Del Frisco's Double Eagle Steakhouse

Amazing! Had a great time for our anniversary, Chris and the entire staff was amazing and super helpful and made the night super enjoyable. The live music was absolutely fantastic, and complements to the chef for making the best steak I’ve ever had! Will definitely be returning!

I have to say, I am absolutely a huge fan of this restaurant. Every time I dine here, the food never fails to amaze me. The steaks are definitely the golden calf of this place, but let me tell you, the Lamb Chops deserve to be on that same level. I made sure to give specific instructions for how I wanted my lamb cooked, and the chefs went above and beyond to deliver a dish that was cooked to perfection and absolutely delicious. Not only is the food amazing, but the service is top notch as well. From the moment we walked in to the time we left, we were treated with the utmost care and attention. And let's not forget about the stunning views in this two-story restaurant. It truly adds to the overall dining experience and makes it even more special. This restaurant is definitely one of my favorites and I can't wait to come back for more mouthwatering dishes.

We had an amazing time. The food and service were awesome. Eddie was very pleasant and offered great recommendations. We asked for Philip, but Eddie was the server in the area we requested. Philip came by to visit us. Love the team spirit. Way to go, Del Frisco, with having the best servers in Houston, Eddie, and Phillip!

10/10. Went here on a Monday night & had the last reservation. Everything was amazing. Our waitor Christopher was awesome. He made his specialty drink 🍸 for me & it was delicious. For an appetizer, we had the octopus. It was a little salty for my preference, but my husband loved it. For main entrée I had the scallops,they were cooked to perfection. My husband had the tuna. The lobster mac/cheese is chef's kiss & the asparagus was excellent. Just an FYI, if your reservation is at 9 pm, order all your drinks at once because they're technically closed at 9 pm. I wasn't able to order another drink at 10pm because they were closing out the kitchen & bar for the night.

I grabbed a late lunch here with my mom. We had a nice table with a view. Our server Eddie was excellent he was very attentive. He definitely went above and beyond. They bought us bread with honey butter it was so delicious. I ordered the lobster bisque and the surf and turf trio. My steaks were cooked to perfection. Seasoned, tender and juicy. My mom had the lobster bisque and the salmon. The salmon was cooked well could have been seasoned more and she was not a fan of the beans. She also loved my steak. For accompaniments we ordered the lobster mac and cheese which was heavenly, the creamed spinach and the crab fried rice and the side (special request and OMG Iit was so good). Overall great experience. Will definitely be back

The strip I ordered was succulent, tender and seasoned perfectly. The char on the outside was expertly cooked and was very satisfying to eat. Broccolini was cooked beautifully. In my opinion it could’ve used a little more salt and slightly less lemon, but that is probably just a personal preference.

The Scallion Garlic crispy rice with ahi, hamachi and wasabi aioli was so enjoyable! I highly recommend it.

Fernando was a gracious server and very attentive. The atmosphere was very relaxing and comfortable. Keep up the good work!

From the moment we stepped through the doors we had an amazing experience. First was the look of the restaurant; next the sounds, the lady singing during service was wonderful. Our server Angie was great. She was very friendly and we never felt rushed by her. Finally, the food. Starting with the freshly baked bread with plenty of honey butter maybe and the wonderful Wedge Salad. The long bone short rib my friend had looked great and I had the Surf and Turf Trio which was so delicious and the Fillet Medallions were perfectly prepared each topped with a taste of seafood; shrimp, lump crab cake and scallop. In certain we will dine here again before we leave in a week.

We celebrated our anniversary here and had an amazing experience! Angye, our server, was super nice and attentive. The staff overall is super nice! You get good portions for the price and all of the sides are shareable. The lobster bisque, lobster mac and cheese were to die for and the steak was very tender and had an amazing sear!! Truly a must have experience for anyone who wants to try great food near the galleria area.

Delicious steaks. I had the surf and turf trio, which give this a combination of 3 seafood (shrimp, scallop and crab cake) and steak. So you can try a variety with just 1 dish.

Was a guest here and enjoyed a great steak, salad, and dessert. Service was excellent and the decor was clean if rather classic, in the wood walls and big tables way, but that works in an oil and gas city. Food was good all around and competent if not strikingly memorable. You can come here for any occasion and I think they'll do right by you. Your guests will not leave hungry or feeling unsatisfied.

Our shrimp appetizer and bacon appetizer were amazing. The honey butter biscuits were so soft and tasty, and the bacon app was literally an inch thick. The bone-in ribeye with garlic butter was emaculate and my wifes Chilean sea bass was devine. We orderd dessert and selected the butter cake and we asked to have the lemon glaze from the lemon cake added and it was heavenly. We spent Two-Fifty including tip and it was well worth it...

Food is superb. Service was excellent… made our special evening rememberable. Gin dirty martini with blue cheese olives were top notch

I called ahead about my food allergies and also spoke with staff in person, and was able to eat here without any concerns - the staff was very knowledgeable and clear about what menu items would be safe for me. My coworker, who is vegan, was also able to eat with us. The food was delicious and the service from the manager, Ali, and our server, Caitlyn, was excellent. Thank you for a great evening! ♥

I have to admit that the place exceeded my expectations. My wife and I had dinner here for our anniversary, and Del Friscos made our night a special one. The staff was amazing, the food was perfect, and the environment was very pleasant.

So I'm rating our visit from our second, "re-do" visit.

We come to Del Frisco's in Houston for every special occasion for many, many years. At least 3-4 times. This particular visit was our 10th wedding anniversary. We have a table that we like and request and really look forward to our visits. I will refrain from speaking about the first visit as it was regarding the lack lustrous service. This visit was phenomenal. The manager Taylor generously asked us back and we were able to enjoy our anniversary meal as we expected and enjoyed! Everyone was on it and the food was delicious as ever. We like coming here for the experience from start to finish. It's what keeps us coming back. Del Frisco's is a beautiful establishment that I chose to make reservations at based on the food images alone; the Tomahawk sold us. The ambiance is amazing with dim lights throughout that gave Del Frisco's a very intimate setting. Our reservations were for six and due to significant Christmas traffic we ended up being 20 minutes late; that was no issue and we were still given our reserved seats on the second floor. The second floor adds to the experience as the view is fantastic. I noticed an upstairs, outdoor area, but it was closed off, probably seasonal, but I would be interested in that experience as well.

My wife and I ordered the Tomahawk for two; it was a magnificent specimen and very filling. The chef cooked it masterfully as requested; medium rare, bright red, warm interior. For sides we ordered the lobster macaroni and cheese and asparagus. The Mac and cheese was so rich and creamy and the asparagus had pistachios that gave it a unique taste.

We also ordered tuna tartar for starters; it was excellent. Banana bread pudding for dessert which was also good.

The only downside were the drinks. I got the VIP cocktail which tasted great and had a frothy vibe, but I could taste zero alcohol, so depending on your intent, you might select another drink.

Overall I was very happy with the restaurant and highly recommend it.

We were a little hesitant at first with it behind attached to the Galleria, but boy did they surprise us!
When you enter there is a bar downstairs as well as an elevator to take you up. There are tables for casual dining by the bar.
Upstairs they have a dress code, which I did like. This was a special girls weekend for my daughter’s birthday. As you can see from the pictures they had an awesome time!
My friend and I ordered the table tester. It was overall really good. The potatoes and spinach were lacking…. Something? Butter, salt? The steak and hors d’oeuvres were super tasty! The dessert was fantastic! Over all this place surpassed the reviews we read! We did overhear that the price of Saudi Arabia and Megan the Stallion frequented there often. Kris, our server, was professional and knowledgeable about the food which helped make our decision on course’s easier. We will definitely be back!

This is my second time that I’ve been to Del fresco’s, the Food, ambience and the service are always top-of-the-line!

It was our first time dining here at Del Frisco's, and our experience was outstanding! We tried this restaurant for my birthday dinner. We were kinda hesitant at first because we hate driving around the Galleria area. Our server, Chase, was very nice and attentive. Food was superb. We ordered the crispy fried lobster for appetizer and the 22 oz Prime New York Strip. Sides were also excellent. We had the Butter Cake for dessert, and that really hits the spot. We would definitely come back to dine here!
