The AAFES/Exchange store at this location is inside a security fence and another check point and is intended primarily for employees.
It is a small convenience store with snacks, drinks, and a few other things - most definitely not a "surplus store". Other Exchange stores are full fledged department stores and are located on military installations.

Called customer service spoke with, Gryfon B. And let me just say I have worked in the Customer Service field my entire life (40 years) and this young lady‘s customer service skills are phenomenal! Do not lose this employee whatever you do! She has earned her 5 stars and then some!⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ thank you Gryfon for getting back with my husband and I in regards to our daughters’ mattress, again, you did an exceptional job, going above and beyond! we wish they were more customer service representatives in the world like you keep shining your star/light so bright!

I worked here for 4 years and I loved it and all the people I worked with. I ended up moving out of state and quit. I miss it and the people. My husband was in the Army and I loved going on post to the PX, especially when over seas. The employees at HQ work diligently to keep the merchandise stocked and up to date at all the stores.

Awesome customer service! Friendly people! The exchange mart is small more like a huge convenience store but enough for everyday needs!

Ms. Susan K. Johnston is an Exceptional Optical technician and superb customer service Manager. Amazingly she smiles, answers phones, talks to customers and simultaneously provides professional services.

AAFES is in business to make items available to military members worldwide. If you can find a cheaper price at your local Walmart then go there. They can't always have rock bottom prices on everything because they have to ship items to garden spots like Afghanistan and other FOBs. When did Walmart ever do that?

Also, unless a military base is completely closed, the AAFES location stays open even if operating at a loss in order to provide service to the people they serve. Walmart and other providers will just close the store and move on. Think before you bash.

If you're active or retired military, the HQ building has a great little shoppette that's open weekdays, normal 8 - 5 hours.

Friendly associates, there every day, always ready to help.

Other Exchange stores are full fledged department stores and are located on military installations.

Place not easy to find. Once you do though employees and security very helpful and nice. A small exchange.
