Children's Lighthouse of Katy - Wood Creek Reserve

We're thrilled with our experience here so far! My daughter is thriving in her academics, she loves her teachers. I personally love getting sent what they are learning and working on each month to also talk/incorporate those things in our home. I also love all the activities and events, never experienced a daycare quite like this one. 🙂

The best daycare I’ve ever had my baby enrolled in. The staffs are always friendly and courteous, every month there are new activities, great lesson plans, clean environment and I can see the difference in my Children. We love it here! I absolutely love this place! My son has never felt more at home then when he is at this Children Lighthouse of katy learning and creating new experiences. Thanks to the loving and supportive staffs Brittany, Jonay, Anna from the Site’s Director / front desk staff and incredibly friendly teachers always so welcoming! The executive director Dorothee is friendly and helpful. Please give them a call & Highly Recommended!!!

We have been sending our child to Children LightHouse at Woodcreek for over a year now, and our experience has been absolutely wonderful. The staff there are not just caregivers; they are true professionals who understand the needs of children and work tirelessly to ensure a safe, nurturing, and educational environment. Our child has grown so much both socially and intellectually.

The facilities are always clean, well-maintained, and suited perfectly for children of all ages to play, learn, and rest. The daily activities are well-thought-out and focus on all the essential areas of development such as fine motor skills, speech, and social interaction.

Moreover, the warmth and kindness of the staff have made our child feel comfortable and welcomed from day one. It's reassuring to know that our child is in such good hands and is being looked after with so much care and attention. Highly recommended for any parent looking for a safe, professional, and loving environment for their child.

After having a terrible experience at a previous nearby daycare, we are so lucky to find Children’s Lighthouse Woodcreek Reserve. My daughter first began daycare at ~14 months and had such a hard time adjusting with the previous daycare that we pulled her out and placed her at Children’s Lighthouse. Within 2-3 days of starting at Children’s Lighthouse, she completely adjusted (few if none tears). The teachers here treat each kid as if their own and you can’t ask for more than that! We love Children’s Lighthouse!

We’ve had such a wonderful experience with our infant at CLH WoodCreek! We have two older kids and they also went to daycare when they were little (different places) but this is the first time that we have truly felt at home with the place we chose. We are so grateful for the loving staff, attention to detail, love and support.

Both our children have been at lighthouse for the past 18 months, at pre-k and after school care.We are all extremely happy with our experience and it has become a second home. There are great acitvities for the kids and the staff and owners are genuine and caring, helpful and overall wonderful. I have already recommended Lighthouse to my friends and family.

My son started preschool here this fall and there’s no other place I would trust to start his school journey. Everyone in the school is friendly and always have a smile on their faces. His teacher, Ms. Susie, is extremely attentive and it’s obvious why all the children seem to love her. It’s only been a few months but we’ve already seen a great change in my son, from his vocabulary to his writing skills. He loves counting to 1000 and has begun trying to read us his books at home and putting letters together to spell words. We couldn’t be happier!

We love CLH-Woodcreek! We feel like family there & both of my kids love going. All teachers are loving, kind, compassionate & provide exceptional care. The director, assistant director & entire management team are wonderful!

My granddaughter has been going to the Children’s Lighthouse for over a year and has enjoyed learning, playing and preparing for kindergarten and now first grade. She’s doing great and loves the caring teachers and staff!! Great environment!!

Moved to the Katy Area in August 2023. Looked at several daycare options in the area. Decided to go with CLWC after carefully comparing each one of the daycares. Very happy with our decision, our daughter loves to go daycare every day and seems to be learning a lot each week. The live camera access is a great plus too.

We LOVE Children's lighthouse Woodcreek! From the owners to the teachers it's been like leaving my kids with family. They love coming here everyday and are always excited to learn and play.

We moved my 3 year old to Children’s Lighthouse Woodcreek from another place down the street and we couldn’t be happier. I’m so thankful that I randomly met Crystal Fritz (Director) found out about this place and took a tour. Ms. Crystal and her staff are incredibly kind, caring, and very knowledgeable about child development. My child’s teachers are absolutely amazing too. She loves going to school and has learned so much since switching here. She’s always telling me about all the activities from painting to carving pumpkins, to all the new books they read and songs they sing. Ms. Crystal and her staff go above and beyond and truly love these kids and you see it from the way they greet you every time you walk through the door to the extra activities they organize to ensure our babies have a love for school starting at a young age. The facility is always clean and very safe. This place feels like family and I’m so grateful for all the love my daughter receives while I’m at work. We love Children’s Lighthouse Woodcreek!

I recently moved my daughters here from a Montessori school. As much as I thought Montessori was best, I am learning that children are capable of learning AND having fun at the same time. My daughter couldn't tell me what she was learning at the other school and didn't seem herself.
This was their 2nd day at Light House and my 2 year old was saying words in Spanish and was singing 2 new songs.
This school has been the best by far for me and my family. I have searched for schools ranging from Katy, Cypress, Sugar Land, etc

Apart from the educational aspect, safety has been my biggest concern. I love that they have cameras and that you are able to walk in and see your children's rooms. I also appreciate the staff, they all know my daughters by name and have genuine interactions with them.

This review will be hard to type up on my mobile phone, but I wanted to let people know that when we changed our son from his previous daycare to here, we noticed a lot of positive and amazing changes. My wife and I feel very comfortable with our 10 month old coming here and you can just tell the level of care and cleanliness is night and day different to where he was at before.

So far in the month our child has been here for the first time in a long time he has not been sick with anything and when we bring him home he is clean and seems very happy!! I would highly recommend this place to friends and family and only wish I would have started my child here instead of the other place.

My daughter has been going here for a while now, and I would have to say that I’m so glad I chose this one. Everyone is so kind and my daughter has learned so fast and so much! I know she will be way prepared when she gets to kindergarten!

This place is hands down the BEST! We have two little boys and have tried several different daycares around the Katy area and we feel like we found a gem in THIS Children's Lighthouse location! Please keep in mind that every Lighthouse is different and independently owned and the owners the Lam family do an incredible job running a well rounded program. The teachers actually care about the education and the well being of the kids, the admin are always thinking of great ways to keep the kids stimulated and involved. My five year old will be starting kindergarten in the fall, due to the involvement and education that he has received I KNOW he is more than equipped to start the next phase! I have nothing negative to say about the ladies and gentlemen of Children's Lighthouse Woodcreek. If you want to feel the ease of knowing your children are in great hands and are actually learning and evolving while you are away, then enroll them here!

A very good place for kids. All teachers and staff are awesome, specially rooms 8 & 9 teachers, they're incredible.
Front desk staff are always smiling and willing to help and guide.
My little one was always hesitant to go to daycare, but after a week in Children's Lighthouse, she was just ready to go right after waking up.

How refreshing to find an Accredited childcare program with very stable staff! It's an old school, 11 years i think. The lead teachers have been here for years, same for the director and assistant director! They care so well and so much for our kids, it's very reassuring. My 10 year old enjoys the field trips now during summer camps, and Mr Chris keeps the kids engaged and safe. The owners of the WoodCreek school care more about the children, parents, and staff than profit like other schools! I warmly recommend the Woodcreek location.
