Ricardo and Shellie are heaven sent! We were in a bind with another facility that over promised and under delivered! It was a last ditch effort my brother called Emerald Hills Funeral Home and Shellie went above and beyond to accommodate us with only a few days notice! The service and burial went perfect! I recommend this location 10/10 and will forever be grateful to how professional, loving, and accommodating the entire team at Emerald Hills Funeral Home were! The loss of a loved one is devastating and your world turns upside down, but this facility will guide you every step of the way!

Chris, the Director of Emerald Hills has been nothing but helpful caring Mr. And Worried shows lots of compassion. We have been using Emerald Hills now for years my dad, my mom, my nephew and my brother we got top treatment, so Chris again thank you thank you thank you.

Amanda and Shelly were so wonderful helping us arrange my mom’s funeral. When you’re so sad and can’t even think clearly they were there being so kind and compassionate and truly cared. They made one of the hardest days of my life so much easier. I feel like they are were truly a blessing!

Planning and coordinating a funeral while still in disbelief and grieving is absolutely difficult to say the least. Working with Chris and Amanda simplified the situation as best as they could given all the circumstances surrounding the planning. This funeral home was patient to our needs and asks yet they communicated with transparency and empathy to our feelings. Thank you Amanda and Chris for being there for us and making adjustments where needed even if was to our favor or another side of the family. We know you don't have an easy job when it comes to split family funeral arrangements, but you both were amazing and delegated in a respectable manner.

Emerald Hills Funeral Home family was amazing to us as we laid our precious son to rest. They were patient, kind and answered all of our questions. They worked late on a Friday night to get everything ready for his service on Saturday. The service was amazing and again the staff was amazing and supper attentive to our family, and friends. This was a horrible event that led us to need Emerald Hills but you know beyond a shadow of a doubt this is their ministry. Thank you Chris, Elizabeth and Justin and all the others behind the scenes for caring for us and our family during our most vulnerable time.

Jason, Justin and the amazing staff of Emerald Hills Funeral Home were there for my family and I, every step of the way, through a very difficult process. They treated me like family, going above and beyond what I expected, guiding me, answering questions, and helping us with arrangements when I had no idea what to do. It was as if they had known my husband and I all along, making the funeral so personalized to us. I can never thank them enough for such a beautiful and personal funeral.

I want to commend Chris Jones and Emerald Hills for the beautifully prepared service and burial for Alberta Dade Friday, April 29, 2022. Chris had to coordinate with multiple organizations/funeral homes and transport as well as my niece and nephew to ensure a seamless and flawless service and transport from Grand Rapids, Michigan to Kennedale and it turned out perfect. We could not have been more pleased. His attention to detail, was spot on every detail. He was very attentive to the needs of the family from start to finish. He was extremely comforting to Carmen and Brandon. It's beyond evident this is a ministry and a calling for him and not just a job. Prayerfully, God will bless him with his own funeral home. He will be successful because he puts his heart and soul into his work. Emerald Hills is blessed to have such a great staff. #DadeLevineStrong.

What a beautiful location! Plenty of parking at the main office. I was hoping to find a kiosk to look up the location of a headstone. The office door was still open and Elizabeth Crump was helping a client. She was so sweet to stay and help me find the location of the head still I needed. What a helpful associate to go above and beyond what she needed to do! Thank you Mrs Crump!

It’s taken me a little while to write this review, but I needed time to really process the extraordinary effort Chris Jones and the entire Emerald Hills Funeral Home team put into ensuring that my mother’s memorial service and cremation were executed with the highest level of care and respect for both her and our family.

Having to manage the administrative details of my mother’’s passing while also grappling with all of the heavy emotions that come with it was almost more than I could bear, but from the second Chris received the call asking for his help, he went above and beyond the call of duty to ease as much of that burden as possible. From coordinating air transport of my mother’s body with the local mortuary and personally ensuring the handoff was completed without incident, to ensuring her body was always treated with absolute care and respect and that she looked like an absolute queen at her viewing, Chris and team displayed a level of professionalism beyond any I’ve experienced before.

The masterful manner in which Chris was able to balance regular communication and proactive decision-making with ensuring I felt involved and in control throughout the entire process was expert-level, and really underscored how seriously Chris takes his calling. While the loss of a loved one is something I wouldn’t wish on anyone, if ever I find myself in this situation again, I pray I have the opportunity to work with Chris Jones and his team again. From the bottom of my heart, thank you thank you thank you to Chris and the Emerald Hills team.

Emerald Hills and specifically Justin went above and beyond in every aspect to help my family through such a difficult time. Their professionalism and courteous interactions were second to none. They walked us through every aspect of this trying process and communicated tirelessly the entire time. The makeup person did a fantastic job and the media was perfect. If you have any hesitation about going with Emerald Hills, don't. You will be in fantastic hands.

Emerald Hills assisted my in-laws in 1989 when they tragically lost a young son. They decided at that time, Emerald Hills would be the resting place for the rest of their family and bought several funeral plots/plans. In 2018, when my mother-in-law passed, Jason Rand and his team did an outstanding job assisting my family through the process. Jason, along with Justin and Jana, made us feel comfortable and confident with every detail. Jason even helped us find a special hairdresser, so that her hair looked exactly the way she would have wanted it. Also have to thank Justin, who helped us at the last minute when my video wouldn't play on the day of the service. Jason created a special relationship with us, stayed in constant contact, before, during and even after the services, making sure we had everything we needed. During a difficult time, we couldn't have asked for more, and will always remember Jason and his team for their dedication in meeting our needs.

While there were some hiccups along the way with my grandfather's, and subsequently, my grandmother's services and burials, Jason Rand was an absolute professional throughout the process. Mr. Rand made planning and execution painless for the family, and remained incredibly compassionate and considerate throughout. I am truly grateful for his guiding hand as we navigated through difficult times as a family, resulting in beautiful and meaningful services for my grandparents. His kindness and professionalism will never be forgotten.

It’s never easy losing a loved one, but Jason Rand and his staff at Emerald Hills Funeral Home made a very solemn occasion as easy as possible. They were very compassionate and helpful during this process. The service was beautiful, and our family is very appreciative.

Angela was a treasure to work with. Friendly, patient and kind, she respected all of my Mother’s request. My father wanted the simplest of everything. She answered all of our questions and made an emotional task easier to deal with for all of us.

The funeral home charged a very reasonable price for the services we requested and did not try to upsell.

Mama was very satisfied with the services and assistance.

When my sweet grandma passed I was having such a hard time. Jason Rand & his team, helped guide us through every process with compassion & care. We were never rushed on any decisions. Even when picking out her beautiful casket, which I lost it.. He comforted me, brought me water & kleenex.. They stepped out of the room to let us collect our thoughts.. He even let me paint her nails as a grieving process & my mom did her hair.. All of these little things that we went though, Jason was guiding us through it, made this difficult times very smooth process.. Thank you so much..

We had a beautiful, peaceful experience for my dad's passing. There were many challenges due to us having a large family and needing the funeral to take place while everyone was still in town. Justin, at Emerald Hills, made this happen in a professional, caring way. The whole family is so thankful for all you did.

Jason and Janna were very helpful to me when I lost my loving husband Robby. They really care about you and help you through one of the most painful times in your life. Everytime I go to make a payment on my final arrangements either Jason or Janna is there to give me a hug and ask how I am doing... I recommend Emerald Hills to take care of your loved one.

I can not say enough about Christopher Jones , this fine man , and his helpers at Emerald Hills. His kindness and compassion has been such an encouragement to me during this difficult time. My sweet husband's death was not expected and I found myself planning his funeral, not knowing which way to turn, but Chris knew. He and his sweet ladies guided me through painful and uncharted paths. Thank you Chris, Angela and the angel, Korina who came to me this morning at the cemetery to check on me when she saw me drive up to Don's grave. God bless you each one .
