Legends of Hutto Park

We had a great experience at this little park! Even though it's small, it has a playground for the kids and swings, even for toddlers. They also have a basketball goal and the park has a concrete trail to walk on. There are lots of trees and it's very well kept! They don't have bathrooms at this park but it's great to take the kids and have a nice walk!

Great park. Well maintained and a gem for the neighborhood.

This park is NOT well maintained...

Lived here for 5 years and there's only been 1 time I've gone where it was actually safe. Anything from giant ant hills the size of my toddler that are left untreated for weeks - or the same size ant hills that had gone left alone for so long, completely covered in poison (what if a kid fell in that, can't be completely safe..)

The major issues have been this year though. The stairs to the playscape were all torn apart and my 3yo hurt his foot because of it. Then they had a giant pile of dirt/construction waste sitting at the front side walk to the playground got over a month which had jagged rebar sticking out of it...

Now the entire playscape is torn apart (stairs are off, the slides have been covered by caution tape.which has since blown off/is just hanging off. No communication from the HOA to let us know this was happening or when it will be safe to go back.

This is the one neighborhood attraction in the legends of Hutto HOA and it never seems maintained..
