Aquarium Restaurant

Neat restaurant with an aquarium inside a round inner column tank. Although large, the fish are too, so you only see 15 or so: Fish, eel, spotted tiger shark. I think in a way a table outdoors may have been more interesting with a view of the water and live music outside at the boardwalk.

The food was better than I expected since I went in with a lower bar due to previous reviews.

Gluten free: salmon Caesar salad (no croutons), side of gf fries. They don’t have a gluten free menu but a server was pretty knowledgeable on the subject and helped me decide. This was the best meal I had while in Houston.

The staff was friendly and they weren’t busy. You can reserve a table in the Open Table app but don’t bother with notes or celebrations as they were ignored.

Food took longer than expected but was very good (except the calamari).

Went for breakfast with Santa and everything was amazing! The manager Rahman was a total doll and made sure the food was perfect! He checked on our table multiple times to see if we needed anything. Our server Andrea was an absolute pleasure! She made sure our experience was memorable. We will be coming back next year!!

Our waiter, Glen, was personable positive and very accommodaring during our visit. Offered substitutions for drinks due to the draft beer station being out of service that day. The food was timely delivered and well presented. Not at all cool either. The dessert, the 'gingerbread house', went down quite nicely. The cost of the meals was reasonable considering the quality of this establishment. Overall, it was a very enjoyable experience. Highly recommend the Aquarium to anyone.

The Aquarium restaurant in Kemah is absolutely gorgeous! I love the food! Great steaks, great seafood! Biggest attraction is that it is on the water and it has a three-story aquarium inside. Great for a romantic date and or great for just hanging out with the family, the kids will love it, my grand children do. This place has hosted dozens of our families Milestones for over 18 years. If you’ve never gone, you must see it for yourself!

It was amazing the restaurant was beautiful with an aquarium that had sharks and other huge fish I visited the aquarium with my granddaughter I got to pet and feed rays there was a large variety of fish and other anfibins to view they had a souvenir shop it was a amazing experience

Very fun place to take the kids after a day on the boardwalk. Food is just ok, nothing spectacular but the menu had a lot of options and everything at our table as at least decent. Service was excellent, no complaints there, and the atmosphere (including the giant aquarium in the center) was enjoyable for the children. The drinks were very good as well!

My husband and I traveled to this area for a quick getaway. We saw the restaurant listed on our Hilton hotel restaurant listing and thought it would be fun. We have been married for almost 33 years, but we are still young-at-heart. It was very nice and the food was absolutely delicious!!! Our server was awesome! He was very attentive, answered all of our questions, made suggestions and didn't miss a beat! He did a wonderful job and made our lunch even more enjoyable!! Based on our receipt, his name was Glenn (I am very bad at remembering names so I hope the correct name was listed).

The tanks and fish were so cool to see. We didn't visit the interactive sections with the sting rays, but I am sure they were probably just as nice. Since it was Spring Break, we made a reservation online. I am glad we did because there was a wait for others who didn't. Although there were many families with kids, it wasn't very loud and the children were well-behaved. Would love to bring my Grand-Sugar here one day. Great place to visit!!

My wife and I ate here one night for our honeymoon. The atmosphere here is almost unbeatable. The staff are all very friendly and knowledgeable both about the menu as well as the aquarium itself. Our drinks were never left empty and the server was not overbearing. The server recommended both meals and desserts and was able to assist with any questions we had. I had the cajun combo and my wife had the shrimp platter. The fish almost melted in your mouth and fell apart easily. All the breading had a very good flavor. The fish had a very strong taste and the grilled shrimp were a little bland, but overall the meal was very good.

This location had great service, great food, and a great view. The burger we had was extremely delicious and cooked the way we wanted. The calamari and main plate were delicious and didn't disappoint. Our server was great with communicating with us if something was not available, what we could substitute the food with. We were seated by the window with a nice view. It was a great time overall.

It was my first time going to this aquarium restaurant this place was beautiful from the inside and out very nice atmosphere.The food was great the dessert was delicious.Our waitress was very nice and helpful since we had never been so she went over the menu with us gave us some recommendations we ate there at the beginning of this month so I can’t remember her name but she was great.I think the prices are pretty good we spent around 110$/120$ for me and my husband I know that sounds like a lot for 2 people but we did order a good amount off food because we wanted to try different meals. Highly recommend for a nice dinner date.

Excellent service and delicious food. Our server “Chris” provided us with amazing service and great recommendations! The Castaway Combo had a little of everything, Shrimp Platter was awesome the shrimp enbrochette was delicious, but the Best plate was definitely the Red De Creole! It was right on point and had great flavor! Prices are definitely worth it! Great family experience!

Awesome food and atmosphere! Clean and well cared for fish in the aquarium. Being in an amusement park sometimes means high prices and low quality but not here. The prices are high but they are good portions and quality.

Perfect service, great food, right on the water.

Everything was very good. The scallops were a bit over cooked and the lobster was not hot. Overall we were satisfied and will be back. You get a nice amount of food for the price. My steak was cooked just as I asked, Medium-rare which some places get wrong. The views are very nice inside and outside...

We celebrated my girlfriends daughters birthday here and everyone was first class. We will be back.

Great family friendly atmosphere, cool fish and plenty for kids to be entertained. Welcomes walking around you don't have to stay stuffy in your seat. The food was delicious. I got the Ribeye rare and it was perfectly cooked not overdone like most places. The garlic potatoes are awesome. Walking distance from my hotel with some great distractions along the way throughout kemah boardwalk.

This restaurant was so so so elite. I had such a good time with my team here. The environment is super cool and nice to be in. Like I would literally be in here everyday if i lived here. The food was surprisingly good. I thought it would be cheap tasting like normal attraction restaurants, but I cleaned my plate. I got coconut shrimp and it was so so so yummy. The service here was good. Our waiter was a bit slow but super nicd. The servers helped us prank our sailing coach. It was cool. Anyways 10/10 experience would come everyday if I could

The Aquarium restaurant atmosphere and views were great. There were plenty of fish in the aquarium. The food was very good and the portion was good. I had the steak and shrimp with mash potatoes & mixed vegetables. My husband had the broiled seafood platter with rice and mixed veggies. My meal was good and my only suggestion would be a little more season on the steak. I added a little sea salt and made it just right. My husband enjoyed the seafood platter, although he did mention that he's had better lobster. Overall we were satisfied and the food was good. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.
