This was the first time we attended the annual Harmony German Christmas festival. We really enjoyed it. There was a lot to see and do at the festival. All the folks working at the booths and exhibits were very friendly. In fact, everyone in attendance seemed to really have a good time, but who wouldn't enjoy themselves with a mug of hot mulled wine in their hand as they looked around. Wonderful authentic German food and a beautiful, historic town that exudes old world charm.

The main museum area has some interesting antiques from local donors. The guide I encountered was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. The true way to get the most out of the visit is to take advantage of all of the unique spots (historical or small shoppes) around town.

Lovely and wonderful place to visit if you are interested in history. This town is a treasure, and when I found out I am descended from the Harmonites, it made visiting even more special. If you go to Harmony in October for their German Festival, you will not regret it.

There is much more to Harmony than one might think, even if you grew up here. Worth a visit! Knowledgeable staff and interesting exhibits.

Wonderful museum. It was closed when I was there but I was able to peak into the windows to get a nice view of the different displays. Stopped by the museum gift shop that was open and was able to see some wonderful items.

Must see and learn about this religious groups history and why they died out. Lots of old sites to see around within short walking distance. George Washington was here too.

I was there doing photography for a wedding. While I waited for everyone to arrive i strolled into the museum. That is such a cute little hidden town. The museum needs a more detailed visit as i saw very little of it...however, enough to want to see it as a whole.

Historic little village filled with homes and buildings from 1804 and up. Darling shops and bakeries and even a Bed and Breakfast .

It was a wonderful experience! From the video presentation and displays at the office and gift shop area to the walking tour led by a very engaging tour guide, John, it was a well organized and thoroughly enjoyable outing. I expected to be mildly interested but found myself captivated by the history, the buildings and the artifacts on display. Lovely!

Great staff sharing stories and history with our students for our field trip. We had a great time and learned a lot about this location and the people who lived in the area in the past.

Several ladies and I attended an Eleanor Burns event here. Her sister, Patty, showed lots of quilts she and her sister made, and showed a copy of Eleanor's very first book about log cabin quilts. Wonderful event each year right after Memorial day. I didn't see much of the museum, but it was sooooo worth the price!! As long as Eleanor Burns and her sister continue to do these presentations, I'll be there!!

Was passing through and saw this place, there's a lot of cool things to see there if you're into history. I wasn't there for very long but I definitely plan on returning.

We rented Stewart Hall out for our wedding rehearsal dinner, and it worked out really well. The employees are very nice/helpful, and the price was great. You get a fully stocked kitchen with two refrigerators, which is great when you have a bunch of beer and other lovely libations for your guests. They provide the table and chairs for your use, as well as an elevated dance floor in the back and a cool little historic basement. They even give you the option of cleaning up yourself to save on the cleaning fee, and we certainly took advantage of that. We had West Penn BBQ cater for us here, and we had a great time!

Wow!what an awesome day adventure. To see what the cery first harmony society immigrants from Germany were able to accomplish quickly and its still standing today is just an amazing testimony to their determination and craftsmanship
