I have to tell you.... I specifically came here for the 99¢ plants on sale and I was extremely impressed with the selection of plants and the healthiest bunches of plants to choose from. I will not be bothering with my local Atwood's in Denton anymore. The staff here is helpful, kind and a true testament to customer service as well. Definitely get the best selection and service at this location!!!

We had a great time looking at everything!! Bought some Banana Taffy,oh so good 😊 Can't wait to go back and shop some more 😁

Update to a current review 12-22-23. I had a family member go into store and purchase a big item for my kids Christmas back on the 14th due to me being gone for work. I went in today and they had (re)sold the item that was already purchased and put back for me.
The manager Josh had made phone calls to other locations and located one, then drove to Gainesville store, picked it up and delivered it to my home. To my home people. I understand the screw up bit this man made it right and delivered it to make sure my customer experience and kid's Christmas was right. I appreciate it sir and wish more retailers and people were this way.

First time inside. Took home body pillow size popcorn bag. They have lots of clothes,big lawn mowers and bee hive starter kits. Plenty of ranch items to buy. Will be back.

Awesome place! Had almost everything I was looking for. Some items don't have the price labeled on them but still I give it 5 stars.

I only go for plants, but they're always well priced, healthy and a good selection.

I love shopping at boulevor no, they have some wonderful stuff in there and I'll let their rings.

This place has about everything you would want from a farm and ranch store. It's a mix between tractor supply and northern tool but bigger!

Shelly Wright in boots and Bret Williamson over seasonal are really great with their customers. Always very helpful and polite. Bret knows his plants with great advice on how to care for them . All the do's and dont do's.. Very informative.. I ask him about everything. The store has lost alot of the pizazz it use to have . staff isnt as motivated or friendly. But these two are great. Ms Shelly a true southern bell. And Bret as charming as they come . Keep up the good work you two. 😊

I always have good experience at Atwoods. Even if todays trip did not work out in my favor. Couldn't find what I needed in my size. But I will go back again.

Its like country Wal-Mart. You can find everything for house, garden or ranch plus lot more. They have Guns working clothes boots, pet supplies and lot more. They have live chicks, we bought three of them. Love this place.

Cool store to go to and walk around and shop at. Friendly staff and good service.

This was my first time to go to Atwoods after some other friends had recommended the place for buying dog food. I did not realize they had so many other items as well. I am legally blind and asked for help and the help was top-notch, friendly, and very knowledgeable help! Even the cashier who wasn't aware of my situation was extremely fast and friendly. And the dogs seem to love the Diamond brand dog food also :-) $25 for a 50 lb bag for high-energy dogs is a great price.

UPDATE: 2022/04/30
I was very unhappy today when going to buy dog food. The price has shot through the roof. The dog food that I normally get was not there once again and the other dog food that normally costs about $23 was now $40. That is almost double what it has been and should be. Being legally blind, I had a guy that worked at the business help me out looking for the dog food I haven't been able to find at Atwoods lately. He was very friendly and very helpful. He did a great job. But when I went to check out with what I finally decided to buy, the girl at the cash register should have been at home. She was too busy talking to a co-worker to help me. Not counting the return cashier, she was too cashiers behind her. I told her I could not see very well and she just kept on talking to her friend and ignoring me. So I just stood there looking at her until she decided she could take a break and ask me if I needed something. I explained to her again I could not see what was on the credit card reader and she just reached over and pushed a button. I don't know what she pushed but she went back to talking to her friend again and another question had popped up or decision that I had to make. It was very irritating because she was just ignoring me and anybody behind me and not paying attention to any customers or her job. She almost seemed irritated that she had to break from talking to the other employee and do something. If I were the boss, I might give her one more chance but if she continued that kind of "work" I'd let her go. She wasn't working, she was socializing and she wanted everybody to wait until she was done. Not cool! It actually makes me want to lower my rating for Atwoods by one star. But since this is just one employee I'm not going to do that yet. It was about 2:00 p.m. when I was at the register she was working at. Actually I just magnified my receipt and it was 204 p.m. I hope somebody up there sees this and has a talk with her. Please excuse any errors because this was written by me speaking into Google Voice to text.

It was great! They had a coupon and I got some things with that. They were very helpful.

Great place, pretty well run... but special orders confuse them.

When in for something really specific. they didn't carry it but the young man stopped what he was doing stocking the shelves walked me all the way across the store to try and help me.

I had a wonderful experience with the staff today in the Lake Worth location. Each employee played a vital part in my experience on a big purchase. They also offer a military discount, which is amazing. They were friendly, fair, timely, and respectful. I had a cashier, both assistant managers, and even the store manager (by phone) working together to resolve my issue. The store was very busy and each employee was working hard to get everyone taken care of. I will be back. Thanks for all the help.
