The best way to kiss the Old Year adieu is with chocolate. All I wanted was a muffin but found the CHOCOLATE BOMB. Packed with chocolate mousse and a touch of cheesecake at foundation. It was love at first spoonful. Mike's supplies spoons for chocolate addicts like me. The delectable mound of chocolate desire never made it home. I will dream sweetly tonight. THANK YOU MIKE'S BAKERY! I AM SO IN LOVE!

Thrilled with how my daughters birthday cake turned out. It was absolutely perfect for a little girl in love with cheetahs. It was incredibly delicious too and so glad we went with fresh fruit in between the layers. It was a perfect combination of flavors and the vanilla cake itself was so delicious.

Our wedding cake that Mike's Bakery made was absolutely perfect. They were able to take my vision and make it a reality.

I am excited to share my review of Mike’s bakery. I have lived in Texas since 1969. I moved from Milwaukee, where there were incredible German bakeries. The pastries we get in grocery stores here really can’t compare with what I had growing up. I ordered a couple of danishes this morning from Mike’s. There is a huge difference between fresh pastries made by a master baker and mass produced bakery. There is no life or love in the latter. Mike’s textures and flavors (got two different kinds) transported me back to my childhood. This wasn’t just something for breakfast, this was a love letter from a master baker to his customers. I don’t typically wax poetic over food. This was a rare experience and delight I had to share. I called to compliment him. He was trained by German bakers to the point I could recognize it in taste and texture. You will not be disappointed. Get there in the morning for a transformative treat. Thank you, Mike.

Mike’s was awesome!!! Ordered their b&w cake with instructions for writing on it; along with a couple other pastries after they had closed through uber eats, from another state to be delivered near Mike’s Bakery. The cake turned out amazing and they did just as I described in the written instructions and had it there in the allotted time slot (which only gave them a few hours to make as I ordered for following day after they had closed).

First time we ever went was this afternoon, delicious. Had low expectations cause nobody knows how to make a good creme brulee/cannoli and theirs was perfect. Very happy and definitely coming back to try more. Mom loved the cheese danish too. Everything was great.

Mike was awesome!!! The desserts were out of this world and he put a smile on all our faces!

They delivered me 2 cream brûlée with NO burned sugar on top. Basically two small aluminum cups filled with custard.... ridiculous. When I called to tell them, the chick working said “you can bring them in and we’ll put the sugar on top for you.” Yeah, just what I want to do. Pay tons of extra fees to have something DELIVERED, and then have to drive to get it corrected.
I can’t give them less than five stars because their food is so goood. Owner and wife are very nice people as well.

Oh my God, can’t believe finally found the best bakery in DFW. I found this bakery on my way to school. The owners are so nice, and friendly. Their cakes and pastries taste the pest. NY Cheesecake is a must to try! This business needs to be recognized by more people. They have brought their 50 years of expertise in bakery all the wary from New Jersey to DFW. I will definitely recommend you guys to my friends. They are originally from Europe and I noticed that when I saw a couple of pastries that are originally from Europe and Middle East which never seen them in any other store in this quality.

Such a great bakery! We had an Oreo cheesecake for my husband's birthday and it was amazing! Tasted like the best homemade, not too sweet, very rich and a little tangy. So thrilled. I was there to pick up and ended up with a big danish ring too. Perfection!! And affordable.

Price is on the higher end but I have never been disappointed! My favorite is their strawberry cheesecake but everything they sell is delightful. A must have for any event! Don't forget to try their macaroons and cupcakes! Soooo good. Their only real competition in quality is Candy Haven in denton so don't pass up Mike's Bakery and give them a shot! I guarantee you anything you get will be 💯% worth it!

Mike’s has my favorite gingerbread men in all the Lake Cities! It’s a real delight to pop in for sweets and treats and shopping nearby.

Stopped by this slice of heaven on a visit with family. Came highly recommended and was not disappointed! Had some pecan sandies and some Italian wedding cookies. So delicious and melt in your mouth! Also had a taste of the cream cheese danish, so yum! You gotta try this place!! I'll certainly be back!

I had a surprise retirement dinner for my husband. My daughter took charge of getting the cake for me and mentioned a bakery by her. Mike’s Bakery had great reviews so I had her order from there. I was not disappointed, the cake was awesome! It was a small gathering so I had plenty of cake and sent cake home with everyone. We just finished ours last night. It was just as good on day 5 as it was on day 1. If I need another cake, will definitely order from here again.

We have frequented Mike's since they opened and are always impressed! Cookies, cannoli, cupcakes, pecan pie.... its all excellent! This last week it was the most magnificent of them all.....a coconut cream birthday pie. The best I have ever tasted. Thank you Mike, we appreciate your culinary skills!!

There were NO Brooklyn style bakeries here until Mike opened up. Cakes (ready or custom made), pastries, cannolis that rival Ferrara's on Grand St. in Manhattan just like home, but without leftist idiots around. Quality ingredients fresh from scratch. I watched him work once from by the end of the counter. If the door is open you know Mike is baking. Great guy. Great employees too.

I live out of town but was coming to Denton for my daughter's birthday. I called 8 bakeries before finding a bakery that would make my daughter's favorite cake. A layer of choc and a layer of vanilla with cannoli filling and whipped cream frosting. The cake was fresh and delicious! It was the hit of the party. I highly recommend Mike's bakery.

The cheese danish was the absolute best pastry I’ve ever had! My husband had the crumb cake, and it was fantastic. The best of all was the strawberry cheesecake I got for my dad’s 80th- can’t believe we have a treasure like this here!
