Alabama National Cemetery

December 16, 2023. The wreath ceremony was today. It's so beautiful .

We was there yesterday for my cousins burial service. The campus grounds are well taken care of and manicured. The American flag was being flown at half staff. We was lined up in our vehicles and escorted to the outside burial location. Then we walked to the outside chapel area. There were soldier's in there uniforms, they saluted the coffin, removed the flag and folded it very specifically. They presented the folded flag to his wife with a verbal condolences from The President of the United States. A bugler played Taps and this was very serene. We then was escorted to his final graveside. A peaceful area indeed.

Memorial Day visit. Employees very helpful. Grounds clean and well kept. Finding a friend or acquaintance easy with the locator at the office.

Thank the Sfaff for the Wonderful Job they do in maintaining the Grounds. The entire Grounds are " Pristine" with the care that is given ! So Peaceful, Clean & Respectful!! Thank you all for such a Beautiful. Caring , Job!! May God continue to Bless & keep each one of you!!

It's is a beautifully kept cemetery. With all the wreath on every headstone.

Extremely well-kept property. Landscaping staff is phenomenal. Cemetery staff is friendly and helpful.

It has been a year since my mom passed and even though I hate the fact that she not here I am so glad that she is buried here so I know her grave will be CONSTANTLY taken care of, if I was forced to give a complaint I think the only thing I could come up with would be how strict they are on the flowers, but at the same time I understand why it's that way

At the Alabama National Cemetery we were treated with respect and kindness as we grieved the loss of my father-in-law in 2010 and my mother-in-law in 2023. The burial ceremony is simple and meaningful and the servicemen and women who performed it were perfect in their bearing and in the performance of their duty. We are very grateful to the United States Navy for the honors shown. It is a blessing to know our loved ones were laid to rest in a dignified manner in the very beautiful surroundings at the Alabama National Cemetery.

My pop's and mom is buried there. Beautiful sad place.

This place is beautiful. They spare no expense in the upkeep and for good reason - to honor our war veterans. The new scenic view area overlooking Shoal Creek behind the cremains memorial is amazing

When my dad passed his funeral was handled quickly and of course I have my complaints because "nothing is good enough for my daddy" lol but overall I'm proud of how they take care of everything on the grounds I love the patriotism I experience everyone "I visit daddy"

This place is a treasure. it is a vast memorial to the people that served our country in its time of need. I have enjoyed visiting each Memorial Day.

Lovely and peaceful. This is a very large cemetery of 479 acres. It's a perfect resting place for military, and spouses can be buried there also. Be aware that there are no benches out among the grave sites. If you are attending a burial there, you will need to follow all instructions, all enter the cemetery in your cars at the same time, and most importantly - be on time. Once you're there, you'll find this is a moving memorial of those who've served our country.

Beautiful grounds. Well maintained with easy access to graves sites. Staff are very polite and helpful. They have even given my father n law a ride in a mini golf cart when he didn't have his walker.
