Dittmar Neighborhood Park

This park is really cool - it’s very open and I had a pleasant time there. Great place for social distancing if u want. There is a Gaga ball court and boy did I wish I had a ball so I could jump in and play! Anyways the grills are closed for corona so if you DO decide to pack a picnic, might I suggest a cheese plate or something

Great court to play basketball and volleyball.

Very nice park..... spacious and lots of shade.

Very beautiful,family and pet oriented.Public but private, SAFE and plenty of activities for people/animals of all ages.

A fun nice calm track to walk alone or with your furry friend. Lots of space in the center for many activities too. The park is quite nice and in season the pool is nlt bad either.

We love Dittimar park! With it's large parking lot, clean indoor restrooms, field to run, and high towering playscape, this is perfect for a family visit. There are working fountains and walking paths, and a smaller play area for the littles as well. The only thing I wish it had was big kid swings -it has some baby swings.

They have a beautiful gym for drop in pickleball.

My family lives near this park and we love it. The playscape is varied and creative so it's a lot of fun for the kiddos. I appreciate the availability of water fountains and restrooms for the kids. We also love that the park includes a large field and trail, as well as the pool in summer. We have had consistently good experiences here!

Nice small quaint Family oriented park. Swimming pool, gravel track for joggers, small wooded trail, and plenty of jungle gym stuff for the kiddos. Also a basketball court and preschool available if I'm not mistaken.

Great place to bring my 18 month old to play. They have a section of the playground for the little ones who can't climb on the larger play structure yet. The large soccer field and gravel track that's shaded by trees is also a plus.

Nice pool, shady and sheltered for shallow section, small swimmers stay safe, staving off severe sunshine

A good, convenient neighborhood park.

Walking trail is usually in good shape, and when rain washes out parts of it, repairs are generally done quickly.

Our little one likes the playground, though the swings could use some shade during the hotter months.

The gym at the rec center is meh, but it's free so one really shouldn't expect much anyway. Basketball courts seem to be in pretty good shape.

The pool is great during the summer (and free!). Perfect for kiddos.

It was a cooler weather day but a nice day for our nearly 4 month old puppy's first trip to a park. There's a nice track that's great for walking around and the little piece of wooded nature let's you see squirrels and birds. I always enjoy walking over to the park and back from my home and now my pup goes with me.

Large campus with playground, soccer field, running track, grills, disc golf baskets, and a large playground.

Inside they offer several free/cheap classes, a basketball gym, and daycare. Decent parking lot, friendly and helpful staff.

I've never been to their pool.

This place is great. Pool is available during warm months. Indoor basketball court. Weight room very small but you are still able to workout. Mainly upper body. Overall a fine place.

Dittmar is genuinely a great place. The pool is nice and usually well kept, the park is one of the better playgrounds in south Austin. It's all around a lot of fun for kids. I really recommend.

So grateful for the lifeguards who are working there! Without them, there wouldn't be pool days!

We love Dittmar District Park! It has a nice dirt track with some fabulous trees, space to run or play soccer, some trails to explore along a creek bed, plus a playscape with varied activities and textures for kids. It's right next to Dittmar Recreation Center, as well as Dittmar pool which is open seasonally. LOVE having this in the neighborhood!

Tons of grass and trees! And swings and trails and weird wooded alters and a pool and a track and bbq pits and a creek and an indoor basketball court and and and.,…y’all get it. It’s a deceptively tiny looking but actually huge park with all the amenities of a rec center.

This little park is great for 6 and 3 year olds. They even have a gravel running track if one wants to use that also. There are a couple frisbee golf holes too.
