Love a dive bar and this is it. We decided to go last minute and was not disappointed. The bartenders were extremely polite and the crowd was eclectic. You have a great mix of people to share the dance floor with. Other comments complained about the type of music played but it’s easy to look up the band playing that evening. Definitely recommend to everyone.

This a great dive bar in the best sense of the word. From cowboys to bikers to Gen Z to baby boomers...you never know who you might run into.

Great outdoor space, great live music, and cold, cheap beer. Why don't you wander on in, mosey up to the bar, and order a Hard Luck 🙂

I truly enjoy this bar and there isnt anyone here. The atmosphere alone as soon as you walk in makes you think "I'm ready to two-step" old style texas bar with a great dance floor. I didnt even want to drink, but here i am. Enjoying their oldies on the juke. Ill have to come up to this place as much as i can now

Great indoor & outdoor dive venue with a pretty worthy dance floor. Had to step up and show these hipster trendy Tuesday-night "dance" lesson dancers how to actually 2 step - whatever they're doing just ain't it. At any rate, fun staff, spacious seating, masks required, EXCELLENT food truck on-site. Tender Thighs deserves their own 5-star rating. I'll do it as soon as I find 'em. D-licious. No one seemed to be savvy to eating inside, but you'll never know if you don't ask! Great place. So many bands, vendors for the market, & a great fundraiser tonight for the Terlingua Fire Department. Definitely our kind of place with a variety of music on the menu from country to heavy. Come check this place out if you haven't already!

One of the few places to find old Austin vibes. Great venue and dance hall setup. Big yard area when the weather's good.

This place is a gem! These pics are from early in the night, before the band came on and people were dancing. Didn't even go out onto the large patio/outdoor area but it looks great too. Beautiful place! I look forward to spending many evenings here

Went there to listen to Los Pinkys! Huge dance floor, pretty stage, nice long bar. Friendly bartender. I look forward to returning soon.

Really cool spot with pool tables and live music. We came on a Tuesday and had a great time!

I love the western vibe and it's huge for an indoor live music venue. A blues rock band played all night, it was great.

Plus, there's a really good fried chicken truck in the back.

Had a blast performing for their Oct 24th rock party. Very nice people. Not too crowded. And a cool swap meet in the back.

Great venue in South Austin for Live Music! Also the food truck has good burgers

Great new saloon/concert hall in South Austin that will provide a very authentic Austin live music venue scene. The bartenders here are very friendly and attentive; some of the best I’ve experienced in Austin. They also have a lot of seating both indoor and outdoor and everyone here just gives off a very chill friendly vibe. There beer taps are also all local Texas beers, which is nice touch to this already Texas style saloon. 10/10 recommend if you’re looking for a great place for some live music and dancing!

The owners of this place also own The White Horse in East 6th, and they are veterans at curating authentic honky tonks that support local musicians (some of Austin’s most talented) and small business food trucks (definitely Austin’s hardest working folks)! 🤠

People often are taken back at how genuine the staff is, how unpretentious the dancers are, and how skilled the musicians are at their craft. 🤩

Everything about this place is great. Friendly intelligent staff, comfortable yet spacious area with two stages, one intimate, the other full on, excellent sound and lights on both. Old school Austin, bring yer friends.

Best little honky tonk punk rock n roll bar south of the river.

Had my wedding here so I love it for reasons beyond grabbing a drink and a show, but I really do have a damn good time each visit.

Dog friendly patio, great dance floor, local draft selection top notch. If you want to see what’s really going on in the Austin music scene, Sagebrush is your place. Go if you haven’t been!

My GF and I checked out Sagebrush last night for the first time. We had a great time! Sagebrush requires all people to wear a mask if they're on the dance floor or ordering drinks or just moving about, which I really appreciated. Floor is plywood but that means that the big dance floor is wood! There was a fabulous band last night Linda Gail Lewis, who is Jerry Lee Lewis's sister. Super tight band playing mostly swing music. The cover was only $5. Drinks are reasonably priced and even more reasonable during happy hour. We will definitely be back! And we will give that Cajun food trailer out front a try next time :-)
