Wow! Wow! Wow! We were down from Birmingham visiting my grandfather in Gulf Shores and he recommended we go out for dinner one night. We had made reservations but two people canceled last minute. The staff didn’t make a big deal of it and gave us the same table as soon as we walked in. Our service was so accommodating and they had water and bread chips already set up on the table for us to be seated. The bread chips were delicious. Going to Ivey’s you don’t have to settle on the food to get good service, here they have both. At our table we ordered the seafood crepes, the shrimp and grit cakes, the catfish with a shrimp and crab sauce, and the shrimp diane. All came with a house salad with your choice of dressing. Their homemade dressings are ranch, 1000 island, and blue cheese, which were all wonderful! I tasted every entree we ordered except the shrimp Diane and you cannot go wrong with any of the other three. The dish that really stood out to all of us was the shrimp and grit cakes, which our server informed us they had won an award for recently. This restaurant really is the whole package: adorable location, classy ambiance, amazing service, generous portions, extensive wine menu, and affordable pricing. Don’t skip this place even if you’re just driving through to the beach!

This place was recommended to me. I'm so glad I took their advice! Wonderful food-I had the almond grouper, and it was excellent. Also, the bread pudding was heaven.
My dining friends were equally impressed with their entrees.
Taylor was our attentive server, and the ambiance is quiet and lovely with beautiful art on every wall.

Love Iveys! Great upscale restaurant with delicious food. Many options to choose from and I haven’t had a bad meal yet! My husband and I tried the veal parmesan, and the veal mushroom and artichoke dinners.

We found another wonderful restaurant! This one is like fine dining at a beer budget as compared to other restaurant prices! Short drive to Robertsdale you can find Ivey’s. The food is in our opinion the best we have had at a restaurant. We went for lunch today and were amazed at the service and food. If you go for dinner they suggest calling ahead.

WOW! The food was absolutely perfect.
The recipes are something you won’t find elsewhere.
Wednesday was 1/2 off bottles, so wine & champagne was perfect.
Fried catfish, seafood stuffed filet mignon, and almond topped grouper…. ALL SO DELICIOUS 🤤 we made plans to visit again the following week.
Service was excellent too!

Food was amazing and my server was super kind and attentive. 10/10 will be back!

We went with some friends on an early afternoon on a Friday in December. FYI - They close down the kitchen from 3-4 to give the chef a break. Our reservation was at 2, and we just had to order by 2:45. The service was ok, but the waitress could have been a little more present. We had to hunt her down a couple times. They have a very large wine list. Also, there are quite a few wines by the glass. They have beer too but no liquor. We ordered off the lunch menu, and all the food was delicious. The entrees came with a very small side salad. I had the Blackened Shrimp and Eggplant. The shrimp were a large size and grilled perfectly. The eggplant was fried and nice and crisp. It was topped with a yummy Creole hollandaise sauce. My husband had the Catfish St Ives. It was fried and topped with a Shrimp and Crab sauce. He loved it. What a great place and great find in this small town!

Lovely place to dine. Tablecloths. Great service, great food! Seafood, Northern Italian (less red sauce). Highly recommend you try. 😁

Just wonderful start to finish. Every dish super good especially the oyster stew. Amy top of the line- super professional and friendly. Inside of the restaurant is charming and inviting, each table beautifully set. We will surely be steady customers and return often.

This is, without a doubt, the best restaurant I have ever been to.
Is there a way to give a 7 out of 5? I would give it to Ivey's.
For my birthday I will drive the almost 6 hours just so that I can have dinner at this restaurant. The food is always cooked correctly and the service is perfectly relaxed. Do you like steak, fish, chicken? They have it all and cooked in ways that will make your mouth water just reading about. Give Ivey's a try if you don't do anything else in the greater Mobile area.

Omg I wish I could rate higher. This food is top notch delicious. Recommend having a reservation. I really wish I could have captured the other dishes we ordered but all of us were wowed. Everything is fantastic definitely will be coming back. Good thing to know is they do work with you if you have allergies.

This is the go-to restaurant in Robertsdale and offers the perfect balance of casual and semi-fine dining.
Offering lunch and dinner, this place is located right in the heart of the downtown area and also features a wonderful wine selection. My favorite dish is the Blackened Ribeye Salad from the lunch menu- the lettuce is crisp and the steak seared perfectly. For tonight's dinner, I enjoyed the Bourbon Ribeye with the Vegetable Medley. The delicately sweet bourbon sauce paired the tender steak is a delightful combination. Be sure to try the garlicky croutons that are a complimentary appetizer. I could eat the whole plate myself! They are crunchy, buttery, and seasoned perfectly. My dining companions selected the Seared Duck Breast and Grilled Breast of Chicken and were equally pleased with their meals. In fact, there wasn't a morsel of the duck breast left on my husband's plate!

Came for lunch- service was excellent and the food was so good. Try the fried eggplant with shrimp and crawfish- you will not be disappointed. The custard with burnt sugar was also worth every calorie for dessert! :)

We have lived in multiple cities and this has to be the best food we have ever had. Every single bite of each dish was wonderful. Cozy atmosphere and wonderful staff. Lunch is just as good as dinner.

Wonderful place! My wife and I were able to have a romantic Valentine's dinner. Our server Shawna (sp?) was excellent! The food was amazing!

Had the lunch Blackened Shrimp with Eggplant. EXCELLENT! Followed up with the New Orleans Bread Pudding, made to share. Also EXCELLENT!

First time here, and it was really nice. The food, service, and atmosphere were all great.

We've visited Ivey's several times, including with friends. We have never been disappointed. For our most recent visit, I ordered their eggplant jubilee which consists of fried eggplant with grilled shrimp topped with crabmeat and hollandaise sauce. All I really know to describe it is to say outrageously delicious. My wife had a steak and loved it. Service was excellent.
