The real BBQ experience is here. These guys have created an amazing experience. And it is worth the wait and you get to meet like minded people. And share your passion for BBQ. The food is legitimate. The Best I have had in Texas. Best Texas BBQ no doubt. I got to ho back for a beef rib. Got there at 7 in the morning. It was Easter weekend so it was probably a little slower than normal. Don't miss this chance if your in the fort worth area for the weekend.

It was our first time at Goldees, we brought chairs and got there at 9 am on a Sunday. At 11 sharp the door opened and the line moved quickly. We were given samples while waiting to order (wonderful). The brisket was amazing and the pork ribs were melt in your mouth. Totally worth the wait.

Honestly, they’re UNMATCHED. Goldees has definitely earned its spot as #1. If you’re a barbecue fanatic, this has to be the one location you have to scratch off the list before trying anything else out. It’s definitely worth lining up for hours. You will not be disappointed.
The brisket was nothing lower than god tier. I don’t think I’ll ever have anything close to that outside of this location. Man, even the banana pudding and bread are made to perfection. That banana pudding is practically all the sweets you want for the rest of the day after you have it.

I can’t forget about the service, they were are all so kind and not lacking any energy. I visited by myself and they really made me feel welcome. I can’t wait to visit again!

#1 Texas Monthly spot was well deserved. Showed up at 10 and everything was available by the time we got our food at around 12:30. Brisket was the best I've had in recent memory. Perfectly cooked. Seasoned amazingly. Pork Ribs were some of the best I've had. Cheesy grits were really good but a bit much after the first few bites. SC hash was good but not amazing. As for the bread pudding. I would commit certain felonies to consume it again. Phenomenal. Amazing. Untouchable. GOATed.

Be prepared to wait - but it’s definitely worth it. We got there just after 9 am on a Friday and we got our food right at noon, so we spent an hour in line after they technically opened. We ordered basically one of everything off the menu and that was the way to do it. Everything was phenomenal! Truly cannot recommend their ribs enough. They were some of the best ribs I’ve ever eaten in my life. And their sides are great too! I loved the beans and their coleslaw.

Absolutely Delicious and worth the wait. We got there about 9 o'clock and we were maybe 20th in line. They offer some folding chairs out front as well. We got the following and it was plenty for 4 people.
2 lb brisket
2 lb Turkey
3 jalapeno sausage
1 lb pork belly
1/2 lb ribs
Med potato salad
Med pork hash
Small cheesey grits
I have to say the turkey was my favorite, it was moist and tender and super flavorful. The pork belly came with a peach sauce that was an amazing pairing as well. The pork hash was great and the cheesey grits are a must. The brisket was good, tender, moist and just fell apart. Goldees is well worth making the journey and I'd recommend it to any BBQ lover. Probably the best BBQ I've ever had.

You will want to arrive early, we showed up 9:30 and didnt get to order until 1 hr after opening.

2 minutes before opening they will come out and announce the specials. Once you are standing right next to the smokehouse you are 45 minutes from entering. There are only 3 parties inside, paying, at the counter, and waiting. Once youre inside you have 3 minutes wait max

The menu has a few items that are temporary, this week it was Hot Links, Peri Peri chicken. The chicken came with an excellent hot sauce that really went well with the other meats.

We ordered Brisket, Sausage, Pork ribs and peri peri chicken. Everything has excellent pepper seasoning and is satisfyingly salty. The glistening coating of beef tallow on all the food really adds to the sumptious mouthfeel.

Brisket beans are, in my opinion, the best beans in all of DFW. Banana pudding was passible. Potato salad is thick, flavorful and loaded with green onion and bacon.

The best meat here is the Brisket and Porkribs.

They cook the Brisket to more than fork tender, and the ribs are sweet and peppery.

Definitely worth coming to town just for this.

1.5lbs Brisket $54
1 link sausage $7
0.5lb pork ribs $15
0.25lb peri peri chicken $8

1 Lg Potato salad $18
1 Lg Brisket Pinto beans $18
1 banana pudding $7
1 soda $2

Total: $139

Great food! The sliced Brisket was wonderful, the sliced turkey was maybe the juiciest I have had at any Texas Craft BBQ and the sliced pork belly was very good with the peach glaze.

For dessert I ordered the banana pudding and is was excellent as well!

Driving up to Fort Worth from Austin and I searched for best BBQ spots. We found this place in a Texas Monthly article- “best in the State.”

It was later in the day so we were running the risk they could be sold out. We opted to go and great experience. While they were sold out of some items - what we did get was great (chopped brisket sandwich; turkey, house sausage and coleslaw). Owners and staff were very kind and friendly. We’ll definitely be back!

Great experience. Of course there was a line but it moved quickly. They do a great job with their brisket. The ribs were okay and I really enjoyed the sides. Their barbecue sauce is really tasty. Goes great with all their meats. They also make their bread in house which is a nice touch.

Very rainy day Saturday.
They have chairs you can use while you wait.
We got there at 8:30am ish and we're one of the first 30-40 people to be waiting.
The employees are soooo friendly and are making conversation with you while they prepare your order!
Everything lived up to the hype in our opinion (meat had insane and delicious flavor not to say they were incredibly soft! And the dessert was insanely delicious too!). We will definitely be back!

In my top 5 BBQ restaurants. I have been watching their YouTube videos for years and finally had some time to try while on a trip to Dallas. This is the real deal. Brisket was incredibly moist, jalapeño sausage were perfectly spiced with that snap at every bite, the ribs had a great taste but could of been a little darker on the outside and there is no words on the awesome banana pudding!

An incredible experience!!! All the food was outstanding. Interestingly, the brisket pintos ended up surprising us the most. They are incredible! Also, the ribs were the best I've ever eaten. Definitely worth the wait and a memory I'll forever cherish with my son. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Whoa! We tried the house sausage, brisket, pork ribs, hash, cole slaw, banana pudding and bread pudding! Everything was amazing! The best BBQ I’ve had in a long time. Staff was so friendly and helpful. Don’t pass this place up!

Hands down, the best brisket in Texas!! The bread is also so good, it's homemade and just perfect. The staff are super friendly too. The beans were super flavorful, the jalapeno and cheese sausage was super good too. The banana pudding and the potato salad was alright too.

Visited Goldees for my first time ever from Surrey BC Canada, 🇨🇦

Loved the Goldees experience. Seeing their pits outside and hanging out in line, meeting locals was great. Barbecue was great, love the Danes as we came in to order. Brisket was 10/10 ribs were delicious, great smoke, great bite. Hard to compare this level of bbq.
Panther city has a few things in my opinion that make is better… but Goldees is still amazing. Only thing that fell short to Panther city was the sausage, and banana pudding.

Had the beef rib also, I prefer brisket over the beef rib…

Oh and the bread was a great addition. It’s great.

First and foremost , loved everything about this place. I tried to gauge the timing based off of other reviews. We got there at 9am and there was about 21 people ahead of us, maybe like 7 or 8 groups. We brought one camp chair with us and borrowed one of there’s (there were still plenty available.
They had porta-potties with hand washing station which was super nice to have they were decently clean. Plenty of parking. Everyone was just hanging out and having a good time.
The pitmaster asked us a few questions like where we’re from and where we heard about them and gave us a sample to taste and then gave us a few extras to our platter which was super nice of them.
Loved everything. Got the slaw and grits for sides - loved both. On Sundays they do bread pudding and I HIGHLY recommend it … wish we had gotten two. That was the clear favorite over the banana pudding. Enjoyed the sausages, pork belly, ribs and of course the brisket.
They also gave an ordering guide on the menu out front which was nice!
So glad we finally got to try it out! Not cheap (spent almost $100) but excellent and makes great leftovers!

It's worth the wait for the #1 best smoked BBQ. We ordered just about everything. It was fantastic and did not disappoint. Our favorite was the brisket with the jalapeno cheese grits side. After all the savory goodness, the banana pudding hit the spot. The team was gracious and allowed pictures while they were working the smokers. I'll be back whenever I'm in Texas. I almost forgot the amazing fresh cooked bread, amazing!

Yummmm great food…. Yeah, waited in line a little over an hour but they have plenty of chairs if you want to sit and I wait in line all the time for concerts—I didn’t mind. The food was really tasty. The pork belly was my favorite with the peach glaze. Their beans are like ranch beans on wonderful steroids! They were out of dessert by the time we got to the front which is a little sad but that’s OK. We’ll try again next time. Seems like great people that do it and the food was fantastic. Give it a try.

Bucket list place, and well worth the wait. Many years ago I thought it foolish to wait on lines like this, I have evolved and thankful for it. Super polite staff and amazing food.

Ps they have a decent amount of foldable chairs for the first 50 or so people.

Nearest gas station for coffee and such is about 5 miles away so come prepared.
