I took my 2016 Honda HRV in because the start button was going out. I’ve lived a few blocks away for like 15 years and I’m really sad I never tried them until now. EVERY employee there is super courteous, knowledgeable, and they get you in and out super quick, and at a reasonable price point. When I see a place have 600 5-star reviews, I’m pretty skeptical they’ve been bought (looking at you Daylight Dental 🤬), but I don’t doubt these are all legitimately happy clients. Thanks guys, I’m psyched to have a solid auto shop in my back pocket!!

I dropped my car off overnight, it took them a little bit to get to it but once they diagnosed it, it fixed the issue quickly. So far the car is running perfectly. The one down side is the labor costs are kind of high, but for the speed of which they turned the car around after diagnosis and the quality of the work so far, I’d say it’s worth it. After hours drop off and pick up really helped make it convenient.

Received quick friendly and professional service for my 2009 Toyota Corolla. Brought the car in for engine check and all the work was diagnosed and completed by the next day - the Auto Tek professionals kept me up-to-date, answered all my questions quickly and clearly, and delivered great service! Will definitely be using them for all future service on my car.

Best shop in Austin with all the fancy tech, they keep you up to date via text and send you a digital record with photos of everything they do on completion. Have it fixed right the first time, and you will save in the end. -J

Cannot commend this shop enough. Stay in touch with you, give you honest pricing and explain the repair process necessary in detail. Took payment over the phone and made sure I would be able to pick up my vehicle after hours so I would have it back for the weekend. Follow up with you through text to ensure your vehicle is still operating properly. This is an honest and professional shop with reasonable pricing and good turnaround time. I will remain a repeat customer.

I recently had an oil change which included a thorough visual inspection of my car. The inspection provided me a list, including photos, of several issues going on with my car--ranging from typical maintenance things (like serpentine belt and wiper blades) to more critical issues. The report and cost estimate were both emailed and texted to me, and James called and walked me through the report and explained everything that was found. All of my questions were answered (James was super patient!!), and I never felt pressured to add on any service. They were able to complete the services I requested that same day. I have also had a prior state inspection done here back in 2022 and also had a great experience at that time.

As a woman, it's sometimes difficult to find an auto shop that won't talk to me like I'm an idiot or try to aggressively upsell. I felt very comfortable here, and James and Aaron were both very kind and made me feel welcome.

Just a note, oil changes were being scheduled out ~6 weeks when I made my appointment, so you'll need to plan ahead. I think they only schedule a certain amount of oil changes a day since they also do the visual inspection/report. I also had to drop my car off before 7:30 am on the day of the appointment and come back and pick it up later in the day (I'm pretty sure I saw a lock box for keys if you were wanting to drop it off after hours, but I'm not 100% sure). This isn't a quick 10-minute drive through oil change type of deal, but I think the quality of service is worth the wait.

I love that this place does a thorough inspection since we haven't been good about doing our recommended maintenance throughout the years. The front desk staff was always friendly and one was especially pleasant. That's not always the norm anymore so I really appreciate it. Communication was great and everything was very professional.

AutoTek never disappoints. Their attention to the customer and their service quality goes far and beyond. They also repair the vehicles pretty fast, as well. I can't recommend AutoTek enough!

Had an inspection for registration and I was in and out in no time! Great shop to get your vehicle back to life. Super staff and auto pro’s. They explain everything and advise of any potential problems!!

Would highly recommend! This has been my best experience at a mechanic yet! They were so clear and transparent about the whole process. They got my car in earlier than they planned and provided me with regular updates. They answered my every question kindly and quickly. I’d particularly recommend Andreah - she was knowledgeable, friendly, and organized. Will definitely be coming back here in the future

HONEST….RELIABLE…. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! Auto Tek has been our family’s go-to for auto repairs many years now. Recently, they did a full check up on my daughter’s 2013 CRV, and they found several issues we decided to get taken care of right away. The result was that they completed work two days before planned completion, and it was $500 less than the original estimate!

My passenger floorboard was flooding, Auto Tech was able to fix it at an affordable price with a breakdown of all other repairs that I may need in the future. Great customer service. I will continue to use them for any issues with my vehicle in Austin. Thank you!

I am trying to get my car back on the road and I was referred here by a friend who recommended Autotek based on both trustworthiness and cost to get the job done. I am so glad that this place was recommended to me, because I had exactly that experience. I live a bit north towards Hyde Park but it feels worth travelling here for any repairs since I don't always feel like I can find the combination of trust and affordability often. Also, both David and Michael were calm, patient and informative as I wanted to know more. They explained things and even helped me to prioritize the repairs needed, knowing that I am on a budget.

the easiest time I’ve had with a car repair place in years!

was told by another shop that my breaks needed fixing, but I didn’t trust them to do it in a timely manner nor communicate well, so I took it to AutoTek since it had good reviews on google. I called ahead of time to make an appt, dropped it off when they said to, and they told me they would call later that day to tell me what was up with the car. they actually called (which may feel like a small deal, but I’ve worked with multiple places that can’t seem to do this), and gave me a reasonable quote on the phone. I accepted it, and got my car back the next day.

10/10 recommend!
