These folks are one of a kind you cannot get service like this. John hand-picked apart my palate to find the perfect single malt scotch whiskey that could only befit my birthday. I was not anyone special but he sure treated me like I was. The owner Jacques was very quiet during the interaction until I approached the counter. His generosity and insight to why I was purchasing the bottle was above par. He graciously gave to me two glasses for my 36th from another package since he is the owner he can do such things and it was gratefully accepted. Thanks to their kindness I even broke into my birthday present a day early because I just could not resist their generosity. So whether it's your birthday or not please please please take the time to stop into this local and far underrated liquor store, and I promise you will not be disappointed.

This place is legit, albeit unassuming. It’s impressive how good of a selection they’re able to pack into a small place. The staff is knowledgeable and happy to engage in conversation about their selection, I even got an unsolicited sample which was welcomed.

Local trends and options seem to influence what they carry, and I mean that in the best way. Excellent beer selection considering their limited space. Plenty of convenient parking right outside the door.

I called all over Austin looking for this hard to find bourbon. Chris's AT liquor was the only one to have it. They were super friendly on the phone and even nicer in person. They took the time to explain why it was in such short supply too. This store was a great find!

Chris,s liquor store is the best. The owner is just a really great guy, his employees are the best. He stocks his store with all the supplies you can ask for at a great price. This is the only liquor store I will be using for now on!

Great neighborhood liquor store. They always have what I need for a reasonable price and are much better for a quick stop than the big stores. They are always willing to explain their policies as well.
