Vibra Specialty Hospital at DeSoto

My Aunt was in this hospital for about 5 weeks and they took great care of her. She had some issues that really needed daily attention and my Aunt was able to get that attention she needed. The staff, doctors, nurses and all were Awesome. I also had a few in depth questions about my Aunt and I was connected with the the Chief Clinical Officer Mrs. Mae Weathersby and she answered all my questions and gave awesome help too!! I highly recommend this hospital.

All of the staff that works for Mae Weathersby are ALL welcoming, my uncle fell ill to cancer and this hit too close to home for us, the staff was very patient and kindhearted and guided us through this journey and even supported us to continuing more physical therapy it’s bittersweet because I got so use to the team here, I hope we can be a successful story like the others. 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽❤‍🩹 thanks to all the staff at Vibra and may God continue to bless everyone for your compassion and empathy you have for your patients.

I had the privilege of visiting a friend at Vibra DeSoto. The staff was very attentive and went over and beyond to ensure his comfort. The rooms were very clean and well maintained. I was really impressed with the overall care

I stayed here for a month and it was a wonderful experience. I would definitely recommend Vibra DeSoto to anyone needing an extended hospital. The staff are exceptional. They are efficient in completing your every task and request. My social worker Krista moved several mountains for me while there. Any concerns or pain I was in was taken care of the same day. The nurses and techs made my stay comfortable and fun. I was well taken care of thanks to so many wonderful people. This is a place of healing and growth. A place were you see the true heart and honesty of the healthcare profession. If I was feeling down they helped lift my spirits. The only complaint I have is that I had to leave to continue my health care journey. Thanks Vibra for everything.

I've been here for more than a month, and I must say the entire Staff has met or exceeded my expectations. My requests are fulfilled promptly & without complaint. Many have even anticipated my needs & supplied something before I even asked. The food was good & served in a timely, cheerful manner.
While I hope I won't need their services again.... if I should, I would consider myself lucky to come back here!

As a social worker in the nursing industry, I can recommend Vibra Specialty Hospital in good conscience to anyone seeking acute nursing care and rehabilitation for themselves or a loved one. The staff and leadership are knowledgeable and proficient. Customer service is top notch!

UPDATE 12Mar23 Talk about care and loyalty. Ms. Weathersby is still caring for my niece who had a stroke, weeks after moving from Vibra. During her own time, Ms. Weathersby answered questions and gave great advice by sharing her insight into policy and procedures once a patient's insurance changes treatment options.
She is absolutely wonderful.

May Weathersby, Chief Clinical Officer, proved she "has your back" by helping navigate a touchy situation between ex-spouses who love and care about a mutual daughter with a long-term health problem in her immediate future. The Desoto facility personnel have performed in an exemplary manner. Because my niece lives so far away, and it is an expensive prospect for her mother to be in the Dallas area away from home, she relies on frequent telephonic updates to feel she is getting adequate information about her youngest daughter. Thankfully, Ms. Weatherby is helping to allay fears and is comforting to the family. That, along with the best care available in that area, I know my niece and her mother (who is my sister, by the way) will come through this fine. Thank you, Ms. Weatherby! <3 <3 <3

My family just want to say, Thank you to everyone from the receptionist to housekeeping❤❤ For keeping a smile on Grandmother’s face! Every time we went to visit she was in good spirits, which is very important to her recovery. Everything went smoothly from admission to discharge🙏🏽. Love this place

I can not begin to give this hospital enough stars!!! Every single staff member from the Drs. to the wonderful people who clean are wonderful!!! The Nurse's every single one were attentive, pleasant, professional,loving and kind!!!! They went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. If we had to call them, they came within 5 minutes!! And what is usually a gripe with most people is the food. I have never had better food. It was delicious every single time! I'm not lying it was good! We were here for 2 weeks. And for long term care I highly recommend this place for you!!!!

I took my father to Vibra Specialty Hospital at DeSoto for his first and second Covid-19 vaccine shots. I was very impressed with the staff, they were friendly and of course professional. There were no waiting lines, which was a surprise to me. In fact, on each visit the nurse administered the shots in less than 5 minutes upon our arrival. Also the location was very convenient.

Today is my first visit here, my first impression of the facility when I walked in was that it was a Nursing Home facility because that's exactly what it smells like. Every staff member was very friendly and courteous. The staff that was tending to my mothers care was great. My mother don't say much but she mentioned how friendly they all were as soon as I arrived. Overall they are all angels as far as I am concerned, they are a true blessing and we are greatful for their service.

We had a lot of concerns our first few days, but I have to give it to them, as soon as I voiced my concerns management went above and beyond and got everything perfect! I’m really impressed with the level of care and how serious management takes the families concerns and feedback. They have followed up via text, phone calls, and even have the upper management stopping by my loved ones room to check on him personally.

This hospital makes you feel like you are at home and treat you like family. The food is great! I have been in and out of the hospital for the last 2 years. Vibra is one of the best hospitals I have been in. All of the staff were so caring. The care I received was excellent.

I visited Vibra today to get a COVID vaccine for myself and my mother. What a wonderful experience! Crystal administered the shot, May helped facilitate the paperwork and logistics and Ms Carla helped us sign in and directed us. You will not find a friendlier staff!!!

If you need a doctor or to get your vaccine, then you should visit this group!!! I highly recommend Vibra Specialty Hospital of DeSoto!

Extremely caring and patient staff. My mom received great care while beginning her physical therapy here. The entire staff was very considerate and professional. They seemed to enjoy their jobs and were good at motivating my mom to work hard at learning how to extend her range of motion in order to give her a more independent and fulfilling life. Thank you to everyone who treated my mom as if she were one of their family members!

Vibra Desoto held a Covid testing clinic. I just finished my second round yesterday. I was in/out in minutes. This was well coordinated and organized from start to finish. The staff were professional, kind, caring and friendly.
Comforting to see staff members work@ this level....can only imagine how good this carries over to actual hospital patients. Thanks May & to all your staff on a great experience!

I, Luther Edwards III, recently needed the services of a wound care hospital. Vibra Specialty Hospital came highly recommended. I found the staff to be both friendly and professional. I stayed with them from August 4th to September 3rd, long enough to discover the "good and the bad". Because of the length of my stay, Vibra allowed my wife to be with me to farther help with my emotional healing. We discovered that every staff member handled our dramatic and fearful situation as if we were one of their family.Names like Robin, Christina, Kiara, Gloria, Francis, Geraldine Ben and many many others comes to mind. People who went the extra mile; even the members of housekeeping. They cared about our pain and worked hard to provide the best solution. At one time, four specialist were monitoring my case, kidney, wound, infectious and diabetes doctors. They all kept me well treated and informed. Vibra worked hard to ensure that my wound improved quickly and thoroughly. Although my injury was long and painful, I experienced the "good" side of Vibra and I do highly recommend them.
