Stafford Municipal Court

Nicole was a huge help getting my ticket dismissed. I was super worried because after I took defensive driving there was a problem requesting my driving record. Nicole advised me on how to get it taken care of and it definitely helped. She even offered to follow up with me. Very thankful for her great customer service.

They are okay. They were kinda helpful when I came in for my first traffic citation and paid to get a DDC. The only thing is that they didn't even explain where I was supposed to get a DDC. They just swiped my card for $107 mumbled a bunch of things and said bye. At least be clear on where to get a DDC. Only when I asked is when the lady told me to Google it. They should have a recommended list. At least they weren't rude.

They actually took their time to pick me up from a different county over a warrant with them for "no font license plate". The officer was nice enough to take me to the court to pay the fine BUT $1,047? Seriously? I hope one day this backfires on them.

If I could give 0 stars for this court I would. This is the Walmart court of courts. Worst court, worst judge and very inefficient. I was on a payment plan, paid half of it late and was refunded my payment. When I called to see why, I was told that I would have to see the judge and they would send out a court date. They did not. I called twice about court date and was told that they would send out the court date in the mail, just wait. Finally went up there, told them I wanted to pay the whole amount and was told I couldn't because i had to talk to the judge. I was told what date to come to talk to the judge. I came on that day, sat up there for over an hour, for the staff to call me back up to the window and said the judge said I would just have to pay the full amount. The very same thing I had tried to do two weeks ago. And I never spoke to the judge and was told that the staff woman explained my situation to the judge. They need a new judge and a new system. Horrible.

Five stars to the manager. However, years later and YOU STILL have terrible service. They shut down early and ARE NOT READY TO SERVE BEFORE CLOSING. Unfortunately this group of women are nasty and don’t deserve to serve the public. Stafford deserves better. I will be reporting this department. Give us better individuals who do not mind servicing others with kindness like the manager. Thank you :)

Not welcoming, unpleasantly rough for no reason. Do not spend time to argue to spend their time and public resources. Just pay and leave the court. First and worst court experience. Good faith effort doesn’t serve cuz they dont listen. If you have a ticket for commercial Code and or permit related issues you need to hire an attorney. Attorneys can play the game better than you being honest.

The people there are rude and hateful. The judge is the worst! She has the attitude of being better than everyone else because of her position.
I have a service dog that goes everywhere I do. We were made to sit on a beach outside the court room and wait to be called. My dog was not allowed in the court room. I have papers on him which nobody even cared about.

The clerks were a bit rude in person, but on the phone they were completely rude. No help what so ever, and when I asked how much was for the parking ticket, her respone was "another one!, well it's not in the system call back in two weeks".

Rude! And they don’t care about helping anyone! I told them I can’t afford to go to jail I have three kids at home I barely make peanut at work and I asked to see a judge they want me to pay my warrant. Excuse me mame if I don’t have money for my tickets what makes you think I have money for a warrant! I wish someone could do something about this people! It’s no way they should be in public service!

Horrible place, avoid getting ticket on 90. The orielly cop on tricycle don't check anything and will issue you false speed ticket 31 over limit purposely so you cannot qualify for drive safety course even if u are only 5 or 10 above limit and pay $350+ max panelty to them. He try to pull rich people with luxury vehicles mostly.
I wish public can sue system

Called to make sure when my court date was and the lady was so rude as if she did not want to work their. As a public court house, you need better attitudes.
