Sweetsie Bakery & Café

I have been thinking about trying this place for some time for the rolled ice cream, NEVER knew they had FOOD FOOD!!! Lol. The place was very clean. The staff was SUPER friendly. Wait time was excellent. The food was AMAZING!!!! I had the Shrimp Panini Chipotle Style and Sweet Potato Fries; very fresh, flavors were delicious. Most DEFINITELY going back! My husband REALLY liked the Steak Panini as well! I recommend this place for all to visit.

Oh my goodness. I know I am late to the game but I finally tried this place out. WOW. The food is really good. Sandwiches, salads, paninis and I know it sounds weird but egg rolls. Not your usuall egg rolls, I'm talking out philly cheese steak egg rolls, pepperoni egg rolls, just to name a couple. Then the cookies and pies are amazing. Did I mention rolled ice cream. Go to this place. Go now.

If you’re a fan of warm sandwiches and sweet treats, you have to try Sweetsie Bakery & Cafe! I’m a huge fan of the RYG panini and the sweet potato fries. My wife absolutely loves the Greek Salad with shrimp and the egg rolls. I like this place so much that anytime I have out of state real estate buyers in town, I always recommend Sweetsie Bakery & Cafe. If we have time I try to swing by and grab a quick bite to show them the local flavor. This place is consistently consistent.

Update: After the meeting, went and got the pepperoni pizza, soul roll, and cheeseburger egg rolls. Got 3 so I could "share" with my hubby. They may not make it home for sharing. Sorry hun!! 🥰😜

OMG! I am at a meeting where Sweetsie catered. I am not a fan of eggs. However, I thought I would still try the steak and egg and ham and egg egg rolls. They were awesome!! I didn't even remember I was eating eggs. AMAZING And I also had a peach "cookie". Indescribably delicious!! I don't wanna look gluttonous and go get another cookie!

LOVE THIS PLACE! I was looking for some sweets to eat and found this place on Google. We started out with lemon cookies, and peach cobbler cookies and they were so good that I sent my husband back to get me more cookies. He came home with the Cajun creation egg roll and that was incredible! Now, he’s on a mission to try all of their egg rolls. Today, he got the soul roll and he loved it. The place is clean and the customer service is wonderful! Highly recommend this place!

The young lady was very warm. She helped me to pick a cookie. It was lite, soft , not to sweet. It was pecan chewy. Love. Love the package.

I had their delicious Philly Cheesesteak Egg rolls. They serve hand rolled ice cream, salad, sandwiches and many selection of egg rolls.

I found this place by accident and Ordered the Egg Roll plate with Fries.... So glad I did. The Best Egg Rolls hands down!! Love, Love the Soul Roll - Brisket with Collar Greens and Asian Chicken. You must give this place a try, you won’t Be disappointed. Got the rest of my family hook on their handmade Egg rolls.

I lived in this area for 2 years and discovered this place literally a week before I was moving out. I went there for the first time and wanted to try everything!!! The salad was mediocre but I didn't go for the food...the chewy butter pecan cookie was everything!!! The ice cream was everything. I also tried the buffalo chicken egg rolls which were delicious!!! I wish I had taken pictures but I was so anxious I went right in! I will definitely upload photos next time. This is a definite place to go to!!!

I was finally able to visit Sweetsie Bakery & Cafe last week and I must say...I was blown away. The property itself is inviting, I really liked the branded tables. The lighting was perfect. The set up of the place beats any Starbucks you've ever been to...and they provide free wifi! Enough about the decor...I tried to the sweet potato pie and it was DELICIOUS! Didn't even have to wait for my grandmother to throw down on Thanksgiving. The eats and sweets seemed endless and I'll definitely be back to try the hand rolled ice cream!

I’m so happy I came across this little café. They have the BEST chocolate chip cookies!! I dream of them now. I also had their lemon pie and if you are a lemon fan it truly is a must try!! Happy with the service too. Will definitely be coming back to try more because those egg rolls are calling me.

Sweetsie is amazing! First off the inside is cute and each table has the logo painted on there. And secondly the food is delicious! The first time I went was for the rolled ice cream. The only other place in this area that I know of that serves rolled ice cream is in Deep Ellum. It was super yummy! The other day I ordered from Sweetsie on uber eats and got the egg roll meal which is 3 egg rolls, a side, and drink. I got the chipotle chicken egg rolls with chipotle lime sauce, fries, and sweet tea. Everything was perfect! It was so filling that I saved 1 egg roll for later and it even reheated well in the microwave. You can tell that they take time to present their food and that it’s fresh. I also had a lemon chess pie for desert and it was great! I’ll definitely be eating Sweetsie more often! It’s super important to support black owned businesses as well.

My husband and I ordered Eggroll combos from here on UberEats. It was so good! The egg rolls were big, fresh, and filling. Each combo came with 3 egg rolls, fries, and a drink. I had the philly cheesesteak, asian chicken, and vegan V-brat and cabbage egg rolls. They were so good and fresh. The fries and tea were good as well. I had pecan pie for dessert. It was FULL of chopped pecans... so good. Give them a try!

We were greeted with a smile and given a full rundown of the menu items when we entered. The staff was kind, knowledgeable and invested in our experience as customers. I recommend the Soul Roll for any first time visitors. We will definitely be repeat customers.

When I’m in the mood for savory vegan food, this is one of my top picks! The vegan & vegetarian egg rolls are super good & aren’t too heavy or greasy so I don’t get sick. My family is always eating off my place & the French dressing is soooo good!!!

Nice lil bakery! It was my first time stopping by and I loved being greeted with a warm welcome and smiles. I asked the young lady what she recommended. She was very knowledgeable of the offerings/products. I bought a mini pecan pie. My son and I both enjoyed it.

Everything on the menu is great! I can’t stop going .. this is my new favorite cafe. Even have an espresso machine, coffee and latte! I can come here to study between classes and enjoy and new latte. The owner (Brittany) is a sweet heart just like her cafe too. Great energy and great vibes!

Found this gem accidently with my son! We came back with the entire family!!! Our goal is to make it through the entire menu. The salads, sandwiches and egg rolls we excellent! Very unique combinations of eggs rolls that were simply delicious!
