Absolutely delicious pizza! We ordered three pizzas for a group of five and it was just the right amount. The salad with the bread crumbs was fresh and that crunch factor was perfect.

Service was perfecto and prompt!

There was a special on the wine bottles the day we went too (Thursday)

Ordered out from here once before, but dined in for happy hour today. I’ve had Neapolitan pizza across the east coast and this stacks up against the best!

Most authentic Philly Cheesesteaks in Austin. Grabbed the Jumbo Philly with wiz and the Hangover Cheesesteak with extra eggs. Pepperoni pizza was solid AF. Definitely be back, 10 out 5 stars. 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

Great service, Diego was very friendly and super attentive. My boyfriend who is from the Northeast, got a cheese steak and he is very critical of pizzas and hoagies. The Americano rolls were rich and savory. Regular spot for us from now on.

This is one of the best pizza spots in town. Their dough is nice and chewy and the sauce is excellent. I used to frequent them when they operated out of a gas station. I am happy to see they have their own brick and mortar now!

The best wood-oven pizza in the entire city of Austin. Meatballs were also top class. I’m glad they finally opened their own restaurant. Before we used to pick their pizza to go at the gas station and always wished they had a space to sit down and enjoy it with a nice glass of wine. Super now!

Came here for dinner on my last night in Austin with my friend after reading all the great reviews. The pizza was beyond my expectations. My friend ordered a Buffalo chicken pie and I ordered the Roma.

Buffalo Chicken - I had a slice not expecting much because I’m just ok with buffalo chicken. It was really good, the buffalo sauce was a little tangy but not too much and the chicken was really tender.

Roma - This pie was one of the best I’ve ever had and there are lots of great pizza places in New York. I like how they did their Neopolitan style pizza here, the dough had a great chew, and the crust had a nice char. I’ve had places where the middle was too floppy and the cheese just fell off the slice. The toppings on this pie went really well together with the fresh mushrooms, onions that still had a bite, and sweet peppers that kept the pizza from feeling too heavy.

Had a great conversation with one of the bartenders and can’t wait to visit again the next time I’m in Austin.

Really, really great pizza. The Philly are said to be the best. Full bar, inside and outside areas, the beer was limited but in sure that was just when we were there.

Pizza here was fantastic. We had the Roma pizza, chicken bacon ranch pizza, cheese sticks and the Galina caprese pizza were put of this world. The bacon is made with brown sugar and taste fantastic on the pizza. Great atmosphere and good music. On the plus the bathrooms were extremely clean.

We had such a great time, the staff was fantastic and very welcoming. The atmosphere was nice and chill and the radio station was playing bangers the whole time. Probably the best happy hour around in south Austin, the pizza we had was fire!!!! Shout out to BG and Xavier for being so hospitable and making great recommendations from the menu.

Brought the family here we all enjoyed it, the tacos were good, the cheese bread, pizza pockets and pizza were great! Would definitely recommend it. The atmosphere was awesome, too! Our service was great.

Looking for a good meal? Stop the search. Grata’s menu, staff, and location is top notch. I’ve been a regular here for the last year and nothing could stop me from coming back. Being from the East Coast, I’m a Philly cheesesteak connoisseur and the variety offered at Grata along with the rest of the menu is nothing less than impressive. This place has to be the best pizza in Austin, hands down! I got the Balsamica pizza & my bf got one w meat & they were both incredible! They are nice sized pizzas, bf Ate all of his except for one piece. I ate a few pieces, have enough for dinner!

Their pizza is great! New to Austin so can’t really speak to pricing but felt a tad pricier.

I had the galina pesto pizza and loved every bit of it!
Also had a bite of their cheesesteak but felt it was a tad saltier for me but the taste was good.
Good service too! Timely and attentive.
I’ll definitely visit again, esp with the patio.

If there’s any room for improvement I’d recommend using less aromatic table cleaner cause the one being used last Friday was strong flowery smell that kinda-sorta messes up with the food aroma - this is just me being too particular.

Grata’s is a South Lamar gem. The atmosphere is authentic, pizza is great, and sandwiches are on par with some northeast delis. Great spot to watch Philly sports.

You're in for a treat if you decide to have your dining experience at this fine establishment. BG and his crew are so friendly and helpful with recommendations of what you should try (while everything is good, they really want you to try the pies - for obvious reasons). Everything was made with such care, and one would think that you'd be waiting for a long time for said care. Nope, our small bites came out promptly so we had something to munch on while we waiting, and our food wasn't far behind. The food was delicious - so much that the jerk I took with me ate most of the pizza before i could get my fair share of it. That should say something! I want to try one of the Phillies next, because the person next to me had one, and it smelled amazing! Thank you for an awesome experience; I will definitely be back!
