Little Zilker Park

I love our park, which is next to Zilker Elementary. We have lived here 19 years and loved it. But the only things that have become a problem in recent years have been unleashed dogs (NOT an off leash park and not a “dog park”… it’s a park) and pickle ball players. NEVER had issues with tennis players. But we have even had pickle ball players urinate on a tree by our backyard, facing my kids bedroom. They start playing on weekends at 6:30 - 7 am screaming and carrying on like it’s the middle of the afternoon all star game. All we ask for a little respect….9 am on a weekend too much to ask? Please be kind neighbors and considerate of others, so everyone can enjoy our sweet park.

Awesome park if the law breaking dog owners keep their dogs on leash! One guy's dog ripped out the eyeball of another dog and the guy refused to pay vet bills!!
Hopefully once the off-leash dogs stop tearing apart the park, will be able to get some soccer fields there and the baseball fields used again.

It's a good little spot for neighborhood folks to bring their doggies. It's not exactly off-leash but people let their dogs play together anyways, myself included.

Another great place to hang out. They have two public tennis courts in good condition. Lots of families and dog walkers. People also like to take outdoor dance/stickfighting? classes here.

Great little park! It is street parking but they have a great playground for kids, large field for dogs to run around in. They even have two tennis courts! Definitely a fun place to spend a Saturday morning!

Wonderful neighborhood park, but please note: This is NOT a dog park! Most neighbors would prefer you not bring your off leash dog here and dominate the field at the expense of the majority of the neighborhood.

Nice little dog park with small soccer field, basketball court, and playscape. Lights on tennis / pickle ball courts stay on in the evening which is great!

Little Zilker has everything a small neighborhood park needs. Walking path, 2 tennis courts with lights, lots of play areas for the kids.

There is a crazy old man that follows people with unleashed dogs around while calling them fascists, but I guess every park needs a lovable senile geriatric as well (I aspire to fill the role myself one day).

People care about this park. It's in great shape and I've never seen an unbagged dog poop. 5/5

Beautiful park in beautiful area, next to an even more beautiful neighborhood. Looks like a wonderful place to bring your children, and let them meet ot other children their age. #Starseeds look like the residents in this area💗🙏

Little Zilker Park is a playground and a park by Zilker Elementary school. The playground is great. Two sets of swings for little and bigger kids are always the highlight of our time there. Park is safe and well maintained.

The playground at this park is very up to date. Always has friendly kids playing there. The parents of the neighborhood are very friendly also.

Elementary school playground tucked away in the South Lamar suburban spread. Good place for kids, dogs and the once-monthly basketball pickup game.

Excellent park with lots for little kids to do. Fun to watch and ride the train.

Nice place to spend time with a family, especially if there are kids.

After 9 years, still my daughter's favorite playground. She loves the ninja warrior like obstacles
