King's Church

This is a gospel centered church. The elders are very intentional when thinking through and leading worship. The Sunday school classes for young and old are meaty. I truly think that King's church is committed to exalting Christ and making disciples. The church is welcoming and friendly. We made a cross country move and our kids were welcomed by their Sunday school teachers and kids in their classes. We were welcomed by many including pastor Richard. We are very thankful for this church.

My family and I have been members of King’s Church since the beginning (7 years now). We can attest that King’s Church seeks to put King Jesus and the gospel of His glorious grace at the center of everything. From the carefully selected songs we sing, to the order of the service, the men’s and women’s studies, the children’s ministry curriculum, the books recommended, etc. everything is centered around the finished work of Jesus on our behalf and what it means for our lives. We have been involved in church situations that emphasize you and what you should be doing, rather than Christ and what He has done. Not so with King’s Church! It is all about the gospel! Rather than teaching “self-help” or moralistic “try harder” messages, King’s Church focuses on gospel-centered Bible preaching about our lost, sinful, and helpless state and God’s redeeming grace through the death and resurrection of His Son. In addition to the excellent Christ-centered preaching and teaching, King’s Church is such a wonderful church family! We have never been a part of such a truly loving and involved church community. Through all the ups and downs of life, the pastoral staff and church community has been there with us through it all. King’s Church has been and continues to be a vital support and our true family. We thank God daily for King’s Church and are grateful to have found such a wonderful, Christ-exalting church home.

We have been going to Kings Church for 2 years. I can truly call King’s Church my family. The genuine love and fellowship we have experienced there is incredible. The pastoral staff are Christ centered and preach the gospel. We thank the Lord and are so grateful to have found such a wonderful place to worship the Lord!

Small, (REALLY) family oriented church. By far the best church I've been blessed to call HOME. They teach straight from the bible and leave nothing to your imagination. There are plenty of people from all walks of life dealing with the same issues you are to help you through whatever you're going through. Plus there's never a dull moment before or after the service with all the active and imaginative children around. There are also plenty of activities planned thru out the year for you to attend and reach out to the community. Give them a try, feel them out, come see why we are a great church!

God centered. The Gospel is preached here. I’ve learned so much. After 12 years of searching for a place to worship our Lord, we are so happy to have found Kings Church!

I’m so grateful and thankful to the Lord for leading our family to King’s Church. I’ve grown so much in Christ thanks to the loving and biblical leadership found here.

I'm a broken sinner desperately in need of grace and, sadly, this church body failed to show that. I did not feel welcomed here. I felt condemned. I felt that unless you have it all together, you are not welcome. There is a core group of members (as another reviewer stated, that have "been there since the beginning") and unless you are part of that group, I fear you will feel like an outcast, as I did. I do believe the gospel of Jesus Christ is preached here, and so, with my brother Paul, I echo: "Only that in every way, whether in pretense or in truth, Christ is proclaimed, and in that I rejoice." (Philippians 1:18) Whatever their shortcomings, I rejoice that Christ is exalted.
