Minette's Amazing Hair

I cannot say enough positive things about my experience with Minette and her assistant Sumara. Minette is amazing - extremely knowledgeable and caters to each client’s unique needs. I have never met a more talented, passionate stylist. I am thrilled to have found her!

I’m new to Katy, Texas, and desperately needed a good, experienced hairdresser. Lucky for me, I found Minette, and she truly is amazing! She has three decades of experience, owns her own salon, and is truly a hair artist! She’s not only a delightful person, but also a talented hair artist—I’ll be back for more haircuts, color, highlights & conditioning treatments!

I found Minette from a lot of research. She is wonderful. My first appt she colored my roots and slowly matching the color I really. The first picture is before my color. I was Alsolucky enough to be chosen to try a treatment for frizzy, wavy thick hair. (similar to Keratin) but so much more. That is the second picture. The third picture is the proof of the treatment Qiqi is the product. Look at my hair. The color is vibrant, my hair is softer than it has been. I highly recommend Minette.

This review is long overdue! I recently moved to the area and was looking for a new stylist. Minette is absolutely amazing! She is extremely talented and has such a warm and engaging personality. The amount of time she spends with you surpassed my expectations. If you’re looking for a brilliant and honest stylist look no further, you won’t find anyone else that provides top notch service from start to finish!

Minette cut and styled my Asperger’s son’s hair today it looks wonderful. She is so kind and made him feel comfortable and at ease. We will definitely be returning for many haircuts😇. Thank you Minette!

I found out about Minette for the first time and she was able to get me in right away. Not only is she an amazing colorist and hairstylist, she truly cares and wants you to walk out of her salon looking and feeling beautiful. She took time to get to know more about me which made me feel at ease right away. I now have beautiful blonde highlights and getting so many compliments ! I was that girl whose mom cut her hair for 35yrs of her life, not only did she do hair for a period of time, but she was my mom. I tell you that so you can grasp how difficult it was for me to find someone I could trust with my hair when my mom could no longer do it. I am so blessed to have found Minette. Yes, she may be busy and her prices are not those of your quickie, run of the mill, chain salons. Ultimately, you get what you pay for and so much more with Minette. Her knowledge and skill is astounding. Her genuine and friendly personality. Her professional ethics and goals seem to drive her motivation to always provide the best for her customers. Today I walked in and said...I want something different. She asked me a few questions and my answers were vague, but I told her that I trusted her judgment, expertise, skill and ability to help me discern what my next move should be with my hair. She not only recommended services but also used the highest of quality products on my hair. Her new salon location is so cheerful. I am so thankful that the Lord has led me here.

I had a fantastic experience with Minette and Sumara, her assistant. I found them on Google after spending a lot of time looking at salons, and drove an hour and a half to make this appointment. I came in after never truly loving my hair. I asked what could be done for it to look nice, have easy maintenance, and look nice regardless of if I wear makeup or not.

Minette told me about my undertones and face shape, and sweetly let me know what would and wouldn't work. I needed and appreciate that honesty, and I know that truly caring people are the ones who can do something like this for others.

When I got there I didn't realize I had booked the wrong appointment type, but they graciously squeezed me in for quite a few hours to get my hair done. They really went out of their way with the color correction and balayage I asked for. (I had never had these done before, so I really didn't know how much I was asking of Minette and Sumara- sorry guys, and thank you, with all my heart!!!)

I am in love with my hair now, I truly couldn't be happier with her work!

The attention to details with every client I saw work being done on, her graciousness and expertise, it was worth every penny spent and mile driven to get here. I'll be back for sure.

The products they used were really good and the option to buy them at their studio was great!
Also, it was easy to find their building, parking was easy and pretty plentiful especially for being near downtown.

Minette is an amazing hair stylist, she understands hair like noone else. I'm so happy with the resutls that even after I moved to a different city, I don't mind traveling all the way back to Katy for my appointments.

Minette- is fantastic. She spent HOURS on my hair. and got it to look like a hollywood star. I came in and needed highlights. I was worried about using a new person and asking for a very dramatic change. Minette spent 7 hours until about 10:40pm, on a Friday to ensure it looked perfect. I had a baylage done and honestly I could not believe how transformed my hair was. She knew exactly how to do it, took on a difficult project, and made it look phenomenally healthy. I walked out happier than I have ever been. I honestly, am tempted to fly from SF to Houston once a year, simply to see her for my hair. She is not cheap, but she is great. If I got the same work done in SF or LA (where I typically do) it actually would be 4X her cost. Her student assistant was also very knowledgeable and engaging. I had a phenomenal experience and highly recommend Minette without hesitation.

Minette listened to me and made some great suggestions for my dull brown/grey hair! I love the cut and the highlights! She it's amazing!

Minette always does an amazing job. She really takes her time to make sure that your hair is taken care of and done right. I am a natural blonde but I do get get highlights and it is always perfect.

I've never had a stylist like Minette before. Now I understand how people can be devoted to their hair professionals. She is a TREASURE. Even better than the fact that she knows what she's doing is that she is passionate about doing it right. The best kind of perfectionist! I've already booked my return visit and I'm never letting anyone else but Minette's talented hands get near my wavy head again :)

What can I say, the experience couldn’t have been better!!
This was my first time with Minette and it was worth every minute! She’s fantastic, so welcoming and definitely knows what she’s doing, I felt very content the entirety of being there, wonderful people, wonderful place! I adore my haircut, I waited so long to get it cut again in fear of going to the wrong stylist but something drew me to Minette and I couldn’t be happier. She pays close attention to detail and wants nothing more than for you to be happy and confident in your new look, was very adamant on making sure I was pleased and in helping figure out what was best for my hair!
I can say with confidence that I will definitely be coming back, and highly highly recommend her services! You won’t be disappointed!

Minette's Amazing hair is amazing! I went to her after 2 salons the prior week to correct the mistakes the other salons made. She is very knowledgeable about all things hair! She is very personable and cares what the customer wants. She explained everything before hand and listened to me. Very comfortable shop and the chair at the wash basin will make you want to take a nap! I left very happy with my hair and will be going back very soon! Thanks so much!
