Steve was so helpful! I needed new parts for a device. He had the perfect idea to replace them with better parts than what came with the original device. Great customer service!

The product I was looking for was available when I called. The employee immediately offered to hold the product at the register for me. At the store the employees were friendly and offered to assist me without being overbearing. Great experience.

I stopped in Foster’s Ace Hardware to possibly pick up a few things to help solve my plumbing issue and some out of control weeds. I cannot put into words the amazing assistance and expertise I received from Mr. Steve. He truly knows his craft and was a blessing to me during each visit. Thank you Steve!

I am repairing some damage that occurred when water seeped into my subfloor due to rotting wood under my front door. I searched online for how-to and products to repair it and found PC Petrifier. Everybody had it, but not in stock - except for Foster's. I ran over and got some. Thanks to Foster's carrying almost everything you could need I did not have to wait for it to be shipped.

I went to Ace today to get long pvc pipe to put my tumbler cups on when spray painting. This great guy name Steve assist me with what I needed. Then I ask him if he knew an expensive way to make a stand to hold pvc pipe in place, this is what he came up with. Thanks Steve!

Great store for all your wooden work projects. Employees are very friendly and they are ready to help anytime at the same time giving enough space to make our own selection.

I had an issue trying to size a hose from the water valve to the refrigerator. After a couple of trips back and forth getting closer to answer Steve was very helpful and knowledgeable. We finally properly sized both pieces and he helped manufacture me a part that would connect a 1/4 hose to a 5/16 water port. I would’ve thrown in the towel if it wasn’t for him.

I went to Ace today and a guy named Steve helped me. I was not sure what I need, so I just showed him sweat l needed to connect and what it was for. He went straight to the plumbing dept and found two parts that I need. It was so fast and easy and he was pleasant. He even took the time to actually put the two parts together to show me how it would work. I went away feeling confident that I could do it. Thanks so much Steve! You are the best.

Even though the manager was rushing the worker, he said that he would come back and help me when he got off the clock, which was closing time. He did come back but I had already finished the job, but I did pay him for helping me💙🙏

Exemplary customer service! Call and get a real person, not a phone maze. No thirty minutes or longer wait on hold, like their bigger competitors with the same or better pricing on the items I've purchased so far. In the store, everyone from the owner to the employees are friendly AND helpful. Dealing with and visiting Foster's has been a pleasure, as it should be and I appreciate them!

Probably a little more pricey than a big box store but there are actual HUMANS available to answer questions, lead you to an area a needed item is and even offer suggestions. Has a small town hardware store feel. Employees seem to like their jobs so hopefully they are treated well. If they don't have something and can't think of a substitute they have available they'll point you in the direction of a likely solution.

We would like to sincerely thank Steve and the excellent staff at this Fosters hardware store.He helped us to brainstorm ideas and parts for converting a standard transport wheelchair into an all-terrain wheelchair.We only had a few days to complete this project but got it done.Thank you also to the two younger staff associates who assisted Steve in this wheelchair modification.This Ace hardware location has always been a staple of the south arlington business community and remains as the best hardware store for this area.Sincerely,Ian&Mel

Had a broken flip key call the dealer ship wanted 357.00 to replace it!! They replaced it for under 100.00!!! ACE IS THE PLACE.

I really do love the mom-and-pop shop feel of Foster’s Ace. Everyone in there is very friendly and always willing to reach out and help customers who are having to look around for merchandise. Very friendly staff, one of the few shops that hasn’t been bought out by a big box store. I will gladly pay a couple bucks more here at this store than go to Home Depot or Lowe’s. And they really do have probably 90% of what you’re looking for when you go to either of those big box stores. Please don’t let this place go out of business 👍🏻

Great service and they helped deliver my grill to my house

Young man carried sand to my car he had good customer service. Cashier was a little awkward and staff was otherwise all standing around near the entrance. But the young man was quick to answer my question and helpful

I went in on a Sunday morning right at opening looking for a particular item. I was greeted by several people upon entering the store. A young man asked if I needed assistance. I showed him a picture of what I was looking for and he pointed me in the exact location immediately. I got what I needed and checked out in about 2 minutes. Good service that the bigger home improvement stores can’t match.

This is the place you go when you need that one special item. Sure it might be a buck or two more than the big box stores, but these folk are courteous and very helpful. Definitely know where things are so you can get in and out and back to the project. I do recommend this outfit.

Steve was excellent! I came in with a DIY issue and he gave me such great options to complete it. I am so happy he was working this time!
