Ron's Red Bird Cafe

This is a small town watering hole that has a lot of character. The service and food were really good. It's a little out of the way unless you live there but if you are passing through it's worth a stop.

A must stop on our 66 travels. Good food and a friendly staff.

It is a very clean and quick service restaurant and friendly supportive staff.

I love ❤ Ron's Red Bird Café ... well worth the drive... in fact the drive is what gets one ready to prepare what the have from their selection to choose from... my favorite is the WESTERN OMELET with salsa and sour creme... gotta love them as well as the positive staff... simply put, good old small town environment and feel... I wish Carlinville had one... surely it would be a win-win for all... Y'all take care now!

Good service and atmosphere. Good food and pricing. Daily specials change and are your best bet. Doesn’t get any better than a small town diner.

We moved hear about a year ago. This was our first time trying Redbirds. We’ve been trying to find a good burger. THIS IS THE PLACE. Great customer service as well. We will definitely be repeat customers.

First time in Girard, Illinois. Amazing hospitality at this delicious diner! The ribeye and eggs with hash browns was fantastic. If I lived in Girard or the surrounding area I’d be here at least once a week!

We stopped at Ron’s on our way to St. Louis. It’s a bit off the beaten path but totally worth it. Staff was very friendly and food was delicious!
