Marshall White, Ashlyn, and Katy Funeral Home were instrumental in making the arrangements for our loved one as stress free and as simple as possible. I felt my son was in the best possible hands and would not hesitate to recommend Katy Funeral Home to others in need of funeral/cremation services. Our family was given the highest level of caring and respect. Being able to honor my son’s life in such a personal manner made a devastating loss somewhat easier.

If I could leave a 10 star review to Katy Funeral Home, I would do just that. My father passed away unexpectedly and left my family and I heart broken. Ashlyn, who works at the Funeral was a tremendous help to my husband and I with all the preparation for my dad's service. She was professional, kind, understanding and patient with my family. She listen to us describing the type of person my father was and executed with precise detail that was seen on my father's shrine at the service. I was so happy to see such detailed, I cannot describe how I felt but my heart was filled with so much warmth and beyond thankful about Ashlyn really taking care of us in such an incredible way. She really took her time to listen to us and was very attentive to the rest of my family. She took great care of us. I am so greatful to have considered this place and having Ashlyn being there for us in a devastating time for my family and I. Again thank you Katy Funeral Home and much thanks to Ashlyn for given as such a beautiful service. The folks at Katy funeral were very kind and patient and helped us every step of the way. My Mother’s service and funeral were with Katy funeral and because they made the experience very easy, beautiful and stress free, I didn’t hesitate in calling them for my father who just recently passed. His services were just as incredible! They took care of everything. They even contacted the air force and his military burial was very elegant and beautiful. The directors were on top of absolutely everything and they took charge of the whole thing! Katie and Alex were so kind and awesome!!! My family couldn’t have been more pleased.

First and foremost, I want to say Katy Funeral Home is an exceptional funeral home with a welcoming atmosphere if you are ever deciding on where to have your loved one’s service. The building, decor, various rooms, staff, and the actual venue were all top of the line. I’ve attended many services at different funeral homes because of my job and Katy Funeral Home ranks the highest on my list compared to the others. We used Katy Funeral Home on a personal note to host my mother’s memorial service. Although their building alone would be enough for me to choose them, it was my funeral director, Mr. Alex Southwell, who went above and beyond surpassing our expectations.

Mr. Southwell was on top of all our requests and completed them in a short amount of time. Our initial meeting was very informative and he made sure everything was exactly as we wanted it. I saw that his priority was taking care of my family’s needs and not just trying to sell additional options to us. In fact, he saved us money! The day of the service he monitored it from another room and was very aware of what each speaker was saying as they paid tribute to my mother. My brother was one of those speakers and he mentioned every time the song “Red Red Wine” was played, it reminded my mother of him. My brother was in the military at the time and my mother would cry every time that song came on because she missed him. At the end of the service as everyone was getting out of their chairs to visit, the song “Red Red Wine” came on. Mr. Southwell played the song for us at the end because he listened to what was being said. These special little touches cannot be overstated. He is an exemplary funeral director who personally gets to know the families he serves in just a short amount of time. Mr. Southwell far exceeded our expectations and we are forever grateful!

While they provided outstanding service, the funeral director: Marshall White (big guy) went above and beyond to make sure that my family received the absolute best personal service. Marshall and his team went above and beyond during one of the most hardest times of my life. The key to detail was like none other. They literally helped pick the perfect speaker, Marty. They provided an amazing grave side services too. They worked amazing with Itzi at the ceremony and made everything flow beautifully in such a short time. Hands down top notch.

We recently bought the Cremation and Memorial Service package from Katy Funeral Home through Dignity Memorial's Beatriz Agramonte, Senior Pre-planning Advisor. She was very knowledgeable, patient and accommodating throughout the entire process of my husband's and my own funeral pre-planning. I recommend highly their services. We visited the funeral home and it exudes calmness and reserved beauty. It's great that it's accessible via the highway, and there's plenty of parking.

My grandmother recently passed away unexpectedly. My father got into contact with Alex, who helped us arrange everything. Alex was amazing through the whole process. He was patient and kind and answered every random question my family and I had. The whole staff was also very friendly. They truly went above and beyond for my family and we will forever be grateful.

Katy Funeral Home made our mother’s homegoing celebration the most beautiful and seamless service we have ever experienced. The lifestory which told such a beautiful journey of who she was and loved was a wonderful unexpected addition.
