I bought a 2004 acura mdx from them and it is a solid vehicle and they sold it to me at a fair price. My tags expired due to not sending the ttl in time, and they were super helpful getting me some new tenporary tags, if they ever have a car i like i will definitely be buying from them again, great customer service, super impressed.

AVOID this place please! My son’s car broke down a few days after he got it and now we have to get him a rental car to get back and forth to work! They sell junk to young people who are just trying to get their lives in order. I hope this helps others not waste their money here!

If I could give a negative star review, I would. I met with Starsky, the Sales Manager of Prestige of Sugarland. I purchased a 2001 Toyota Corolla from him with 92,500 miles. He said "he checked the car, and it drove great." He also told me he was a mechanic. Perhaps I should have been better informed, but I assumed he "checked the car." It drove well on a test drive.

I traded in a 2002 Toyota Corolla for $400. It was having break problems. I had already paid for repairs, and Midas told me it would cost $2,000 - $3,000 more to repair all that was needed. I thought I was getting a more reliable car.

The car Starsky sold me lasted 10 days. Then the oil and gas light both came on, and it was making a strange noise. I called Starsky. He told me to drive it out to him (he's in Stafford, I'm in Montrose). Since I just bought it from him, I did what he told me to. The car stalled out on the freeway. He came to get me - I used my service to have the car towed to his house where he said he'd work on it. His wife was with us - no danger, just car issues.

Since Starsky is a mechanic, he was "helping me out." First he replaced the sensors. That did not fix it. Then, I paid to have it towed to his friend Alex's mechanic shop. Starsky assured me replacing the timing belt would fix it. It did not. Next, he told me it needed a new engine because driving it on the freeway with the problems probably ruined the engine. Reminder: He told me to. When I complained, he said "You got to drive it for 10 days." I also told Starsky that I needed the car for doctor's appointments. I explained that I've had 3 surgeries on my neck, and I finally found a doctor to help me avoid surgery number 4, but I need a car to get there. I explained my neck is bone on bone, and it is not good for me to stop in the middle of treatment.

Starsky said he could find a replacement engine for me at a junk yard, but it would be best to wait until tax season was over so prices would drop. It would also give me time to save up for the new engine, labor, and the labor for the timing belt assembly that did not fix the problem. He said Alex needed room to work on other cars, so I said he could have the car towed to my apt. When I asked Starsky the name of Alex's shop, he said "He forgot."

So now I have an unusable car (engine is apart) in front of my house. I've learned I paid him too much for this car as it is, and he is going to make money from the car I traded in. He could have replaced the engine for me.

I found a mechanic to check the car when it was at my house. He showed me the engine oil - it was completely solid. The engine also had many leaks. The car had not been maintained. There were no new parts in the engine, it had just been taken apart. When Starsky said he "checked the car," and, he is a mechanic, I assumed he "checked it." Now I know better. I am going to have a junk yard pick up the car and I will get $345 dollars. I lost $3,000 dollars working with Starsky, and now I have no car at all. I wish I never came anywhere near him or Prestige of Sugarland.
