Memorial Hermann Parking Garage

Really poor security - My wife and I were in the Hospital having our first son. When it came time to be discharged, I went out to get the truck and it had been stolen. The garages have security gate arms and ticket machines at every entrance, but the arms are always left open so anyone can come and go (very convenient for hospital guests but also incredibly easy for thieves!).

The worst part was the service of the security team. After opening a Houston police report, the Hospital Security team confirmed that they had cameras monitoring the garage, but after multiple weeks, the security team still hadn't "had enough time" to review the footage.. We were only there for a few nights... They could've literally played the footage on live speed and watched it 4x over! There might have been great video evidence of the thieves that could've been relayed to the Police to help prevent this again, but It seems as if the security team was content just letting insurance pay out the claim, rather than actually keeping their garages secure.

All in all -- really poor security and a breeding ground for car thieves. The Security team and garage security protocols need to seriously be re-evaluated!
