Jackie's Bar and Grill

The private holiday party I attended was well executed, staffed, decorated and the atmosphere was so upbeat! The food was fresh and delicious, the servers were professional and fun and the bartenders were top notch.

Jackie’s Bar & Grill is definitely worth a try if you’re in the Kemah area. It’s conveniently located away from the boardwalk, there is ample parking available, and the restaurant in general is HUGE. My boyfriend and I tried the Philly Cheesesteak and the Hot Honey Chicken Sandwich (the star of the show in my opinion.) The cheesesteak was huge and could feed an army, I’d say it was good but not the greatest- it was slightly bland however I wouldn’t say I was disappointed, I’ve just had better. The chicken sandwich was delicious, definitely on the spicier side, and something I’m sure we’ll order again. Our server was so friendly and helpful, I wish I remembered her name because she gave excellent service throughout our visit. There was live music outside which everyone seemed to enjoy (we sat inside.) We had a round of beers then I ordered the Cajun Lemonade which is definitely on the sweeter side- if that’s what you enjoy I’d recommend it. All in all we had a great time and can’t wait to try the rest of the menu!

Loved the grilled oysters on the half shell, crawfish with garlic 🧄 and extra hot spice were great, the potatoes were great too

Great food, as always. Attentive wait staff, even when served by bartender. BAHFL receive 10% off!

Had an awesome dinner here! Staff was super friendly and attentive. The place is huge! Great live music and patio outside. We dined al fresco until a storm came in, but our waitress kindly warned us & said she could take care of us inside.

I had their Nashville hot chicken with fried jalapeños on top. Chicken was cooked to perfection & the breading was on point. It wasn't spicy enough to my liking. Not a fan of the sweetness from the honey. Sweet potato fries were tasty. My husband enjoyed their crawfish & crab boil. He got the boil spicy, and that was my jam! Crawfish and crab were cooked perfectly. Definitely excellent heat level. He said this was the best boil he had this year. Our daughter had their side order mac & cheese for dinner with a fruit side. It was homemade, cheesy, goodness. Overall, cool spot & we will return!

We had reservations for a 21st birthday party and when we got there they were very attentive, friendly and fast! The place was PACKED and there were reservations for the same table later on yet we never felt rushed to hurry! Great place, great food, great atmosphere and COLD BEER! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Bang Bang Shimo and combo bunker was very good. Was a large portion for us.

They lowered the music volume at our request had great service, really great food and drinks, had a wonderful time with the folks

This was my 2nd time here. It was different this time. Im not sure if the AC not working made it difficult for the employees to be friendly, or it was just not a good day. We weren't greeted, helped with seating (almost all tables were reserved), our drinks took a while to get to us, and our sodas were flat. The food wasn't as good as the last time I visited. I will say the food came out fast, the restrooms were clean, there was hood live music on the patio and we were thanked for coming. I will always give places chances, especially because we live the Cracklin' with queso. Im hoping it was just the AC issue for the issue.

Great place- amazing crawfish. Nice outdoor area. Live music and good service. Definitely returning. Pet friendly in the outdoor area. Lots of great drink and food specials every day of the week.

Live band, plenty of parking, family friendly, plenty of seats, even games and pool tables. The food was awesome. Highly recommend the crawfish, they were all good size not a small one in the pot. The spicy garlic was just enough kick to match my craving. Will be coming back when I'm in the area.

Great atmosphere inside and outside . Pretty big place and good entertainment , staff and food. Went there for midget wrestling and had a great time. Only suggestion I have is if there is a big event there , go early. Parking can get kind of crazy. Lots of parking but for big events concerts it will get full.

My husband and I tried Jackie's Brickhouse for the first time on August 14th, even though we've lived in the area over 6 years, driven past it many times and never even went as far as looking up their menu. That all changed really quick! We will 100% be back again and again! From the wonderful, quick, efficient service, to the AMAZING FOOD!! It was even a hit for my 2 year old that recently decided he hates everything 😅 He had the grilled cheese & Sweet potato fries.
We had the fried broccoli to start- OMG. Hands down AMAZING! The breading was so good!
I ordered a medium thin crust Margherita pizza(expecting to take home some leftovers 😉), and It was amazing! My husband ordered the B.A.T. (big a** taco) & let me tell you, that was a BIG A** Taco! Stuffed with chicken, Pico, French fries, and more..

Last Friday, Sept 10th we decided to venture out for a little day date while our son was in preschool. And although I wanted to get the fried broccoli and the Margherita pizza AGAIN, I opted to try something new. We got the fried peppers & pickles and ordered their veggie pizza (thin crust) and I added Canadian bacon to it. Such an amazing experience and just like last time, we can't wait to try it again!

Had a wonderful night out with family. Live music was amazing. Great service and good food. The atmosphere is fun and great for a mix of crowd from old to young. The dance floor was open to all ages and dance styles !

Dylan W. was amazing. He greeted us immediately when we sat down, checked on us many times and was very personable! The food was great as always, but the service was top notch this visit!

First time trying this place last night. Came for a live show and decided to try the food. I tried the fried mushrooms which were fabulous along with a dozen baked cajun oysters. The oysters were mediocre. They were cooked with an over abundance of shredded cheese which got cold and rubbery. And the seafood gumbo I ordered came to me luke warm and very thick. Overall the staff was very friendly and helpful and very prompt with everything. I'll definitely come back again to try different things on the menu.
Update:
Back at the Brickhouse. Tried the chicken fried steak. I have to say it's the bomb! Super hot and fresh and generous portion. Not disappointed one bit. The steak is so soft and tender you don't even need a knife to cut it!

Fantastic place to unwind, listen to some live music, have a drink and some good food. Service has always been great here. We love sitting on the patio but the inside is great as well. Wednesday is steak and whiskey night. The steak is very flavorful and has always been cooked the way we ordered it. We also love the pizza here. Jackies never disapoints.

Great Restaurant/ Venue! Very large inside. Lots of tables, choice of seating on patio, live music area with bar, inside. Side inside area with bar. You can still dine and not be in the middle of the live music crowd. Patio has a cool bar and is pet friendly. We saw a lady with a lizard there lol, lots of TVs and umbrella tables. Patio out front with no TVs or music, great if your wanting a chill dinner no music or crowds. Poll tables, games. Prices are fair. Food is great, highly recommend the pizza.
Large portions. Great variety of drinks and beer, daily Happy Hour specials . Get this they even have a RV spots and cabins on the property! Very close to the Kemah Boardwalk and the water. It’s a must if your in the area.
Great sound system and stage for the many GREAT bands they have. The Daniel Holmes band was playing when we were there and they were awesome!

I came here a couple weekends ago after browsing a few pics and Googlereviews. A few things stood out for me, the menu, the $10 mimosa and the ambiance of the outdoor patio for eating. It also had live music!

When I arrived I grabbed one of the outdoor covered tables. It was a Sunday morning and it was time for brunch!  I was greeted promptly and served water along with a bottle of champagne and juice for the $10 mimosa we ordered. I ordered my food and enjoyed the life music while my food was being prepared.

I had ordered the Old School (Two eggs, with your choice of pan sausage or bacon and a homemade cheddar biscuit or toast). I chose pan sausage and a homemade cheddar biscuit to go with mine. Grits also came with it.  I'm not a fan of grits, so I won't speak on their grits. However the rest of my breakfast was amazing. My eggs were cook perfectly like I ordered them. My pan sausage was tasty, smaller than I expected however. The cheddar biscuit was delicious. Even the included fruit was fresh and sweet! I thoroughly enjoyed my meal. My date had ordered the chicken and waffles. The chicken was moist and perfectly fried and tasted good. The waffles was great in flavor.

My date and I enjoyed our eating experience at Jackie's Brickhouse. I definitely would recommend them for brunch and enjoy the included live music as well.

On a side note when I visited they had a bunch of old school cars for show in the front of the restaurant.

Loved the laid back atmosphere and staff! Sancho Smith was awesome!
