TownePlace Suites by Marriott Austin South

We had a phenomenal experience staying at the Townplace Suites. Morrison was at the front desk the evening we arrived and the morning we left, and he made us, and our 3 year old son in particular - feel seen, special, and loved. It was clear Morrison thinks about the guests even when he’s not at the hotel. He got a special gift for our son the day we left, and our son lit up and jumped into his arms every time he saw him! Whenever we are in Austin, wherever Morrison is is where we will be staying!

Rooms were nice clean with a big comfy bed well lit parking lot staff were friendly and breakfast was great

I came for a group conference and we had everything under one roof. The experience of the friendliness from the entire staff to the quality of the food was exceptional.

A beautiful hotel with super friendly and helpful staff! Convenient to the airport and easy access to the highway, nearby stores, and a gas station. The room was nicely appointed with many features like a full kitchen, lots of drawers and well organized closets would make a long stay very comfortable. The commitment from the staff to provide additional kitchen items on a first come first served basis is really nice. A 24/7 gym is a plus. Even though my room was close to the highway it was very quiet. The bed was super comfortable. The space seemed to have lights in all of the right places including the closet. The couch and bed had lots of extra pillows. The two suites in the corners share an ante room from the main hall that would be great for families. While I only spent a night, I will be back soon!

Fantastic property in South Austin. Everyone on the staff from check in to check out went above and beyond to make recommendations about the area and were eager to assist if every a problem did arise. The rooms were immaculate and the beds extremely comfortable. Each room comes with a fully stocked kitchen to really make this feel like a home away from home. Breakfast is served daily and had great options from scones to Chiobani Greek Yogurt. I will absolutely stay at this property in the future

Kristen helped us block rooms for out of town guests for my son's wedding. She and her staff were very responsive and helpful. We enjoyed a small late afternoon meet-and-greet with our guests in the breakfast area, which was a very nice extra accommodation. Thank you so much!

Beautiful & clean property, in a great location. Front desk staff at checkin & checkout were very friendly & efficient, and even followed up with me after I left something in the room. Highly recommend a stay here.

I stayed here one night and it was a great experience. Fast check in, hotel is about 2 years old and I being kept in spotless state. Rooms have a kitchenette, they are clean, new design, A/C working perfectly, TV great size with good content.

Overall, pleasantly surprised with the staff and facilities, keep up the great job!

Stayed last weekend. Very nice Property, very clean, Fresh. Built only 2-3 years ago, so Property is in excellent condition. Customer Service was excellent. They upgraded us to a higher category to honor our reservation as the specific category was overbooked. Will be back in future for sure.

We loved everything about this hotel! Front desk ladies were very welcoming to us and our pups. They welcomed our pups with doggy treats. The hotel suites are very clean, beds are very comfortable, and they have all amenities like a home (fridge, freezer, stove, cooking pans, plates, cups, silverware, dishwasher, a kitchen sink, microwave, toaster, and a small coffee machine. The rooms look are pretty much new since it’s a new modern hotel. I give this place a 5 star and more, I highly recommend it!

Excellent location! 10 min from the airport and 10 min from the downtown and mall. A bunch of places nearby to shop and eat. Super clean, employees were wearing masks and following covid protocols. Great water pressure, spacious rooms, complementary breakfast, pool, laundry, gym, and what a nice patio with fire pit! Definitely enjoyed my stay here and felt like home!

This hotel is super clean. The rooms are very quiet and comfortable and the amenities are excellent. I want to bring special attention to Brent, one of the excellent front desk staff members. He is simply awesome. He's very kind, considerate and was focused on our comfort and safety. All of the hotel staff was excellent to us, including the housekeepers. The manager, is doing a fantastic job with the upkeep and guest comfortability of this hotel. There's a weight room, laundry room, business center desk and ample room to sit in a quiet place and have a meal or to unwind. And within a two minute walk are two restaurants to eat at. I highly recommended staying at the TownPlace Suites, South Austin, TX.

Great stay - near South Congress shops without being in it all. Tucked away. The luggage carts could be better, disliked that they were like airport smart carts. I'm moving cross country and brought more luggage in my room then an average trip and it was a pain.

I'm very impressed by this hotel. It has all COVID safety protocols in place. It is very modern/contemporary in the design. The staff was very nice and helpful.

I didn't use any of the entities, but they have a pool, outdoor for pit, a workout room, and breakfast.

I only drank their coffee and it actually wasn't too bad. I was surprised.

I would stay here again.

Best hotel experience in a long time. Front desk staff was very helpful, rooms were exceptionally clean and quiet. Bed was very comfortable and room had full kitchen w/ full size fridge. Really liked the shower setup too. Wish I could live here to be honest. Will definitely try other TownePlace Suites when I travel elsewhere and stay here any time I'm in Austin again.

Awesome location! Easy access to I-35 and downtown Austin. The staff was friendly. The grab and go breakfast has a lot of different options. We loved that we had full-sized appliances in our suite enabling us to prepare our own food. The pools isn’t that large but it was very clean and super refreshing! There was a nice space to sit outside with a fire pit. The rooms were so clean. The tv was large and cable offered HBO and more great choices. The shower was our favorite. The bathroom design was modern and the toiletries were top shelf. We were both in Austin for work so we enjoyed the free WiFi and the availability to sit in the quiet lobby to work. Our next stay in Austin will be here!
