Super cute, hometown star. Bacon cheeseburgers were wonderful. Just like a backyard grill out. Fries were fresh and hot. Ice cream was perfect. Great value to top it off. Good experience, we will be back.

One of our favorite stops on our Route 66 road trip. Classic 1950s spot. We got 2 regional dishes: fried pork tenderloin sandwich and a horseshoe: toast topped with meat (I chose fried pork tenderloin), fries, and creamy cheeseseating. All great, plus great ice cream too and friendly staff, fairly priced. Open seasonally with outdoor seatin.

Excellent little place off the beaten path for ice cream. Their prices were quite reasonable. They have a large number of ice cream flavors that you can choose from. Definitely worth the little detour off of 55.

We've been going here for ice cream since I was a little kid spending the summer with my grandparents. They both passed away recently and many of us from different parts of the country met up for late night ice cream and sweet sweet memories! Thank you whirl a whip for being such a huge part of our history 🥰

The food is cheap and the ice cream is the best ice cream I've ever had they are super nice and you get your food almost instantly even if it's packed with other costumers

If you’re ever off the beaten path and in the area. This is a great place to get lunch well worth driving away from the interstate if you can spare the time. Great food great prices great food. Most of the time it’s packed around lunch but we’ll worth the wait. The locals know they have a great place to eat

Very popular summer dining/ice cream spot, as the line to order often stretches to the front of the seating area. One of the best Philly cheesesteak sandwiches can be found here. That crispy, yet buttery hoagie, combined with the cheese, peppers, onions, and meat, and I’m in heaven. Then there’s the juice that settles at the bottom of the container. I use that like a bit of au jus for dipping. Pair this beauty with their mouth-watering onion rings, and you’re set for a great summer meal!! Did I mention that the onion rings are homemade, as well as their hoagies for the Philly?!

It was pretty chilly out but we saw this place open and decided to try it they have a very big menu lots of ice cream choices and food choices, the service is very fast and super friendly, the food was very good just don't wait too long to eat it. I got fried pickles and an Okie burger the fried pickles were good and the burger was very good loved thr cheesy sauce and BBQ sauce they had on it ( *bonus points for them actually grilling the burgers*) I got a cheesecake whirlwind which is basically a blizzard and it was pretty good too

Live 1hr away but always stop for sandwiches or their great icecreams..always a very busy place

Always a great dining experience, we only ordered ice cream this time. Thankfully the sun was out as they are outdoor seating only and closing for thr season soon.

They have great burgers and fries, excellent cheese sauce, and THE BEST ice cream treats. Also love coming here because it's a historic part of Rt. 66.

I was told to get the route 66 burger but chose there deep fried soft taco. It was a perfect size and way better than any taco bell fast food.

How can you go wrong with 50 flavors of soft serve!!! Very friendly staff. Such a huge menu with interesting food items. One of the employees took the time to get us back on track to route 66.

So many choices! Great food, great ice cream, great prices! So glad this place is still in business! Haven't tried anything that I don't like. If you're in Girard, stop by Whirl-A-Whip for a meal, snack, or just a refreshing drink.

Excellent! Always love going here. Just stopped for a milkshake on a hot day at work. And it was delicious as always.
Recommended to anyone who wants really good and cheap food and ice cream products. I will be back!

Oh. My. Goodness!!! Can you say, Route 66 deliciousness??!! Totally worth a stop while driving the historic Mother Road. The ice cream is divine. The only negative is the hours. They don't stay open very late.
