It was nice experience here , with a good food and atmosphere.
Seating area outside was so good looking to waterside.
Service was nice.
Food was prepared in a good way and they have fresh fish.🐠

Pick the seafood<==- they cook it on the spot 👌" fried" that is... nice location on top the water, fish was great, fresh! Shrimp was excellent! Nice experience.... plenty of space = can bring a group/ share food! *** little higher price though so I recommend to share to make sure you don't buy 2much like us.

All seafood is fresh and prepared instantly. They also sell frog legs and alligator meat. The eating space is enormous and very comfortable.

The vibe here is so laid back, but in the best way possible! From the fresh seafood selections, made to order, the beautiful sunsets, lapping water right outside the way… the only thing better is the company you choose to keep while patronizing this awesome place! 🥲 This place does not fail to deliver on the goods! Fresh, fresh, f-r-e-s-h!!!! 🤤 We sometimes even cast our fishing rod right outside afterwards, making it the perfect ending to our evening. 🎣 RECAP: The fried fish (red snapper and flounder is our favorite), fried jumbo shrimp, and crispy fries are THE GO-TO. 🙌

I recently discovered this amazing ocean-side restaurant that blew me away. The food is absolutely delicious with a wide selection to choose from. The service is top-notch, with attentive and friendly staff. The atmosphere is perfect, offering ocean views and a relaxing ambiance. I highly recommend giving this place a try. It's everything you'd expect from a fantastic ocean-side dining experience.

From a 6day cruise, went to pier 8.
It was the best food in a week and it was not even on the cruise.
Crunchy delicious fried fish, halabos na hipon, unplated calamares (so we got lots, unlike restaurat variety), sinigang na red snapper.

Fantastic. Came down from Mississippi to eat some good seafood.. Pier 8 was delicious. Great selection. Extremely fresh. Fried stuff is a lil dry but good. Maybe turn oil down a bit. Boiled Shrimp were a lil done but still good. For the price you get a ton of food.

It gets a little crowded on the weekend. GREAT FOOD.. best you can get everything is fresh you cant beat this ( you buy, we fry) food is excellent. Resturant is on the water overall wonderful place to eat its worth every penny. Its a bit pricey but very well worth it.

Delicious, quick, on the water so we could watch the gulls flying around. Very fairly priced for the amount of food and the freshness. It's all counter service. Wish we'd brought a cooler to take some seafood home with us!

The best mojarra (tilapia) I've had in a very very long time. Lots of meat on it, juicy and well cooked. Shrimp were absolutely delicious as well, huge and plump. Even the fries were delicious and not greasy. Parking is pretty bad, but you can park across the street.

At Pier 8 you select your own food to cook. It can be fish or shrimp. It took me about 20 minutes to get my food. The food was delicious and not too expensive. I wish the place was cleaner. It has a lot of potential if you update the inside and outside. Pier 8 is worth checking out!

The food was great as usual. Went on a Tuesday this time and it was very not-crowded. They put up some reflective bird deterring decorations but the birds still came anyway; I kind of like them and think it adds to the experience 🦅🕊🦜

Don't be intimidated and leave like the family in front of us.

Don't walk past it and look for a hostess/table/alternate entrance like we did 😂

Order your food at the market. What you see is what you are getting. It doesn't get much fresher than that...unless of course the fish is at the end of your hook!

You can order combos or you can be adventurous and order by the item.

Our family went all in. We ordered an entire flounder, 1 lb of shrimp, 1of of calamari, a large french fry, 4 egg rolls and a large fried rice. There was 4 of us and way more food than we could eat! Oh and 3 beers +2 cokes. Our total with tip was sub $90!

Everything was scrumptious, sauces were delivered right to our table, we had a spot overlooking the bay and it was gorgeous.

Absolutely recommend and the next time we're in Houston we'll be there!

We picked out 4 pounds of shrimp and had them fried up along with a large french fries and large hush puppies. It was all so good!

I have been coming to this seafood market for years & have my chosen seafood cooked as fried or in tamarind soup/ sinigang, a filipino dish. I always bring a cooler for freshly cleaned, raw seafood for take-home. The red snapper sinigang with spinach is absolutely soothing for the soul. I love the fried oyster in cocktail sauce. It brings me back to our family traditional dish of Fish or chicken tamarind soup with rice to complement the dish. The place has a venue for special event. Its location on the bay creates a great outdoor ambience.

I can't wait to come back! The freshest and most delicious seafood. Go prepared to buy and eat and buy again to bring home. Bring your cooler and your own drink and enjoy a sunny day eating fresh seafood.

Went for my grandpa and sisters birthday and the Food was awesome! The ladies were really nice. Everything was so damn good and fresh! The onion rings are to die for, fish was amazing along with the calamari! We brought our own drinks which was really cool! Def will be visiting again!
