Kwik Kar Southwest

I’ve been to a couple Kwik locations and this one is by far the nicest and friendliest I’ve ever been. They’ve impressed me with their customer service alone, but the oil change is incredibly fast as well. They’re very kind and informative without being rude. Definitely recommend this place!

My husband and I always have a great experience here. Jerry helped me with my oil change this week and provided great recommendations without overselling. I trust their services are fair and high quality!

This place is highly recommended! I went there for just oil change then they shared some of their recommendations to add what my suv needs to be taken care of, such as cabin air filter and brake fluid flush. I decided to go ahead with all of them and spent over $200. Worth it! Also, just shortly after I arrived, they started working on my car right away. It took me about 30 minutes to wait. Workers are super friendly. I'm very pleased. This place will be my frequent visit!

I was able to get an inspection in under an hour on a Saturday without an appointment. Ken who performed the inspection was super friendly and efficient. I've been here before either for inspection or oil change and I always have a great experience.

What a great experience, service and employees, for a vehicle inspection!! The inside wait room is super nice, clean, has comfy chairs and a coffee bar, sweet!!! Nice outside seating too. I got an inspection in under 30 minutes. Will definitely be back! Shout out to the happy employees!

I was in mega distress when my car barely made it to Kwik Kar’s parking lot .. my car was truly running on prayers.. specially with a little one in tow. Brian was not only helpful and reassured me that he would do his best to figure out what was wrong with my car. After being at two different places being told two different problems and not being able to get on the dealership for at least 30 days. Brian and his peers were able to not only fix my car but gave me the most reasonable price by far! I will be a costumer for life!!!

Awesome AC Service from Brian! We drove in for the wkd from the DFW area and as soon as we arrived our AC stopped working. 104 out without AC and 4 hrs from home. After calling many shops sharing we were in a bind, including Mercedes Benz of Austin, all said sorry can’t help calendar is booked until next week or Aug. But when we reached Brian by phone he was like, hey I get it you’re in a bind so I’ll look at it as soon as you get here. He diagnosed & verified the compressor failed and quickly advised on our options. Brian and team are first class and we really appreciated everything that Brian did to get it working! If you’re ever in Austin and need car service, ask for Brian and you’ll be great hands. If we were local, he would get all our car service business. Nice when you meet someone sincere who just wants to help. Thank you Brian!

Customer service was awesome. My only complaint was that it took about an hour to get my car in because they were pretty packed with folks. I showed up at 8am on a Friday. My skid plate just needed to be adjusted or removed and they were super helpful and quick once it was my turn. Ended up being a no charge fix and I really appreciated their help.

Wanted to give a shout out to the crew that did my Oil change on Sunday. Super nice and very professional. I hope the owners or corporate see this review because I want them to know that the manager or the guy running the show (has been there for 7 years or so from what I recall from our conversation) is awesome. I will be a repeat customer after my conversation with him. Keep it up!

They will get you in and out on the double, your inspection will be issued the same day.

Efficient! They go on a first come, first served basis so no appointments. I was told that people get there right at opening so there is always a little wait, but I came at 10 and was out by 11:30. I called around and other places said the wait time was 3-4 hours or to schedule two weeks out. This is a great go to! My fiancé always uses them and this was my first time.

The most friendly customer service over the phone. They let me know when the best time to get my inspection was for the least amount of wait. When arriving there was a 30-45 minute wait, but they got to me RIGHT AWAY and my inspector, Stephen Larrick, waited patiently while I unloaded my kiddos.

The inside waiting area is very nice with comfy chairs and a good smelling candle, but around the back is an even better outdoor waiting area under a huge tree. My 3 year old played on the rocks and we walked down to their dog park where it is completely shaded.

The checkout was fast and friendly and they took the time to wave goodbye as we left.

I know these are all little things, but in a world where smiling and a helpful friendly voice seem rare it was so nice to experience these things especially when dealing with car maintenance WHILE lugging your kids around.

I can't believe I have lived down the street for 8 years and never been here. Will be back again for my oil change!

They got my state inspection done in less than an hour even though they were pretty busy. Jiffy Lube told me it would take over 3 hours, and Firestone made me wait 4 hours and they still didn’t get it done same day. If you’re getting an inspection or know somebody who is tell them to come here

I get my State inspections done here and it's always a good experience. The staff is helpful and customer friendly, organized and knowledgeable. Sometimes they are super busy, but they can tell you approximately how long the wait might be. The waiting lounge has comfortable chairs, a tv, wifi and sometimes snacks.
