours until the wire could be confirmed so that the movers could start unloading. I understand that I would owe if I went over the cubic feet that I paid for, although I have no way to confirm that I did. However, I should have been called several weeks ago and notified of this so that I could have cash on hand to pay. This was very POORLY done.

Thus, I got a budget move. My stuff went from one place to another, but some was damaged in the process. In the future, I will pay more to get a better move from a certified company. I will not use this company again.

My wife made the review below- here is an update as well as what we had to supple to the insurance claim to try to get all of our belongings repaired.

My claim, unfortunately covers a number of different areas. I paid for a full service move. I was originally quoted $1300 for this move and after the movers packed up all of my things this price increased to $2100. I was assured that there was a guarantee that my things would be in here 10 days. Two weeks later- I'm now receiving my things. My husband and I have had to take off work on three separate occasions to be here for delivery times that they had arranged and then never brought them. The first occasion- they had called me to say they would be here at 9 because he overslept and was running late and then I never heard back from him. When I spoke with Mike- who claims to be a manager he informed me that the reason my delivery could not be made was because the mover had a prior felony charge and couldn't get on the army base that we live on. They were aware of the address of the move the entire time- this should not have been an issue. On a more personal level Mike then went as far as to saying he was sure everyone in the army wasn't "clean" which was very inappropriate and disrespectful to my husband who has served nearly ten years. He told us that they would open a storage unit off of base and we could move it the rest of the way for $1000. After the catastrophe everything else has been I wasn't comfortable moving the rest of my things ourselves in case there was damage to my items and I had a feeling they would claim they didn't do the damage not to mention they wanted near the whole amount due for not doing any of the service. He then told me that the ten day guarantee was void because the movers couldn't get on base and that was our fault and that he wasn't inclined to help me because I already left him a bad review online. When calling their company, daily it seemed as though our calls were being screened. We were unable to get in touch with anyone regarding our concerns for this move and when I did get someone on the line-it was a different person every time all claiming to be the manager- they were disrespectful and rude.
Now here we are two weeks later- my things have been delivered and nearly every piece of furniture that they touched has been damaged. One of my tables is missing handles, and one is just blatantly broken off, the fabric on the couch is torn, the armrest on my loveseat is scratched, my washer and dryer are scratched, my bedroom furniture has the corners chipped off of one dresser and the night stand, one of the bedroom dressers knobs has been smashed into the dresser- making a whole in the wood, bolts from my kitchen table missing, I called to discuss this with Mike- or literally any other manager today while I spoke with him I addressed the fact that when the movers got here they told us that they didn't put the furniture together that the guys who did that were busy, and that I paid him for a full service move and that service was not provided and said he would not be reimbursing me for anything and hung up the phone. Oh and the icing on the cake- one of the movers stole a 9 ft phone charger while they were in the house.

Arrived 3 days late to pick up.
Did not blanket wrap.
Damaged 63 pieces of fine furniture. Suppose to move 11,000 lbs. Truck to small. Moved 7000 and did not reimburse for lost weight.
Paid only $78.00 for extensive damage.
Arrived week later than scheduled with no notification.
Terrible incompetent labor. One left and we waited another day for someone else to show up.

Crooks, criminals and thieves! Do not use this company for anything you are sure to regret it! Our furniture was supposed to be delivered within 48 hours we received it 3 weeks later and the crooks tried to make us pay $200 more than what we owed! And when our belongings finally came what wasn't broken or damaged just wasn't there at all! Please choose another company save yourself the mental anguish! And response to the lie below we were absolutely customers and would be more than happy to show receipts. Did I mention they were liars also. Smh

I scheduled for moving from Michigan to Texas for June 10-11. They called me on June 9 and scheduled it for June 10 between 9-12 am. Unfortunately, they did not show up and did not response my calls. They sent a truck on June 14 and asked me for more than 1200$ more. I did not let them to load my stuffs.
