First I had a very positive experience I left my credit card from the card reader and they immediately returned it to me. No matter what I give them as a food review you're going to get five 🤩 for that. Inside this place is pretty big and decorated with old school billboards and the music is old school. Note: At this time they don't seem to take cash so bring your credit card. The food was extremely delicious 🤤 just wish I could have eaten more 😋. There is a lot of parking spaces at this location 🛻🚗🚙🏍. This place will get busy quickly around lunch and dinner time 👍. You must try this place for yourself at least once.

We had a great visit at Lucky’s!! I love their new wings. They still have all your favorites including the Big Lou, Chicken & Red Velvet Waffles but added new items on the menu.

This is an awesome place well worth any drive you would need to take. It's got an old school diner atmosphere. The food is great. The spice level isn't a joke. But best of all, you get a free ice cream

I own a business around the corner and was excited when this first opened here, That was my first time and last time in there. 5/12/24 Thought I would try it once again and got the garlic parmesan chicken tenders and okra, which the menu looks all new compared to the first time, the chicken was delicious and the Okra was really good. I am impressed.

It's good. I got the "Lucky AF" spice, and it had some heat. There is one hotter i might one day try. The red velvet waffle was good.
Carlos was so nice. The whole team was nice. I will be back.

When here 1228 at 2:00 had lunch with my cousins. The food was good amazing but the service is what stood out to me the cashier and also one young lady who brought our food was very friendly patient just super nice. I had the chicken and waffle combo and it was amazing I love the red velvet waffles but the chicken was very good not dried out very crispy when they said none spicy it was not spicy which I like that because sometimes people say stuff is not spicy and it is I recommend this restaurant.

I've always had an obsession with chicken strips at a lot of great places. We have all enjoyed the rest of them, but this place is an astronaught leap above the rest. I would suggest ordering the red velvet chicken & waffles with *Best of Luck* heat level. It's not as hot as they claim it to be, but I find it to be the perfect amount of great flavor and spice. It's not like you're still dying an hour later like those concentrated capsaicin sauces. It's basically a slightly less hot version of real Nashville chicken. I really enjoyed it so much and I will be back to buy two chicken & waffles for myself.

Lucky’s is great - they’ve been a regular for me since I moved to Dallas 8 months ago. I’ve eaten inside 3 or 4 times and gotten takeout; after their management changed a few months ago, the food really improved. The service is quick and friendly, the restaurant is simple but clean and has a really cool 50s rock atmosphere. The chicken has the spice and texture you expect from a place specializing in hot chicken, the foods served piping hot, their in-house sauce is really unique (in a very good way) and distinctly different from Cane’s sauce or comeback sauce. Great bread and sides too, the prices are fair, really neat hot chicken spot. Absolutely check this place out if you are near uptown, downtown or East Dallas.

Always loved luckys since moving to Dallas. One of the best hot chicken spots around. Only complaint is ever since the new management took over the prices have gone up almost $3 per item. Still worth coming

I got the medium heat chicken sandwich and ate everything off my plate. The atmosphere was nice and they have a great photo wall if you want to take some Instagram photos.

Let me start by saying this is a “CASH FREE” establishment! So please bring your plastic or use the pay by phone method. I was unaware of that being this was my 1st visit. The sign is on the door but on the very bottom half instead of up in eye view. The lobby could’ve been attended to as we had a hard time finding clean seating. Everything was pretty good though and made to order. Very good portions of food for the price. Customer service was great & there is a sweet treat(🍦) free of charge with every meal. 🙃

Hands down the best tenders and fries I have ever had (and I don’t say this lightly). Juicy, flavorful, very well seasoned tenders. Howlin fries are also to die for. Love the atmosphere & free soft serve!

I literally came back less than a few days! That should say it all! Anyway every one of their employees is personable and positive!! The GM Dena was suppppppperrrr nice and provided top tier service towards me !! I tried the chicken and waffles this time ( only available on Saturdays) and it’s too good!!! I love the color of them , it matches the vibes and color scheme in the restaurant. I am completely satisfied and will be back . HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Really good Nashville Hot Chicken.
I usually prefer my hot chicken on the bone but I found the chicken tenders here very tasty. Having tried the top 3 hottest spice levels, Damn Lucky is my favorite. It’s got some great heat to it but it’s not overwhelming hot.

I really enjoyed the Mac & cheese. Rich & creamy.
The buttery Texas Toast was also a delicious delight.

If there were a Lucky’s close to me, I’d definitely eat here again. Prices are fair and the food is great.
You owe it to yourself to stop on it and get yourself some chicken.

Stopped in for lunch. Restaurant was sparkling clean. Customer service was great. Cashier was helpful and patient while we selected from the menu. Food was fresh and came out very fast. We loved the Chicken, Toast, and Lemonade.

FYI they only serve waffles on the weekend and they do not accept cash

If you want to try to get good chicken or chicken sandwiches, this is the place to go.

But don’t spoil or destroy your food even by trying the medium hot spice. Try the lowest one. You won’t regret.

I thought I can handle spicy food. This place made me wrong. So don’t even try. Their velvet waffle was really really good. Chicken tenders and the sandwiches were outstanding.

Pleasantly surprised! My bf has been wanting to take me here for awhile and I can see why. Menu is minimal but for good reason. You either get a chicken sandwich or chicken tenders and the flavor is delicious! The spice levels are real so be careful 😉

I got the Damn Lucky (medium hot) tenders, and they were just the right amount of spicy. They were good! And seasoned fries were good too!
My boyfriend got the Lucky AF (really hot) chicken with waffles, and the chicken was SPICY, he was unable to eat them.. it was a huge difference between both choices. And even the waffles were a bit spicy!

Some of the BEST chicken I've ever eaten! The breading is crispy but the chicken was moist - incredible. Great, friendly service and loved the atmosphere!
