Roane Park

This is the best playground equipment in Houston!! It's got that 1980's feeling where parts of it ride that edge where it feels a little dangerous, which is what makes it fun! That being said, I've never actually felt afraid for my kid. Just keep an eye on them. It's over three stories tall! The cargo net/ spider web thing is 2 stories tall!! When you kid climbs to the top of the net thats when you start doing parent math about if you can catch them if they fall. When they say they don't build them like they used to, it's not true, this playground is the best!!!

They have different style playgrounds that appeal to different age groups. I could see a 12 year old having fun at this park where my 1 year old is playing.
They have open bathrooms. Not sure if they ever lock them, but I was able to use it at 1pm.
Couple of picnic tables in the shade.
Good amount of parking too.
There's also a sidewalk that goes all the way around the playground, which makes it much easier for me to follow my boys with a double stroller.

Very cool kids park, plenty of different options. Safe for little. My kids enjoyed playing here.

I really liked that this park offers equipment for all ages. I have a 2 year old and there was more than just a swing and slide for him to play on. There's even a swing and seasaw set that adults can ride with your kids.

This park is really great. There are many different play options kids really enjoyed their time.

Playground is amazing, my kids get very tired, nice people, easily accessible, convenient location, love the dual chair swing 👍🏼

Today I babysat two adorable twins. The playground was really nice. I do wish there were some kind of fountain to wash hands with and the benches need shade. Other than that. It's really nice. 😊

Lovely park with nice art & a great playground for kids with wide open spaces to play ball, Frisby, or fly kites.

Nice park for my son and friends to play soccer. It is very spacious and a calm area I found peaceful and relaxing.

Always super tidy, the bugs and ants are always kept back at Bay, and the landscaping is always kept up with. One of my favorite memories ever was made here. Great place

Very nice park. Frequented by youth sports soccer and football. Quiet and peaceful playground. Not crowded at all
