Went into emergency department last night with some of the worst pain I've ever had and I've passed stones. I thought my shoulder exploded on the inside. They got me right back and properly diagnosed turns out I have a accute seized neck/ shoulder muscle that runs over a big nerve that was no where near happy. They where super professional and efficient and friendly thanks to the entire staff for assisting me towards healing

Our baby was born here and we had an amazing experience. We had Doctor Maria Gonzalez who is truly the best. She always remained clam, was caring, compassionate and knowledgeable. Some of the nurses we had the pleasure of having was Fawn, Maddy, and Alicia. These ladies were terrific. They were always quick to respond, kind, and amazingly helpful. If we had the lights off in our room they left them off and did their checks. They we quite when we were trying to rest. Overall just an absolutely great experience. I highly recommend this terrific team!

This hospital has the best labor and delivery floor! All of the L&D nurses are wonderful and caring! We spent multiple days in the hospital, and the nurses took great care of my little guy while he was in the NICU. I couldn’t imagine a better set of nurses. They all truly care about their patients.

If I could give 10 stars I would! The care my Dad received here was BEYOND AMAZING! My Dad was brought in after having a heart attack at the airport! The staff in the ER, ICU, Cath Lab, regular floor, and administration could not have been better! Our family was treated so well! Great communication! Just a wonderful place for healing!

On 8/31/23 while visiting my mom from California whom I met 112 days ago, she described how much pain she was in and it was time to dial 911. When the paramedics came they explained they were going to take her to holy Cross and she shared how much she "hated" that place. My mother has stage 4 cancer and I feared the worst! However the staff could not have been nicer, more professional, and more accommodating! I spent 3 nights and 3 days in that hospital with my mom and the nurses even tried to make me comfortable and I'm not the patient! Dr McDowell was very patient, extremely caring, and very receptive to any questions. To our special nurse Courtney I can't thank you enough! During those 3 days I had a lot of time to read through Google reviews on this hospital and out of the first 24 reviews only three of them were positive.. but people keep in mind we usually post about places when we are angry, when we leave a hospital and are happy to do so! we are usually not focused on giving good reviews so that others might find out how wonderful their services are. Please give credit where credit is due people and once again thanks.. I am blessed that my mom and I have more time to get to know one another.. ❤

My doctors who I see for my Mental Health care are a couple of the most awesome and Amazing people that I have ever met. Puanini (Pua) Spencer and Rocky are very awesome and are quite helpful.

The two ladies working the front counter are also great people. The lady working the pharmacy is also extremely great. Keep up the good work 👏!!

My dad had an amazing time. While trying to heal in the ICU. Specifically Julie and a night nurse Nightingale. My dad isn't the easiest person to deal with when he is confused and everyone here on the 2nd floor of the ICU was amazing. Thank you all for your help with my father and he 10/30/2023

I just delivered the healthy boy from Dr. Stephan Lash at Jordan Valley Medical Center.
It is a wonderful experience as our family felt welcome from the wonderful staffs and experience nurses. Especially, the hospital have one nurse takes care of our baby during the night at nursery center so mommy and daddy can have more rest. I have fully attention during the delivery and post-delivery care!
I hope the hospital will keep up the standard and continue to provide the excellent care for the mom and newborn babies.

I went to the ER and was so surprised to be immediately seen and cared for. The entire staff was not only efficient, but warm and concerned as well. Based on my situation, I was admitted to the hospital for a short stay and some more tests. All along the way, everything was explained to me and each of my concerns was addressed. From the excellent and professional care, to the cleanliness of the facility, and even the surprisingly delicious quality of the food, I found every aspect of my experience above expectations.

I crashed on my bike (bicycle). My thumb wrist and chest really hurt plus I had a lot of road rash. I thought I would be fine but it got worse so I went into the ER. The staff was very friendly and did their best to make me comfortable. They did the necessary testing and found I had fractured my wrist and broke my rib. They cleaned the road rash, splinted my wrist & got me on my way as quickly as possible. However two weeks later I wasn't feeling very well still so I had to go back into the ER. They did a CT scan and because of the broken rib and my not being able to take deep breaths I had developed pneumonia so again they made me as comfortable as possible, prescribed necessary antibiotics & got me on my way. I do have to give a shout out to the ER doctor, Dr Barlowe. He was friendly, compassionate, funny and had a great bedside manner. Also to the admitting nurse the front desk Ladea. Also compassionate, friendly & did her best to get me seen pronto. However I thought all of the nurses there were fantastic. Despite the negative reputation that has been rumored about this particular hospital I have never ever encountered that. My experience has always been very good.

Everyone was so helpful. Terry at admitting was very kind, Cathy in radiology brought me up a wheel chair and was just a ray of sunshine. I didn't catch the x ray technician's name, but she couldn't have done a better job. I have a compression fracture and she was so thoughtful of my discomfort. She took such good care of me. And the results were in my doctor's hands the next day.

I recently spent time in the emergency room and then additional days in the ICU for septic shock. The staff was incredible! Every single Nurse, Doctor, Technician, Janitor and Cafeteria person was exceptional. I felt cared for every single minute and they listened to me and helped me through each concern and worry. I would not hesitate to go there again.

I came in for a scheduled c-section, my nurses were amazing. My husband had caught covid right before we had our baby so he couldn’t be there with me. All the nurses that came to help were so nice and understanding of the situation. I felt like i had a lot of support especially at 1 in the morning when my baby was hungry. Thank you !

Also the only reason I changed my review is because of one of my morning nurses. This hospital is not worth your time. Go to a different one if you can.

Excellent! Outstanding! Every time I have come to this facility I am amazed. This hospital is by far the CLEANEST I have Ever seen. Then you see security walking around, they actually look you in the Eye and smile! It happened more than once, in different areas of this hospital.The check in is fast and Every staff member was very polite ,made eye contact smiling and just showed HUMANITY alive and well . The Nurses are cream of the crop.The Doctors were very personable, and the C.T. Ladies were caring and sweet. Y’all are doing a super awesome job of hiring and training staff ! This place should give tours to some of the other hospitals I’ve been in.!

I was recently transferred from Jordan Valley to Jordan Valley West because they had an ICU room available. I received a temporary pacemaker one day and a permanent one the next day. I had the same staff in the cath lab except a different surgeon each day. I was impressed with the staff and how efficient, kind and caring they were. Both Dr Kenwood and Dr El Haddi were kind and explained everything. I was in ICU for 2nights and couldn’t have ask for better care. Both nurses Loretta and Stephanie were attentive, kind, efficient, caring, and made my stay the best it could have been. The CNA, Karyn was so helpful and attentive. Overall my experience at this hospital could not have gone better. Thanks for everyone involved in my care. You were awesome!!

The maternity ward at Jordan Valley Medical Center - West Valley Campus is amazing! I just delivered my third child there and everyone is just as kind and caring as the first time! My favorite doctor is Dr. Gayle Stewart and Mer is the best anesthesiologist! Debbie is the kindest nurse and Patty the hardest working, though all of the nurses went above and beyond to take care of me and my new daughter (and two sons in previous visits)! I love you all!

I had a great experience at your facility with Dr. Kent Smith. All the nurses and techs were great as well. Dr. Smith explained everything thoroughly. Even mentioned finding something in the upper small intestine which I suspect was there 6 weeks ago when I had the same procedure done. Thank you for being so thorough!

Everyone throughout the whole process was wonderful. Checking in was a breeze with friendly staff. The Radiology waiting area was clean with outstanding staff. The wait was very minimal before getting me ready for an MRI. The tech and the PA in the back were very professional and explained everything in a way I could understand while injecting my shoulder with dye and local anesthetic. The tech for the actual MRI machine was great too. He made sure I was as comfortable as I could be in the MRI machine. He tucked me in with a nice warm blanket, and kept me up to date about how much time was remaining. Overall I would rate this experience and staff a 5 out of 5. Great job team, thanks for making me feel special, and comfortable while going through a not fun experience.

Unfortunately, we had to take a visit to an ER with my grandmother recently. After hearing how fantastic the West Valley ER has become, we decided to take her there. Best decision ever. The entire team’s level of care & communication was impressive. Everyone that came into the room was genuinely nice and moved the process along quickly. Everything was explained so clearly by Drake the Doc and Steele the RN that we could not think of any additional questions to ask. It makes the world of difference visiting a strong, talented team like that during scary life events. Thanks for taking care of our grandma.
