Flora-Bama

Enjoyed our little visit. I thought it was a restaurant since my sons birthday he wanted to stop by and check it out. It was definitely not that lol. Too bad he wasn't old enough to enjoy the bar scene fully but maybe next year when he's old enough we would stop by again. He enjoyed the oysters at least.

It's just one of those places. Stop and see it at least once, but remember where you came in! This place is huge! Live entertainment, the Bushwaker is so smooth that it tastes like there might be trouble in my future. There is so much to look at, very friendly staff . Not crazy when we were here, rainy and cool weather. We did not have any food, so I can't speak to that.

Fun place with constant entertainment. Sometimes on multiple levels. Free Bingo on Thursdays. Bartenders are nice but it is rare to have anyone come to your table. You can be inside or out on beach.

I had heard so many stories from this place that I had to stop by. My wife and I went in as they opened and bought some shirts. I also had to use the restroom so I was directed back to the bar area. I got to take some pictures and visit such a nostalgic place. Over the years they’ve added so much, including the yacht club across the street.

Don't miss this little gem, parking can be tough but there's always options across the street. There's a few stages and bars, have to try their version of the Bushwacker - it's STRONG. Awesome main stage, beautiful view from the roof patio and a great outdoor deck area with seating.

A great place to get together and have a few drinks and relax. It is a bar with good food. The nightlife usually has a band playing with a great atmosphere. On Sunday mornings there is church service in the outer bar area. Everyone knows and respects that. The owners always give back to the community 20 fold. They are awesome people willing to help anyway they can.

First year attending the Polar Bear Plunge at the Flora-Bama. We thought arriving an hour early would be sufficient. We were also wrong. Almost 5000 in attendance. I would recommend adding additional food/beer stations, as the wait time for both are way too long. We avoided making and purchases due to the long lines. Didn’t stay for our free lunch due to lines either. Parking was $40.00. We loved the experience, and will definitely attend again. See y’all for the mullet toss!

Words can’t express my love for Flora Bama! Grew up going to Easter Eggs hunts as a child and turned 21 years old here! It’s a wonderful mix of folks, incredible musicians and talented song writers. The staff is kind and caring to everyone that walks in the door. The raw oysters are the best in town and we love kicking off our weekend each Friday listening to the great vocals of Queenie (the Queen of the Flora Bama). We recommend all of our guests to visit the Bama during their stay and try their first Bushwacker! Bring the babies and grannies, all ages are welcomed! Beach play, bingo, live music, good food and a wonderful church service on Sundays.

Had a fun time with my friends and my friend's family. First time, we pulled up on the boat for a quick Bushwacker, which was enjoyable. Second time, we all sat down for dinner (and another Bushwacker).
Service was great, even when some of us were "fighting" over the check (birthday boy was trying to pay), our waitress was very helpful and attentive.
Would love to visit again when I'm back in town.

This place is a blast! Live music 7 days a week. Fun atmosphere. The big Earl show is a must.

Don't want to call it a dive bar but it's a huge dive bar lol. They will check your bags and wand you with a metal detector when you go in. KUDOS to the gift shop inside where veterans will get a 10% discount on gift shop merchandise. This has bars within the bar, and live music in those bars within the bar. It's for sure a party vibe although there were kids in there as well. Open access to the beach also. You can be inside listening to music or at one of the many outside bars. Don't expect fancy tables and bars to sit at....bring a marker so you can add your name, artwork, or words of wisdom to a wall, table, door, light fixture, or anywhere else there's an empty space for it. And if you choose to ditch your bra there's a place for that as well. Everybody needs to go once...specialty drinks are good and staff was awesome. Be ready to roam, more than one floor, and several changes in atmosphere depending on where you choose to get your drink. I recommend exploring the whole place. People of all ages from all walks of life, don't go if you're gonna judge. We went mid afternoon, I'm sure the night life there is not the same as the daytime vibe. Just go see for yourself!

Been all over…if you like live country music/ southern rock there is no better place in these United States and safe to say…. the world. Great music, great performers in one of the best locations..right on the beach. No frill bar and food. Classic place with a rich history. Don’t miss it! A must see place like bo other best beach bar on the gulf coast

Had great food at the Flora-Bama Yacht Club. I actually went to a wedding rehearsal party here. It was a great choice, the oysters were amazing.

An outstanding bar with quite a few serving locations inside on both the Alabama and the Florida side lol with several stages and live music.

They have an area on the beach as well with live performances.

The drinks are reasonably priced when the service is pretty good.

When you park you have to park on the opposite side of the road, because the parking next to the bar is for the condos.

Another place that I recommend if you haven't visited, take a sharpie write your name on the wall.

What a fun place! Went on a Friday night and listened to two bands. Drinks were reasonable and it was a great atmosphere. Definitely a place to check out while you are in town.

Great place. Stopped here with a Pontoon boat we rented. Pulled it right up on the beach.

With all the different restaurants and bars and beaches you got something to do your entire vacation here and you never know when you're going to see a famous face

We didn't eat but the beer was cold and the entertainment great. I love this bar. 🍺
