Best salon I've EVER been to. Amanda is a hair magician. And she works like it's nothing for her. She's a total natural with hair. I'm obsessed. She gave me an entirely new look. I will NEVER go to any other stylist. She listened to me all the way thru. Did exactly what I wanted. It is also wonderful that her prices are great! This is THE place in Austin for difficult children. Jenna is patient and calming, and works hard to accommodate children with certain needs. Our son trusts her so much, and our family appreciates all she has done. Cannot recommend any higher.

I’ve been going to Amanda as my hairstylist for over 10 years. She is really good at relating to the client and talking to them, making the visit about them! She’s friendly, kind and understanding.

She finds out what you want and since she’s been doing it for so long, she knows how to give you what you want.

She also doesn’t charge as much as typical salons with her amount of expertise, do!

I just recently got a cut from her, where she shaped up my hair and gave me layers and side swept bangs. I’ve been getting compliments with my hair in a PONYTAIL. she’s that good. If you need a good hairstylist, say yes to Amanda!

I met Amanda earlier this year through some networking. I LOVE when I meet small business owners who not only offer a great product/service, but are passionate and enthusiastic on how they impact their customer and go above and beyond to create a great experience. Amanda seamlessly created a unique and (within my budget) girls day with my daughter + niece. The girls enjoyed an afternoon getting to know Amanda while getting a blowdry out along with some amazing braids and mini makeover to suit their ages. The girls felt like royalty and left those braids in what seemed like forever! Most recently Amanda and I were involved in a Mother/Daughter Event where she offered her braiding services to our girls. She took the time on each child not only to give a great braid, but had so much fun connecting and engaging with each young girl, which I personally loved because you don't always find that. We will definitely continue to support Amanda and Jonah Salon in the future!

Amanda has cut my hair for over two years. She is wonderful. She is always attentive and listens to what I want. I have curly thick red hair. Amanda thins my hair so it doesn't take 4 or 5 hours to dry. So very rare to find a stylist who hears what you say. I give her 5 stars 🌟 .

Amanda is amazing with hair! I sought her out because she uses low-tox products, and I am blown away at her ability with color. She always listens to my desires and has delivered time and time again. She goes above and beyond and I get compliments on my hair all the time. Love her!

Jenna cut my son's hair. He is 4 years old, on the spectrum, and absolutely hates haircuts. She did SUCH an amazing job, she was very sweet and patient. Her studio room is set up with a number of sensory toys to help ease the experience. I would definitely recommend her!

I absolutely love Amanda! I had never had someone do my makeup so neat and perfectly! I am so glad she did my hair and makeup for my wedding. Everyone loved my updo and my natural makeup. The skin tone matched perfectly and she was able to bring out my eyes without excessive eyeshadow. She was perfectly on time and is super kind. I most definitely recommend her!
