Went on Friday with a small group of friends. The vibe was nice. They had a gentleman performing live music, and what I found to be great, he gave us historical facts about the music he was playing. Kudos for that! I love to learn! I didn't have the food, but it did look delicious, but the drinks DID NOT DISAPPOINT! This was actually my second time going. I went before on a Saturday for a comedy show a friend hosts there. Didn't eat that night either, but again, vibe ✔ drinks ✔✔🤣 I met the owner the first night I went. Her name escaped my brain at the moment, but she was very kind!

Came here for Kenyan Embassy DC ID/Passport event. The atmosphere is really great, thank you to Owner Laban Opande for hosting the embassy for Kenyans in diaspora to meet our ID/Passport needs. The restaurant/kitchen opened earlier than usual to offer breakfast for Kenyans who came for official business. Over all, a well coordinated, painless, actually joyful event. I'm truly grateful and will be back to Sugars. Thank you to embassy staff from DC and 🇰🇪 and thank you volunteers for coordinating even as you needed services yourselves. Much Appreciated

The Dining Experience was awesome. The owner is a Lady Boss, Ms. Tonie was so nice and personable. The service was great. Darron was a great server, he was fun, attentive and professional. I highly recommend this restaurant. We had a wonderful brunch. The Gospel Brunch was so fun. Great Vibes.

First time being at Sugar’s. I must say it was really enjoyable, it was cozy and very entertaining experience. The Food was great, the staff was very nice and tentative. Not to pricey. Hands free menu that you use by QR code on your on personal phone. If your Claustrophobic don’t attend it’s a up close and personal entertainment. Well worth the admission. Me and my wifey will be attending again in the near future..

The food was great, we had the loaded fries and catfish & grits. We went early evening on a Saturday and there was no crowd. The thing I disliked was there was no host to greet us. We stood there waiting as the workers were laughing and talking among themselves, I think management needs to do a better job with having everyone in position and ready to go when customers walk through the doors. Its just good business practice. Despite that issue, I'm still going to be generous and give this place 5 stars because the food did not disappoint.

I ordered one Friday to support black business week. I never heard of either before. I was pleasantly surprised. On July 18th I ordered the seafood gumbo and the garlic parmesan chicken wings. I have a sensitive stomach and found my choice not too spicy for me. Fast forward August. My son couldn't decide on a place to order his birthday dinner. So I mentioned Sugar's. When he looked at the menu he decided against it because of my palate. It didn't take long to convince him and his dad. We ordered online , he picked it up and every one was happy ! The food didn't make it to be left overs the next morning. Nor a photo.
When the pandemic isolation is over, somebody promised a date night to hear the entertainment.

Had a great dinner. The food was delicious. We ordered to go. The atmosphere was beautiful and the service was great. It wasn't packed. The food was delicious.

OMG...tasty food, nice atmosphere and great prices. Support this business people.

I really ENJOYED myself at Sugars!! The band “Bayou City Brass!!” was the BOMB!! The food service was slow, but they’re a newly established business so that’s UNDERSTANDABLE!! The young man who was our waiter was so kind, sweet, and professional. I had the waffles and chicken and it was DELICIOUS!!! I DEFINITELY will be going back!!!

What an absolute delight. Being greeted immediately with a warm smile and served by Cuban began one of my best dining experiences to date.
The eclectic menu did not disappoint and the flavor was deeply embedded in every dish we ordered.
Cajun pasta, crawfish macaroni, and the fish/shrimp platter. The fish was fried to perfection with flavor only a long time family recipe could yield.
I was truly on the area searching for Indian cuisine, but after our 5th failed attempt, we found this jewel.
It looks like this place is more than just an amazing restaurant, with poetry night, karaoke, and live performances, Sugars has really brought something amazing to the area.
I want to personally thank our Waiter Cuban for an amazing experience, your warm, attentive, patient, service proved to make our first experience their one to have us coming back, time and time again.

This is one of the best kept secrets in Missouri City close to Sugarland. The Sunday Brunch is a full spread of deliciousness! The food is fresh, scrumptious and the ambiance is fantastic. The servers are excellent. Give this place a try. Check them out during the week as well. #SugarsCajunCuisine

Outstanding entertainment venue for grown folk who enjoy great food, fun, great music variety, libations at a cozy, friendly neighborhood spot. Allie and the other staff are excellent hosts who provide a family atmosphere ❤

Sugar's is always a great experience and a good time. The food is very good and the variety of entertainment is always outstanding and a good vibe.

I ordered through GrubHub from this restaurant. I'd never eaten from here before. When I tell you the smothered chicken w/ mashed potatoes was a-maz-ing! Would definitely recommend.

I found Sugar's to be 1 of the coolest spots of its type in Sugarland! The food was authentic and good, and the service was friendly and good as well. What sets Sugar's apart from other similar establishments is the atmoshere! The owner is amazing! She greets you personably as if she has known you for years, even on the first meeting! She follows up frequently to make sure "Are we (she and the staff) taking care of you, or is everything 'real' good?"

My wife informed me that Mike Phillips was performing here, so plans were made for us to attend the show. Our server's name was Tina and we both we're highly impressed with her service. She answered all questions thoroughly, with a smile, and no hesitation. The food was outstanding. The show was amazing as he made that saxophone talk. 😁 The overall experience is worthy of 10 stars. We will definitely be returning. The only bad thing is the hour drive it took to get there.

DEAR OWNERS OF SUGAR'S CAJUN CUISINE, EVER CONSIDER OPENING A LOCATION ON THE NORTHSIDE? JUST ASKING.

I love the size of the place, not to big not too small giving that up close and personal with the artist,the tables seat 4 so you might have to share a table so just bring a double date but either way worth it because the place only accommodates so many people and you have room to breathe just the way I like it with any type of shows, they’re a new place and definitely don’t have it all together as they they where out of a bunch of food items even the key dishes but the wait staff was super friendly and did the best they could with what they had as they where also short staffed, it’s a learning curve for the place and management but we came mainly for the artist Calvin Richardson so if they continue to have name artist we will be the table front row and the management lady and guy who walked around said they will get better and better and did interact & they where genuine, next artist that we are a fan of we will def be the there , not to many places you can get on stage with the artist and take photos, once this place figures it out it will be the hot spot
