Courtyard by Marriott Chicago Highland Park/Northbrook

We were attending an event at Ravinia with our kids and needed a place to stay nearby. We arrived early and asked if we might be able to check in. My kiddo also asked if we could have an interior room. Anna, the manager, was kind enough to accommodate all of our requests and seemed happy to do so. This hotel is clean and inviting, and the room was spotless.
We discovered when we got home that we had left behind a sentimental item. I called right away, and the friendly front desk employee said they’d get it back to us. Every single hotel staff member was friendly and attentive. I can’t say enough good things about this place, and I hope we have reason to go back again!
Edit: I spoke to Allison several times yesterday to coordinate shipping for retrieval of our forgotten item. Allison was patient, understanding, and did everything possible to help us. Tracking number was sent immediately, and our item is supposed to return to us tomorrow. Thanks again Allison!

Really enjoyed our stay here! Very clean throughout the entire property; Rooms, lobby, pool area, hallways, court yard and even the parking lot. Highly Recommend if you are going to an event at Ravinia, a shuttle is provided for guests. Front Desk Staff, Cafe employees and Shuttle Driver all provided exceptional customer service

The resturant closed for the day as did the bar for no clear reason, so had to go hiking down the road for food and a 🍻. Otherwise no

I had an awesome long stay at this hotel Chris and Chris and front desk team are the best. The rooms can access plenty of fresh air and the cleaning staff are very kind and excellent.

This courtyard location was great. We had the 2 room setup with 2 double beds in one room and a couch in the living area. It was very clean and we were pleased with the facilities. I give it 5 stars because it was overall a great experience, but there are aspects that i’m not at all impressed with. The bistro and coffee bar was good (loved the french toast sticks), but expensive and limited options for kids that just wanted a continental breakfast. I wish there had been some plain options available for free as an option for picky kids, like bagels, cereal and milk/juice. The hotel staff took good care of us and were friendly, but the responsiveness via the bonvoy app was slow and one of our requests for towels was listed as fulfilled but we never received anything (not a big deal, just mentioning it). Swimming pool was fun, but was a bit cold for my thin blood. A few degrees warmer would have been comfortable.

This is a great place to stay if you are visiting the Chicago area. After picking up my car rental at O'Hare it was an easy drive over to this hotel. I was promptly greeted by the front desk agent when I arrived to check in and that same courtesy continued the next morning. The staff was attentive and friendly answering all the questions I had about the area. They have a little coffee shop right in the lobby that serves excellent breakfast. The employees there were polite and made sure I had everything I needed for my meal including my special dietary requests. Unfortunately, I was only able to stay one night but I will definitely be back!

We had a really short stay here as we arrived late evening and had to leave early in the morning. Room and building were clean and well kept. One downfall is they are close to the highway and you can hear some of the road noise.

We reserved a block of rooms for a wedding party and the staff were very helpful in ensuring everything was taken care of. Rooms were clean and nicely done. We had a minor incident where someone in our group dropped 5 large glass sparkling juice bottles just as we were heading out and we couldn't stay to help clean up. I told the lady at the front desk and she said not to worry and they'd take care of it. And they did. No trace when we returned. The facilities were all very nice. It's also a great location for events at the Highland Park Community House. We certainly recommend this hotel.

Stayed while the property was undergoing a remodel, which was fine, very light guest count due to covid. Elevator was maybe out of service, but didn't really investigate as I don't want to be in elevators right now. Third floor walk up was within my bounds, but be aware if you have limited mobility. Room seemed recently refreshed and was totally fine, no complaints and recommend this property. When the remodel is done and the pandemic is over it will be a perfect location that can appeal to business travelers and families.

They run a shuttle to the Ravinia festival. That was priceless. The driver was fantastic and it made our concert experience very low-stress.

I was very impressed at this hotel. The staff was friendly, helpful and Maryam at the front desk even helped me print out my concert tickets that I hadn't been able to print prior to my flight in. The process of taking their shuttle to and from the Ravinia for the concert was quick and efficient. They keep track of who is taking the shuttle and make sure everyone on the list is picked up after the show. The driver took the time to show us exactly where he would pick us up afterwards and drop off was right at the gate. The rooms and beds were clean, quiet and spacious, though the beds and pillows were a bit soft but that's a personal preference.

Comfortable clean rooms! The layout of hotel is a u, with bottom of the u being the lobby. The rooms on the inside of the u face the courtyard. The lobby is spacious and comfy. There are places to hang out in the courtyard too. There is a pool. Breakfast is available at the cafe in the lobby BUT NOT INCLUDED . You can charge it to the room. Very good and filling!

This is a very well run Marriott. The general manager is there to assist and make your stay as good as it can be. The room was immaculate the bathroom new and well functioning. Nice big lobby, complimentary Starbucks.

I had a very stressful full day of traveling and had a late check in, Angelina! was so amazing and helpful with checking in and figuring out my transportation for the next day making sure everything would be on time and go smoothly! She went way above and beyond what she really had to make me feel welcome and take a ton of stress off my back for next day. She is so great. Thanks Angelina!

On a side note.. The hotel is really nice! VERY clean and comfortable! They have Paul Mitchell products to use which is great and they serve Starbucks!

We book rooms here all the time for work. We accidentally double booked and didn't realize until after the cancellation deadline. Crystal called us ahead of time to notify us about the duplicate and she was able to work with me to find a solution that was mutually beneficial for all parties. Amazing customer service!!

Excellent services, room meet overall clean and fresh towels, no pets remains in any rooms or carpet. Loved the stay!!

Did not stay here, but met up with a colleague for drinks in their lobby/lounge area. The staff was very friendly and offered me water while I was waiting. The lounge is well decorated and the little cafe/bar had good specials.

The hotel was very clean and the staff is very friendly. Especially Crystal. She went above and beyond. She was very welcoming and kind. This hotel was cleaner and nicer than the Renaissance hotel down the street.

After numerous trips to Northbrook/Deerfield this has become my choice hotel. I've stayed here multiple times. Comfortable, clean and quiet. Bonus: The staff are super helpful very welcoming!

Room was clean and comfortable. We were kind of sad we could not use the sliding glass door screen to get the fresh air, but our stay was quick and quiet. Nice place with a reasonable rate.
