This is a great park to come to with the family, friends, your dog or dogs or if you just wanna get some solo time in. They have great walking trails with open fields to enjoy and a playground with bathrooms close by. Picnic tables are available as well and they have basketball courts and tennis courts also. My favorite part is the 18 hole disc course they have here, it's a lot of fun and a great way to get some exercise in. They also have some creek spots available for some fishing as well. Check it out, it's a fun place to visit!

Great spot to bring my 7 month old pup to gain trust with her off leash! She loved playing in the water and getting to explore as I walked close by. For water crossings there are some rickety boards laying across to walk over which is actually kinda fun. There are one or two gaps in the fence so if your dog likes to bolt, beware.

I love taking my dog here. There are several different size loops to take your dog on. There are plenty of trash cans around to drop bags into. There are not a lot of bags available (one minor criticism). The park is definitely trails you can take, there aren't many large open spaces for a big gathering. There are multiple creek crossings, so dogs can get messy, but the dogs love it.

Love this off-leash park! It is about 5 minutes away from my house and I've been trying to take my pup once a day, for the last couple of months. She loves making new friends and everyone has been super friendly in the years I've been coming. There are a couple of holes in the fence, so beware if your pup likes to take off.
There are part with some standing water where the adventurous pups can cool off.
I wouldn't recommend coming here after dark as it is super dark.
The only thing I hate about it is that they don't pick up the trash enough. I wish they would empty out the cans more often!

My dogs LOVE this park. Great place for them to run. My favorite things:

1. It is fenced in. Though there are a number fence gaps to be aware of if you have a dog that's constantly testing a perimeter.

2. There are multiple water crossings for them to cool off in. This a must for my dogs when the temperature starts to climb. Though I definitely hose them off before they can come back in the house.

3. Trash cans to disposed of waste are stationed at multiple points along the trail.

4. Off leash!!

Be aware that there is poison ivy when that's in season. And its a cedar forrest, which can pose its own problems for those with an allergy.

It's a great place to let you and your dog get some fresh air and nature. No one has to wear a leash! The trails are well maintained with plenty of space within a fenced in area for your dog to stay busy as long as you want them to.

Small Creek runs inside the area and is such a great place for your pups if they want to splash and cool off during hot breezeway of Austin. Like the name says, you can have your pets off the leash. Your pets can socialize with other pups too. It's usually not that crowded and can explore the area as much as you like. You may want to bring water for yourself and your pup as there's no drinking water source inside the area.

As long as my dogs don't sniff too much, it usually takes 40ish mins to walk the main trail. Be warned if you visit after it rains it will be muddy and you may not want to come

Great spot tucked away in South Austin! The owners and their dogs are so friendly, and the trail is surprisingly quiet for being right off of a busy road. Careful if it has rained recently - you'll need good hiking shoes because the mud is very clay-like and sticky. I wouldn't bring a long hair dog here when it's muddy, but this place is a real gem!

Love it here, one of my favorite dog parks! My dogs have a blast every time we come and leave with nothing but smiles on their cute, furry faces. Would avoid after a rain shower, or else you will have a huge amount of mud caked onto your shoes.

The other dogs we have come across as this park have always been well behaved. My dogs love saying hi as we walk past.

This trail is pretty well kept and a great place to bring your dog to!

Be aware there will be mud; lots of mud, of it if it rains.

I took my senior Staffy here for her first off leash outing and at first she wasn't sure at first but she quickly warmed up to the experience and loved the hike. She met some really friendly dogs and was so well behaved. I loved the walk in a peaceful quiet park. The experience made new so relaxed and peaceful. Will be back on a weekly basis.

So fun! My pups and I had an amazing time. We went at 6pm and it seemed busy. Lots of friendly dogs and people. There are creeks for my pups to splash in and cool off. There seemed to be sufficient shade but there are stretches of sunny spots. Dog poop station right at the entrance.

This is one of my favorite places in Austin. I can let my dog run around off leash and she is quite safe. There is a creek running through the park as well. In the springtime there are always fireflies. The sunsets are unmatched. It's a little bit if nature right in the middle of S. Austin.

Pretty nice! It is all fenced in and whatnot so you can take the leash off of your dog. It's like a big loop around back to the entrance. It's a little muddy when it rains, and there are creeks with wooden bridges over them. There are also trash cans along the way so you can deposit your animal's leavings in there. They have plastic bags at the entrance, so you ought to take one if you forget to bring your own.

Not crowded but can get really muddy after a hard rain. There are a couple streams but no falls. Definitely off leash, good shade along entire trail.
