Nicholas Dawson Neighborhood Park

One of my favorite hidden gems. Like honestly don’t leave trash here or I’ll find you :) 2 lovely picnic tables, a swing set, plenty of room to throw the ball, connects to a back trail and wraps through an awesome stream with hidden waterfalls and secret garden steps…I’ve said too much just go ok

Great for a little walk with your dogs (on leash). I love the creek - I grew up swimming in it.. On the 3rd street side, there are pic-nic tables, a swing set, doggie bags, and a really cool mosaic trashcan! The neighbors have done an incredible job maintaining and caring for the park. On Earth Day, everyone goes down there together to pick up trash together.

My son picked this location to meet for Mother’s Day because it was perfect weather and close to Guero’s Cantina. The people in the park were respectful of the quarantine recommendations, there were park benches and tables available for our picnic, and it was calm and peaceful. I am very glad that my son found this spot to unwind and celebrate a special occasion.

P.S. The Tex Mex and Pellegrinos were great!

Lovely little park in the heart of the Bouldin Creek neighborhood. Nice for a quick neighborhood dog walk or the kids playground.

Packages are backing up very secluded and small as it should be. It's adorable. Don't park in the neighborhood
