nice place to hang out at the curved bar and outside patio. kitsch. bartenders are either very nice or very mean and i like it that way. lots of ladies here and i like that too. large open space for gathering, dancing, or otherwise moving around.

Lindsey is the sweetest, most awesome person ever. The atmosphere, the music, and the people are all great. There is plenty of space inside and out. There's no bar better, in my opinion.

Casino South Side has an OG Austin vibe. Love the jukebox and red lighting. Drinks are actually normal prices. Love that they have a parking lot.

Neil and Dhamon were so friendly and so nice to me! I didn’t know what I wanted to drink and they recommended me a 512 IPA beer that I fell in love with! Great music great people, very friendly vibe! AND it’s dog friendly! Outside patio for smoking and pool table inside for fun! Great experience 5/5.

Friendly staff and patrons. Outdoor seating in the front as well as fenced in outdoor seating in the back. Dog friendly. Small, but good selection of beer on tap. Jukebox and good movies playing on the TVs.

My friend and I went on a Sunday night. It had a good amount of people. Loved the vibe of the place. Definitely a dive bar. It's a dark place with cute frames of old school horror movies. The music is definitely a mix of rock, classic rock, metal, punk and a little bit of old skool rap which you can select from the Jukebox. This bar is definitely for the older crowd. We definitely will be back.

Best bartenders and definitely the best jukebox in S Austin. Divey enough but you don't need to worry about getting mugged or picking up something icky in the bathroom.

Nice people, nice crowd, good drinks. Casino south side really has a vibe of its own. It’s almost like a melting pot of punk, rockabilly, and a lot of in between. They have always given great customer service and I’ve never had any problems there myself, but it’s good to know they don’t tolerate hate of any kind. Great dive bar or place to come after work for a lil happy hour.

Great neighborhood/service industy water hole. Fun reliable staff. They have a Jukebox, pool table, darts, shuffleboard. It's always a blast and a place you can easily become part of their family. Two outdoor patios (front and back) provide plenty of room to hang with the gang!

My favorite Austin bar! It feels like my Atlanta home. Bar staff are excellent. Be on your best behavior because insubordination/bad bar manners will NOT be tolerated.

I've now been well-behaved for several months. The best night is Monday when Joe works -he makes the best cocktails.

Neat little retro haunt. It's always nighttime, feels like the lounge of a 1960's Vegas casino. Service has always been good, drinks are on the cheaper side and not stingy with the pours. Awesome jukebox. Small patio out back and couple tables out front for a scenic view of the freeway.

I've never seen it truly "busy", which to me is a good thing. Not dead by any means, but there's always been somewhere to sit, not waiting in line for a drink, and it's generally a lot quieter/less hectic than the downtown location. If you want a quiet haunt for a few cheap drinks and great music, here's your place.

Cute dive bar, I loved the Halloween decorations. Drinks were good as well, and not pricy. I wish they served food but you're allowed to bring your own food so maybe that's better.

Love these guys. Amazing bartenders that will put up with you, but not your bs. If you are a stupid customer they will not hesitate to let you know and if you are a good customer that tips well you may be occasionally rewarded. They have a new food truck that serves up anything you could want after a smoke or a couple beers. Odd location but so worth it.

Like at the original, it’s always nighttime in there! Cheap & generous drinks. I’d get a burger if they were available, but I’m fine with eating elsewhere & drinking here. Jukebox is great, just like downtown.

Great little retro style dive. Very friendly waitresses and a killer jukebox. Decent selection of Texas beers on tap and a nice patio area. Only complaint is the parking (or lack thereof)

Great local bar in South Austin. Reasonably priced drinks and friendly bar tenders. There is small outdoor seating area and many beer selections. Casino is a good bar for groups and just hanging out!

One of my favorite spots! Great folks tending bar and friendly patrons. Very good drink prices. There's also a well priced food trailer just behind the back patio with excellent eats.

Casino is one of my favorite spots in South Austin. Always a fun and friendly environment. Take some time to get to know the bartenders. They are completely cool and you won't regret it.
